What started out great turned into a nightmare...
Came in with the express purpose to test drive and see what our financial options might be. My wife and I never purchased a car before (just got the hand-me downs from our parents when we were teens), so we just wanted to know what we can expect on a used car loan from the dealership. We were clear that we would not be purchasing anything that day as we had other cars in mind to test at other locations. The first red flag was that they only let us "test-drive" around the building. The sales rep (Andy if I recall) was super nice and accommodating, and let us test drive 3 different car years. But when it came time to discuss what the financial options might look like everything went downhill. Second red flag, they asked us what our maximum monthly payment was even though we were very transparent about what our car budget was. Third red flag, they took our max monthly amount and instead of giving us the finance options on the car we discussed, they came back and wanted to sell us a car well beyond our budget and then played the sales game on us. We test drove the car, and expected they were going to slash the sticker price to something closer to our budget, we weren't expecting much but were curious to see. They didn't change the price at all and just maxed out the loan based on our maximum monthly budget. We were shell shocked. When we explained that it wasn't what we had in mind we were met with responses like "So you didn't like the car?", "But this is in your monthly budget!", "This car might not be here when you get back" and other statements and questions that deliberately ignored our intent and pushed us to seal the deal on a car we didn't ask for.
In the end, after a lot of coercion from them to purchase the car THEY chose for us, we left feeling abused and taken advantage of. As first time car buyers, it was an awful experience.

STAY AWAY! Purchased a 2017 Nissan Murano certified on March 23,2017. After they checked my credit, we agreed on a deal. Went upstairs to sign the paperwork, completely different deal. They tried to make the payment 40 dollars more. Ali the manager came upstairs to the finance office and tried to sell me on the new deal, so I started to walk away, then all of a sudden the original deal was available. But now they are not honoring the deal. I was supposed to get a remote start installed as part of the deal but no one will return my calls or emails. But the worst part is the radio has no SD Card. I have spoken to VP of sales Faqia R. several time, but she just lies to me and tells me someone will call me back to resolve the issues, no one ever calls me back. It wasn’t until three days later when I finally got a hold of Ali, he said the SD Card was on order and he will have my salesmen Javier Rodriguez call me to schedule the remote start install, but still no SD card. Javier won’t return my calls or emails.

After years of our family purchasing cars from Bridgewater Nissan, we are going elsewhere. They used to be fair and helpful, but now they are rude, disrespectful, and preposterous with the offers they will entertain. Cars purchased from them are bought back for pennies on the dollar leaving you with a huge gap to pay on top of the new car you're getting ripped off on. Vinny and Erik are particularly rude and could not make the process any more stressful. We went elsewhere and learned how absolutely wonderful and helpful dealerships can be.

Ive been going to Teddy Nissan for over 3yrs. These past few visits have gotten worst due to poor management in the service dept. My last visit they warrantied one bulb and charged 60 for the other. After complaining to the GM- the price was reduced drastically as the bulb itself was 5.00 Giving them the benefit of the doubt i returned today for an appt for a diagnostic on a noisy suspension I waited over 4hrs for my car to be dispatched to a tech, after that the verdict of my car having a clicking sound was due to swollen lug nuts. The service advisor Gordon never conveyed to me the repairs needed Instead he authorized the tech to change all 20 lug nuts without my consent. When i go to pick up my car i was charged over 268.00 The service reps and dispatcher mario made comments that i was the "crazy guy that always complains/ i didnt have that kind of money to pay"What type of buisness is this?.... very shady tactics and unprofessional attitudes I can tell this buisness has went in the wrong direction when shady tactics has to be used in order to produce the store more revenue. Im sure this place is losing customers daily. Bad buisness

But when it came time to cancel our lifetime warranty, which was our plan originally to do after a year, the office and the dealer, David Hershey, have been avoiding us. There’s so much lying and incompetence when it comes to filing documents at this dealership that we’re very close to filing a lawsuit against them. I've bought or leased maybe 20 cars in the past 25 years between me, my wife and my kids' cars. Not all dealers are as good as you hope for, but these guys are WORSE than you can imagine. The car itself is great, but the dealer is the worst that I can image. They owed me money on a trade-in (car was worth more than the amount I was putting down on the new car), and I made the mistake of taking delivery of the new car and taking their word that they would mail me the check for the difference (several thousand dollars) in ten days. That taught me a lesson I will use every time going forward...if they owe YOU the money, wait until you have the CERTIFIED check in hand before you take delivery of the new car. Well, ten weeks later and I'm still waiting for my check. Lawsuit being filed, all because some guy thinks he will outlast me and I'll give in and not demand my money. They are mistaken. So you know, they are affiliated with Elite Nissan in Bergenfield and Infiniti of Englewood...Jeff Liebler is the contact at Infiniti of Englewood who apparently sits on the checks and will be dragged into this lawsuit. To summarize: There are lots of reputable dealers, DO NOT choose this one to deal with. You've been warned.
