Carlos was very familiar with the vehicle we wanted to purchase, had a command of the services, warranties and competently addressed our questions and concerns. He took the time necessary for my wife and I to understand what we were buying. In addition, as we requested, Carlos ensured that minor cosmetic issues were taken care of prior to delivery.
Finally, Carlos walked us through all the features of the car, set up our phones and spent the time necessary to familiarize us with the car we just bought.
We are loyal to another Toyota dealership in CT. However, this time, they did not have what we were looking for readily available. We had never been to A-1 prior to this purchase but took a shot at a dealership we knew nothing about. Glad we did - the experience was positive and we were treated with patience, respect and courtesy. We responded in kind.

I have purchased or leased three cars through this dealership. Each time I have been treated exceptionally well. The salesperson that I have dealt with each time is Saeid. He has a very nice personality, very friendly, and knowledgeable about each vehicle that I have been interested in. So he questions me about my needs and desires. Each time he comes through with a solution for me that meets my needs. Andy, the manager gets involved, and makes you feel like you are part of his family, and treats you as such, giving you the best deal possible.
After the car is purchased, they don’t forget about you. In the service department, I usually deal with Sue, and again, I’m still part of the family, and my treatment there is great also.
One of my vehicles got damaged, so I needed body work done.Not only was the work done exceptionally well, but it was done at a much lower cost than any other place. Best place I’ve ever done business by far.

Pros - Friendly sales dept, attentive, quality and care of preowned merchandise - excellent, accomodating, and assisted in buying out my lease so i could purchase above vehicle. Cons - didnt honor GROOVE car pricing, vehicle was actually priced $2000 higher. Car was 'as is', didnt offer to cover a mechaincal overhaul of the car prior to 'pick up' of the car. Didnt offer an extended warranty for preowned, only the 3yr/36,000 mile that is original warranty for a new vehicle. Comfort and appearance of showroom - poor. Purschased car due to reliability, reviews, not showroom or dealership.

I appreciate Walter Smith's oversight of all work performed on my cars. He insures that all work is done properly and according to my specific requests. My last service performed on 1/24/2019 required new brakes and belts as well as regular maintenance. Car now stops smooth as silk and no more mouse like belt sounds. Service at New Rochelle has always been surprisingly fast too, less than 4 hours for my last service. New Rochelle also provides WiFi, so I can use my laptop if I choose to wait.

We just got our car last week, my husband has always loved Toyota, it's been the only make we've always had so we knew what we wanted when we got there. We walked in as regular customers interested into acquire a new car, what we were not expecting was the amazing and outstanding service Lia Toyota of Rockland deliver to their clients, our sales rep. (ROBERTO SEDA) gave us a warming welcome, we felt we've got to the right place from the very first moment, He made us feel valuable and cared, he showed interest into our desires by listening and trying to help us to accomplish our dream, instead of just sell a car and that's it, he was patient and kind, we simply loved him.
After we went through all car things, he called his manager (JILLIAN DELGADO) to arrange the last details, she is amazing, so empowered and determined but careful and kind as well, she explained all of the financial details, we were so happy and excited at that time, she explained that we just needed to wait a couple of minutes to finalize the process with the financial department, unfortunately the system went down and we had to wait a couple of hours, but they made sure that we were good and tried in all possible ways to comfort us by explaining the situation and caring about the time we was "wasting", it was impossible that day, the system never came back so we had to come back the following day, even though we were desperate to take our new baby home, we truly understood that the situation escaped out of their hands and that they really tried, so we left the store without the car but extremely happy. The following morning they both called us to let us know that we could finalize the transaction, so we went to pick up our car.
They knew that sale was a fact, however they continued making us feel special, finally we got everything done with (BENY) from finance, he was so kind as well, explained very carefully all of the details and recommendations, we left the place with no doubts or questions regarding our acquisition or the financial process, but we left the place with the car of our dreams and a couple of new lovely friends.

I took my 2014 Prius for a diagnostic for a rubbing sound coming from the wheel.
It ended up being a wheel bearing needed to be replaced. I have the platinum VSA which I got when I bpught the car at Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY. Apparently when your service ppl check if the customer has warranty coverage, they only check their local database rather than checking the national Toyota database, which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life, since it makes the assumption that anyone who comes into any Toyota service center must have bought the car at that particular Toyota location, which anyone with an ounce of business sense understands is very frequently not always going to be the case. So once they figure out what I needed the service guy at the desk out to the waiting room with a bill for $800 in his hand. And he goes "do you have any warranties that Im not aware of?" I don't know, what warranties are you aware of? Why is it the customer's responsibility to tell the Toyota service staff that they might want to try checking in the Toyota database to see if I have a Toyota warranty on my Toyota that I've brought into their Toyota service center. Morons. You guys do that xxxx so that little old Betty Sue who doesnt remember what warranty she bought will just take the bill you hand to her assuming shes not covered. Quit xxxxing around with people's money and do what your supposed to do.
So ultimately I had to have this dumb conversation with the service guy where he eventually realized I had bought it somewhere else and he went back in and filed the claim and I was covered. Wasted a bunch of both of our times in the process of course.
This is unacceptable. The onus is not on the client to tell Toyota what their coverage is. Its your responsibility to know.
On top of that the guy who checked me in and tool my keys was a complete rude xxxxxxx who just blurted demands at me like a caveman. Hes lucky I was in a good mood, next time he talks to me like that I'll give him a bad review.
The week before this appointment, Middletown Toyota had also screwed up by accidentally booking me for a daignostic when there wasnt even going to be a tech there.
Its too bad too because Ive had many good experiences at Middletown Toyota but not that day.
