Two days after purchasing my vehicle I noticed condensation in my back lights. After some back-and-forth communication, Tasca ford replaced my rear lights without charge. Wheel Problem - unhappydude
I had a shimmy felt through the steering wheel at slow speed , I was told one tire had worn in a way to cause it .
I was told the wheel nuts had ....SWOLLEN......and was charged for new nuts !!!!!!!.
If you look at my service record the car has received a filter and oil change every 5000 miles or very close.
I believe if the wheel nut were some what deformed , the only way that could happen is to use a wrong size socket.
Only Litchfield Ford mechanics have ever touched the car .
The mechanic also pointed out I needed 4 new tires.
It is advised to renew the tires when the center tread measures .125 inch, I declined to replace the tires.
On returning home I used a vernier depth gauge to measure the center tread of all 4 tires , all of them measured about .170 inch , proving the tires do not yet need replacing.
In my opinion Litchfield Ford should refund the charge of replacing my SWOLLEN nuts !!!!!!

Recently purchased a new F150. Walked in and was assisted immediately by salesman who listened to my list of "wants" and identified a vehicle scheduled to be delivered to the dealership in the very near future that fit my requirements closely. Negotiating price and additional options was easy and there were no pressure tactics used by salesman or business agent who processed the final paperwork. Only less than optimal aspect of transaction was long wait time to see business agent to process the formal paperwork.

I've been buying new Fords since 1987, very brand loyal but never dealership. Buying a new car can sometimes be stressful. Full disclosure I used True Car, and I got a ton of "offers" quickly. Brewster Ford had the second best deal, but that "better deal" seemed very shady. Dave G contacted me quickly and they had the exact car, color and trim I wanted at a good deal. I stopped by 2 days later to see the car and confirm the deal and leave deposit. 2 days later I was signing papers and driving away in my new car. One of the most stress free purchases I've ever made. They offer a warranty program if you bring it in for oil changes, so I started bringing it back despite driving by a closer dealership I had dealt with in the past. First oil change had a bit of an issue with spillage, but they made it right. I've been back 4 times since and the Service Department has been great! It's less than a year, but who knows I may become loyal to a dealership after 31 years? Great job Brewster Ford

It took them several days to take care of these problems, but they did everything to address them, without a word of complaint. So I walk into Mitchell Selig Ford today (Saturday 1/12/19) to take the 4Runner for a test drive. I was only allowed to drive it around that parking lot as it needed “a part” to make it road worthy. After almost an hour of watching my salesman go back and forth working the numbers between myself and Tyler, the sales manager, Tyler finally walked out and greeted me. Tyler asked me “if we replace the part and everything is fine, would I buy the car?” I replied “I haven’t even test driven it yet. How can I know if I would like it?” He then stated that they are going to send the car to auction on Tuesday without replacing the part so I have until then to decide (with no test drive).
So here is a vehicle that they are advertising for sale on the internet, to the world, but you can’t take it for a test drive unless you commit to buying it, then they will fix it. You also only have two days to decide (talk about pressure tactics). T.J. Selig, what are your thoughts on this?

The whole service experience was a joke! I was left repairing my vehicle on the side of the highway after leaving from the service department. They scratched the xxxx out of my truck, and after telling them there was never any follow up to try to resolve this. They brushed the whole thing off like it never happened. Since then I have gone to another Ford dealership and have been treated one hundred percent better.

Terrible Techs and Awful Customer Service - Another Upset Customer
As many other reviews have stated, this deal is beyond awful with their work, quality assurance, and customer service. Time frames are never met, work is never completed, vehicles have been returned dirty and in worse condition than when it was originally dropped off. Many of the responses from service managers have been agreeable with me, but never acted on. The best I've received was a free oil change. Jiffy Lube could do that for $20... thanks for really trying to make things right. On a maybe better note(?) they have recently changed some service managers around so it might get better? But I doubt it. Oh and NEVER let them send your vehicle out to their collision center. I don't have enough time in the day to go into details about how bad the work is or how the vehicles get treated.

Overcharged for repairs - Ford Customer
They charged over $350 dollars to replace a cam positioning sensor on my 2014 Fusion that I purchased from them. They charged 2.5 hours to labor to evaluate the problem when it the car was in their shop for 15 minutes before they came out and told me the part needed to be replaced. In researching what a fair price should have been, it was $110 to $170 range. They charged me three times what they should have.

Sarat Ford was eager to sell us a vehicle, but ONE DAY later couldn't be bothered to return emails and phone calls. The new car they sold us had a noticeable nick on the tailgate. After REPEATED attempts to reach the salesperson, we were told he could only offer us a small vial of factory paint for us to FIX IT OURSELVES. A few months later, the sales team AGAIN ignored repeated attempts to request paperwork proving they paid the state sales tax (which the State disputes they did). Very BAD, very, very BAD service!!!
