I’m a North Brunswick resident and my neighbor told me... - Tonya J.
I’m a North Brunswick resident and my neighbor told me great things about Malouf, so I figured I’ll take a chance. Therefore I completed an application on line and called and spoke to a nice gentleman who made me feel very comfortable in scheduling an appt. So I came in and spoke to Rich, and he was very patient, kind, and professional. He alleviated my anxiety, and made my process of buying a vehicle “ a breeze”. I’m a single mother of 6, and he assured me he would get me the exact vehicle that’s needed to accommodate my family. Lastly, Rich came through and went above and beyond to ensure I was given the best vehicle for my family, and more than anything he exhibited excellent customer service!

This dealership is honestly absolutely fantastic. They stand behind what they sell and are willing to go above and beyond for their customers while ensuring they have the best experience possible. I’ve been doing a lot of research for a used car for a long while, and I ended up seeing Dave B on YouTube (subscribe to his channel Dave B Sells Chevy) which allowed me to see how transparent both Dave and this dealership is. Dave B very much cares for his customers and is always willing to show you anything you want to see. He’s very nice and will never push you to make a decision that you yourself wouldn’t want to make. Great guy overall and very very friendly. If you’re coming to Schumacher Chevrolet of Livingston go see Dave B!! Along my car buying experience I met Cory who works in the finance office. Absolute great guy! He too stands behind everything the dealership sells like Dave B. He explains all the numbers in your loan very clearly and also will not push you to add things (such as packages) that you yourself wouldn’t want to add. Both Dave B and Cory have been at that dealership for over 15, they know their stuff!
I very much appreciate the service that the both of you provided me with, and I thank you for being so transparent and kind! Thanks for hold up such a high standard and putting your customers first! I wish you all the best in your future!!!!

Disorganized, Unpleasant Experience - abaksh
Money isn't always the main issue, but principle is. The Service Department was great in repairing the peeling paint off the brand new corvette I leased a month prior. ( disappointing at best, however, not the dealers fault) Upon picking my vehicle up ( which I purchased as an out of state buyer) , I was told my plates finally came in 37 days later after delivery of the vehicle. My temp tag had expired by now. However, my vehicle would not be released to me unless I paid an extra sum of money due to the dealer underestimating my DMV fees. Which after adding the Random fees they throw in regarding tax and title, totaled to almost almost 1k. In addition to the $24xx I would be paying over the term of the lease. That kind of business practice is unexceptable. The fact that they waited for me to contact them regarding my plates vs telling me upfront was wrong. But now they had my vehicle too. This is a horrible way to do business. I wonder if I decided that the payment we agreed on was underestimated on my end, I'd like to pay a little less every month, would they agree to it after the fact? Highly doubt it.
In addition, the numbers agreed on when purchasing the vehicle, ( in writing mind you, were not originally honored, but later on they were after some negotiating, even still, this isn't what I was expecting from the Miller brand of dealerships.) I have purchased from their mercedes dealer, Audi, and never had these issues ) My goal here is to share my experience. These are all facts. I only hope they realize their mistake. It's getting tougher to find an honorable, reputable dealership. Good luck to anyone who is purchasing, educate yourself before stepping in.

I wrote a previous review about a returned lease turns out the dealer knew nothing about it, GM is the one who messed up my credit and charged me. I received a call from Manfredi's GM Anthony once he found out he acted right away and resolved the issue. I have been assured my credit would be restored to good standing and they will pay GM to clear this up.
I thanked them for their quick response.

Brought my C7 Corvette ZO6 in for an oil change. Got it back and noticed a small scratch in the leather of the steering wheel. Brought it to Christian the service manager and Carlos my service advisors attention. They were very professional and attentive. We ended up replacing the steering wheel to fix the issue. There was no blame no denial as to how it happened most importantly no arguing. Christian and Carlos turned what could have been a very negative situation into a very positive one and as a customer I truly appreciated it. There customer service was really top notch. They went above and beyond to correct the situation and make things right for me.

