Today was my first experience with the Karp Kia service department and I was greatly impressed with the efficient and friendly service. The service advisor was personable and promptly checked me in. I really appreciate that my appointment time was honored. All work for my car was clearly identified. The waiting room was tidy and comfortable. With that being said, I was most pleased that I didn’t have a long wait for my car. This was a great first time experience!

I keep coming here for service even though I live in Yonkers and pass a couple of other Kia dealerships closer to me because I bought the car from here and most importantly, the service department is way better than any other Kia dealer I've visited. It is always never-crowded and Brian Nalepa makes you feel like a valued customer. He is knowledgable and very professional. He takes time to listen to your concerns, works with you to find all available discounts, and keeps you updated. I never feel rushed or forgotten and the work has always been done satisfactorily. Brian is one of the main reasons I keep coming back even though I live in another state.

Horrible place to buy a car.
I was hoping they were a brand new business because none of them know what theyre doing. But apparently theyve been open for a few years.
First they forgot to get copies of our licenses so we had to send them pictures, no big deal. On the way home from the dealership the traction control light came on the dash and it started shifting strange with the rpms jumping. Then the check engine light came on. All on the way home from the dealership. Not such a big deal, they told us to bring it back so they can fix it. We brought it back, they got the lights to go off, then a half hour after leaving the traction control light came on and it started shifting weird again. At this point the owner starts telling us that we have to call the bank and tell them the car is running good so he could get his money from them, we didnt wanna give the bank false information so we waited until it was running good to call them . The owner said it couldn't wait and we had to call them right away otherwise we would lose our down payment and have to bring The vehicle back, I called the bank and asked them if that was true, they said thats not true. They said they could wait until its fixed. The vehicle is under warranty but we didnt trust them to fix it at that point. So we brought it to a local garage and paid to get it fixed. They did it with no problem. Owner was supposed to reimburse us but that hasn't happened. Then we realize its past due for an oil change. Had to go pay for that as well. While getting the oil change at a local shop I asked to to look it over and let me know if they think it will pass an inspection. They found a coolant leak and an oil leak, then showed me the inside of the tires were worn down to the metal so theres no way it would pass. All laws say that vehicles have to be sold with good tires. We put 2,500 down and will be paying for it for the next 4 years, we trusted that it would be good enough to pass inspection. I asked the owner if he would get us good tires and he wanted to wait until the bank approved the loan. 3 days before our temporary plate expired they contacted us amd said the bank still needed more information. We gave them what they needed but didn't get a response until the day that our tag expired. Now its been a week since the bank approved the loan and the dealership still hasn't processed our registration or provided us with a license plate. The owner doesn't wanna talk about the tires, and we just got a letter from the bank saying they still didn't get proof of our licenses. After we gave them our licenses to copy in person, then sent them pictures of our licenses They still haven't sent it to the bank. Owner and employees are incompetent and disrespectful. We have bought enough vehicles in the past to know that something is seriously wrong with this place. As a father with 3 kids I truly wish I wouldve went somewhere else and I wouldn't want to see anyone go through this. The owner also told me this is just one deal for him and really doesnt matter to him anyway, he told me when its processed they won't be able to mail the license plate to me, ill have to drive 2 hours to go pick it up on bald tires. I'm really hoping he will replace the tires when we get there but he hasn't said that he will. He just avoids the question. I've literally never left a bad review on anything in my life but this is too much.

