I've dealt with a lot of sales people at various dealerships. Hands down Ahstawn has been the best. A lot of that has to do with CarMax's no haggle process. Ahstawn's natural ability to put us at ease and help us over a period of time to locate just the perfect vehicle was a nice experience. Reese also assisted in Ahstawn's absence. Reese is truly a gentleman. Professional, polite, and put my wife first - which I appreciate. So many sales folks disregard the female in the sale, and that has always bothered me. Not Reese - he treated her with as much if not more respect than he did me. The purchase is a joint effort on our part, and she has every bit of say in the purchase as I do. The closing and service shop were perfect as well. Job well done! Oh, and the vehicle - my wife's dream ride!!! More

The delivery took longer than expected due to an issue with the vehicle, which is fine and glad that it was corrected. The problem was getting updates on the status. Everytime I called it appeared that no one knew anything at all about it. Spent a lot of time on hold and was promised that people would call me back only to have that very rarely actually occur. The financing and actual purchase went very well, but the customer service leading up to the sale was far less than ideal. On the back end, because the car was titled out-of-state originally, i had to take it to the DMV to have them confirm that the vehicle matched the VIN, etc for titling in Kansas. I took the paperwork back to Carmax less than 24 hours after receiving it from them, yet was called later to be "reminded" that I needed to turn in the paperwork, which of course I already had. A small thing, but still a thing. More

Everybody worked very hard to satisfy us, but your financing process is terrible. I went in with a pre-approval for financing. I have a credit score of 841. No matter what the sales people did, the financing process is terrible. I went in with a pre-approval for financing. I have a credit score of 841. No matter what the sales people did, the computer would not approve my loan. I ended up having to pay cash. Speed of the transaction is rated poor because it took 4 1/4 hours to try and resolve the financing problem. More

Experience was fast and simple. Managed to get exactly the truck I wanted with no major hassle.
