I made the mistake of walking into this dealership unknowing of previous complaints and their facade. My friend had received a letter in the mail claiming he won a prize and to come redeem it, unfortunately it was a ploy to get people in to sell them a car. I met Walter Pettway and he seemed pleasant at first (Of course, he needs his commissions!) He became very pushy and persistent when I was on the fence. I should’ve walked away as soon as he displayed this aggressive trait, but I was easily persuadable and naive. He talked me into buying a 2018 Toyota Camry, previously owned. He told me a lot of sweet things to talk me into buying this car like free oil changes; but he didn’t tell me it was a one time deal. When I went to the dealership to get my oil change, they apparently inspected my whole car and marked that my brakes were “mid level”. Highly unlikely they even checked at all, if they neglected to notice how bad my rotor was! After 5 months of owning a 2018 vehicle I shouldn’t have to replace my left rear brake rotor after I only put 10,000 on. Walter Pettyway became defensive after I told him they sold the car me in that condition. He became defensive, screaming, and cursing at me on the phone and did not allow me to get a word in.. How professional! Once he got his commission, he was no longer the pleasant and helpful sales consultant he perceived to be. On top of that, the back of my car says “SE” but the VIN comes up as “LE”. Misinterpretation. can say I’ve learned some valuable life lessons this year being a young adult. Always research when making large purchases and NO is okay to say! I hope you can take from my experience and not step foot on this establishment. You’ll save yourself the money and time. Shut this place down.