When I first came to this dealership I was told they were going to help me start my credit and put the car in my name, as long as I had a co signer and that I would get free oil changes. I wrote a great review, thinking my experience here was amazing! Once I got all my paperwork done the Car was NOT in my name. I was upset but didn’t let that change my opinion of them until recently that I went to get my free oil change. The manager told me that that was never said and he couldn’t help me while eating his kfc and watching tv. He seemed to not want to be bothered after I had waited in the dealership for about an hour just for him to show up. His unprofessionalizm was disgusting and disrespectful. They don’t own up to the things they promise their clients and all they want is to fool you out of your money. I will definitely never lease another car from this dealership and be way more cautious about trusting any salesman.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE I HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!
First, I had to wait for about 40 minutes even though I had scheduled an appointment.
Second, the lady at the reception tried to cheat and pull as much money as possible from me!
They drove in my car. Then, lady at the reception came and told me that I need to pay $525 for maintenance. Also, she told me I would have to pay $149 diagnostics fee unless I agree to fix my car at their place. I told her I want my car out since I don't like it. She refused to get my car out. She claimed it's inside and they can't do that. I insisted to stop the diagnostics and get my car out. It seemed like she agreed.
However, they lifted my car without my permission! Then, they checked what's wrong with the car. Mechanic came and told me they waive the diagnostics fee. He made it sound like I don't have to pay diagnostics fee no matter what. Then, he told me it would cost $750 to fix the car. It took me about 20 minutes to make few calls and realize it's super expensive! Moreover, they didn't have the right part. I would need to leave my car for about 5 days at their place!
I asked them to drive car out! However, the lady at the reception told me I would have to pay the diagnostics fee which is $149 even though I didn't authorize the diagnostics, and mechanic said they would waive it! They refused to let my car out! The lady tried to cheat me. She told me they performed the diagnostics before I told her to get my car out. However, I was looking at my car all the time. I saw that they did it after I spoke to the lady at the reception. Basically, she was lying to me and tried to cheat me!
Then, she told me they could check cameras. I was so happy to check the cameras! I hoped it would end this nightmare! She told me it would take 2 hours! At that moment, I felt so cheated that I was ready to wait the entire day to prove that I'm right! However, she wasn't going to check the cameras since she knew I was right and she was wrong. She only tried to threaten me.
I had to continue arguing with her about it! Eventually, after about another hour they released my car. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! NEVER EVER I COME AGAIN THERE!

I will never let this place service my car again.
Came in for an oil change and a recall on my Kia Soul. I was told by the service center advisor, Dwayne Lashley, that the oil in my car was black and he said that the mechanic could perform an engine flush but I had to decide RIGHT NOW before the mechanic starts the oil change. Not knowing any better and under a time constraint, I consented, then I started googling and asking my car-savvy friends for advice. It turns out, engine flushes are rarely necessary and usually recommended by skeevy service centers as a way to charge their customers more. Furthermore, engine oil turns black with use. It would have been better to hear from the mechanic himself and see how sludge-y my old engine oil really was.
Dwayne also recommended that I come in for oil changes more often--every 4,000 miles (my car manual recommends every 7500 miles or every year--whichever occurs first); that my car "battery health is at 0%" and needs to be immediately replaced (my car battery is 9 months old and always works perfectly); that my transmission needs to be replaced (last performed 15k miles ago), and I need to start thinking about replacing my tires (one year old, with fewer than 10k miles on them).
This experience convinced me that this service center does not care for their customers' best interests. I will never again bring my car to be serviced here, and neither should you.

Great people, horrible experience though.
After negotiating and having a great time talking with the staff, everything went downhill.. the numbers we were promised were no where close to what our contract said. The poor finance guy was the last to meet us at 8pm after everyone else was done for the day but they had taken forever to complete our paperwork (we had sent in all our paperwork since 8am, prior to getting there). We finally get the agreement and the poor guy can’t explain anything because the sales ppl gave us all the wrong information and he was stuck giving us the bad news that the numbers promised were all BS because no one calculated anything correctly.
At this point we had waited forever, and decided to take the car and take the higher monthly bill, as we were so done with our horrible experience.
But it gets better..
After 4 and a half months, I am finally getting my registration and plates. How does no one have the answer as to why it hadn’t been processed? How come I had to call millions of times and keep getting the run around.

Unfortunately this is my second time using their services. They are wonderful. They try and make a terrible situation into a better one as much as they can. They are helpful from the law aspect, to rental to loaner and of course their expertise - the car. Yes sometimes they are difficult to reach but it is worth the trade off in the end. I highly recommend them for their expertise as well as their personalities. A+ to Yossi and Zach and your staff.
