Worked with us on a lot of factors to get to a compromise on the price. Would have liked the vehicle a little cleaner. Process was quick and they offered warranties but didn’t force, sneak, or talk me to death about not selecting it. My wife is the one who shopped and looked for the vehicle and she did say Walied was polite and easy going. She was treated fairly and with respect vs the Honda in Branford that the manager was rude to. This ultimately led us to working with them here and shutting the door on Branford.

I went in to Lia Honda at the end of my lease to see... - RUVANCOHEN
I went in to Lia Honda at the end of my lease to see about leading a meeting Honda. I had excess mileage on my old lease and they represented that Honda Finance would absorb half of the excess mileage fee. They asked me to pay my half at the time of lease signing. I did. They then sent in the paperwork to Honda Finance with my excess mileage payment as simply a down payment and left me to deal with Honda Finance for the full amount. I assumed this was a clerical error that Lia Honda would fix and I visited the dealership 3 times in 2 months and the salesperson confirmed to me that he knew the excess mileage payment had been made. I called Honda Finance and they told me what the dealership had to do. I wrote to the General Manager by email and followed up by phone every day. I even found out the General Manager had instructed the salesperson not to deal with me and that “he would handle it.” I guess handling it meant ignoring my calls and emails. DON’T DEAL WITH LIA HONDA. They are not honest and once they get you to sign documents they ignore their customers. I thought that they were honest and straightforward. I was very wrong!

My sister purchased a car on 12/03/2020 and noticed all... - Marilynbunn95
My sister purchased a car on 12/03/2020 and noticed all types of noises. The salesman Miguel told her that any problems will get fixed, so she agreed to purchase. She originally came to check out a cheaper car that was advertised online but they told her she couldn’t buy it because the engine is “messed up”. Why is a car with a messed up engine online for sale for $6k??? My sister has taken her car to Bertera Subaru across the street for a diagnostic which cost $156. Bertera told her that her car isn’t safe to drive and they don’t know how Balise managed to pass inspection , also has to pay over one thousand dollars in repairs. All Balise can say is “It’s not a brand new car” and they’ve admitted to breaking car pieces . They find any reason to pass the blame onto YOU! Mind you my sister didn’t even have the car 30 days and brought it back 3x. Also when she goes in they act all annoyed and act as if you are disturbing them. They also said she needs to PAY for a diagnostic fee to Subaru because they don’t know what’s wrong with the car. Unfortunately this is her first time financing a car and Balise has made this experience xxxx for her. She is a single mother with kids with severe asthma and needs a SAFE and reliable vehicle. Oh and every time she leaves her vehicle with them they add about 150+ miles to the car (so the warranty can expire FASTER) , probably taking joy rides .Pretty much she was conned and Balise should be ashamed of themselves. The sales folk and everyone are friendly until you sign the paper work and then they show their true colors. Please stay away!
Scam!! My daughter brought in my Civic for a slow tire... - Santo M.
Scam!! My daughter brought in my Civic for a slow tire leak, she was advised by Tech Stephen Everitt, it needed a new TPMS sensor because it was leaking. Anyone who knows anything about cars should know that TPMS sensors have a rubber grommet around its threaded neck that seals inside the tire rim to prevent air leaks but the service dept. would make very little money on that simple repair and therefore, it’s much easier to BS the customer into paying $190.00 plus tax for an “Aftermarket” sensor that comes with new parts. It seems to be common practice to lie to female customers who don’t know any better. I told her to refuse the repair and bring the car back home and I’ll fix it myself!
