There are few experts in whom you must place full trust; doctor, jeweler, pilots, car mechanics. I trust Waylon that he will follow up on my maintenance needs with the men out in the shop. I get my car back with the full 20 point inspections plus updates as we’re waiting. I’m confident that my car is getting exactly what’s needed, even had a discount coupon! More

I brought my car to West Broad Honda on 9/17 for an oil change. They found a nail in one of the tires and I agreed to have it patched. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. It ended up taking close change. They found a nail in one of the tires and I agreed to have it patched. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. It ended up taking close to two hours. The explanation was that they were being extra careful because they didn’t want to scratch my wheel. Before I left, the tech even showed me a wheel that looked fine. When I got home, I noticed the fresh wheel weights were actually on the opposite wheel from the one I had been shown. The wheel they really worked on had several fresh gouges in the paint, with glossy black touch-up paint smeared over a satin black finish. There was even paint on the tire. Photos will be attached if this site allows it. At that point, the two-hour wait started to make a lot more sense. It certainly doesn’t look like that extra time was spent making sure the wheel wasn’t damaged. It looks like it was spent trying to cover up the damage and waiting for the paint to dry. I went back the next morning assuming this was an honest mistake and that they would just make it right. Instead, Service Manager Brett Corle was unnecessarily adversarial almost immediately. He eventually said the wheel would be fixed, but couldn’t tell me when, couldn’t tell me when I would hear back, and seemed irritated that I expected the repair to be done properly. I asked him for a business card and he told me he didn’t have one on him, even though we were about 20 feet from his office. He said he would call me, but never asked for my phone number and never wrote anything down. The frustrating part is that I’m not even that upset that a tech damaged a wheel. Mistakes happen. What bothers me is that it appears the damage was hidden, I was shown a different wheel, and then the person responsible for handling the problem acted like I was being unreasonable for wanting it corrected. What I’m asking for is pretty simple. I’d like someone with the authority to actually resolve this to contact me, give me a date, and have the wheel professionally refinished by a wheel repair shop instead of getting another round of touch-up paint in the service bay. I’ll gladly update this review if and when they make it right. After this morning, I’m just not very confident that will happen. John T More

When we came in, we worked with Sales Consultant David Fortune, and he was excellent. David was extremely knowledgeable about the Pilot, patiently answered all of our questions, and took the time to make sure we understood the vehicle and its features. Most importantly, we never felt pressured or rushed into making a decision. We purchased the Pilot through the Costco Auto Program, which was also a very positive experience. The process was straightforward and made the buying experience even easier. We are very pleased with our new Pilot and with the entire experience at West Broad Honda.