Service is less than desirable. On more than one occasion they caused damage to my vehicles interior. They ordered replacement parts, lost them on their premises and they never returned my calls, as they said they would. The last time this happened they blamed me, it cost me $175 to a third party vendor to repair the damage they caused to my seats. I will not go back there.
We went in to see a SUV with a listed internet price.... - rbrmjr
We went in to see a SUV with a listed internet price. When we went to buy, we were advised that there is an extra $5,000 fee added on to all used cars. This $5,000 would be used to replace anything that is below 50% on the car as well as perform an inspection to make sure that everything safe. This fee in itself is ILLEGAL as per NYS advertising law, the internet price is the price. Attorney David Kassel (Kasell Law Firm – 718-404-6668) helped us recoup our losses on the fee however here are a few other things that happened:
(1) We test drove the car and realized that there was a bubble on one of the tires – the SUV at that time had 4 Michelin tires. Unbeknownst to us, the two front tires were different than the rear tires – we were advised that they would replace the tire with a bubble. We then went to purchase the SUV and when we arrived on October 5th, the car had 3 Michelin and 1 Pirelli – the only tires that matched were the two tires on the rear. The two on the rear were designed for the SUV. The front passenger side Michelin was not compatible with the SUV and the Pirelli that Sunrise put on as a replacement was a different radius. We questioned the tires multiple times to Dennis (sales guy), Jonathan (the head manager at the time), and the head mechanic and were told that this was ok and that the wrong tires on an all-wheel drive car would NOT damage the transfer case. As we were not comfortable with the Pirelli on the car and 3 Michelin (which we believed matched at the time) we asked the mechanic what tire we should get for the front. He advised which one to get and wrote it down.
(2) We were told that the car had passed a safety inspection. We drove off the lot and as soon as we turned the headlights on, the car alerted us that a headlight was out.
(3) We noticed a few days later that the Pirelli tire that Sunrise Chevrolet put on also in fact had a bubble which implies that Sunrise Chevrolet put on a used tire instead of a new tire . We alerted the mechanic to this on the phone prior to bringing the car in. As Sunrise Chevrolet refused to provide a new tire, we were out an additional almost $400 for a tire that Sunrise Chevrolet should have put on in the first place.
(4) We again had to go back so that the mechanic could put the new tire on the car –however, the tire that the mechanic had advised us to get, was in fact the wrong tire. We were not told that there were still 3 different tires on the SUV – two which were not compatible with the SUV.
(5) In this time, we had noticed that the SUV seemed to have difficulty shifting between second and third gear. As the 60k service light came, we brought the SUV to a certified dealership so that they could run the scheduled 60k maintenance. While at the dealership, the technician advised us that (1) there were three different tires on the car and (2) this was causing the trouble with the car shifting between second and third. He ordered two tires for the front that were meant for the car in hopes that that would fix the shifting problem. Unfortunately even after he put those two tires on, the shifting problem was still there he advised and they had to replace the transfer case as again, this was a safety issue.
This is a vehicle that was sold to us that we were told passed safety inspections. In reality, it was sold to us with a bubble on a mismatched used tire, an additional mismatched tire, and a headlight that did not work. The mismatched tires caused the transfer case to malfunction as the car kept thinking that a tire was slipping as the tread/diameter was different. Sunrise Chevrolet advised that they were not responsible as no one had alerted them when we went to the certified dealership. We had brought the SUV in for a 60k maintenance and they would not give it back due to safety issues. Sunrise Chevrolet offered to “rectify” the issue of a vehicle with a lot of issues by giving us $500. We were out a good amount of money extra on things that should have been taken care of prior to purchase.
Great Job! - DBits
I went to Chevrolet.com and searched for a vehicle. The website gives you local dealerships first. After working with a few of them I had been aggravated and had lost interest, until i did a new search and scrolled down and saw Dalessio. I requested information and Robert the sales manager got back to me right away. When entering the dealership he introduced me to Vinny the sales representative. Vinny is like no other sales guy I have worked with. I have been doing this for many years, bought many cars, and have walked out of more dealships than I can remember. Vinny and I made a deal within 1 hour, and a very good one. No gimmicks. He made that clear when I was first introduced to him. After making the deal he told me to come back in a hour and half so they could get the paperwork together. I did just that. When I came back, I sat down with Ken in finance, and was finished in less than 10 minutes, again with no tricks or gimmicks. THEY WANT TO SELL CARS, NOT PLAY SALES GAMES! I will be back when I am in the market for another vehicle.
