Don Franklin Family of Dealerships got its humble beginning in 1968 when Don Franklin, a Columbia, Kentucky native and self-taught mechanic, aspired to own his own dealership. With the support of his wife, Barbara, the Franklins invested their life savings to start their own used car lot - Don’s Used Cars in Columbia, KY. With tremendous hard work and overall commitment to customer service Don, Barbara, and their children, Eddie and Dan managed to grow that small community dealership to a thriving dealership group consisting of 19 New Dealership franchisees carrying an average of over 5,000 vehicles, employing over 1000 Kentucky families, and serving over 30 Kentucky communities.
