Classic bait and switch. Horrible customer service. - uconn3434
This dealership lives up to every bad car dealer stereotype you can imagine. I had been back and forth e-mailing Katrina for 3 days about what 2019 Passports were available, and time was a factor because I wanted to take advantage of the Honda loyalty $1000 incentive that expired today, January 6th. We agreed to a price for a Touring model and I told her I would be in Monday to complete the transaction. She never asked for a deposit or anything and said it would all be ready to go. I drove 45 minutes to the dealership this morning, sat down with a salesperson and Katrina came over to greet me. The salesperson told me that they had sold the exact car that I was there to buy the day before (Sunday) and that they didn't have any others available. The manager Joe came over and offered no apology, just said, "it's gone there's nothing we can do." His version of customer service was to offer me a lesser model EX-L for over $2000 more than what we had agreed upon the day before. Or I could get an Elite for over $4000 more. Nothing was done or offered to make it right. Meanwhile the exact car that allegedly sold on Sunday is still available for sale on their website. Absolutely despicable tactics. All I got was a half-hearted, "Sorry we didn't have your car. Have a great day," e-mail from Katrina an hour after we left. I ended up getting a fully loaded Elite in the color I wanted from Lundgren Honda in Auburn for only $500 more than they wanted me to pay for the much lower end EX-L. I am not a huge fan of Lundgren Honda from a previous experience there, but they made up for it this time. Unforgivable business practices here at Majestic. Buyer beware!
