Excellent buying experience. Found a truck online at the dealership 3 hours away, was contacted quickly by Derek in sales after online inquiry and set up appt. He sent pics of scratches on the vehicle prior to making the long trip to be upfront. Whole process was smooth and sales staff was courteous. Would definitely make the trip again.

H.L. Stephens is a rural dealership with no bells and whistles attatched. They are honest, and there is no stress attatched when purchasing a new vehicle. My wife and I have purchased 17 new cars in the last 29 years. We have been to countless dealerships, and never have we been more satisfied with the experience that H.L. Stephens gave us. They are more than competitive with price, too. Our last two vehicles purchased were from there. Our last vehicle, a 2012 Ford Explorer, we ordered over the phone, not having to show our trade in vehicle because she trusted us. This was convienent. Most dealerships waste my time, looking under the hood, and telling us how terrible our trade is. By the way, this purchase with trade difference was $8,300 cheaper than Coccia Ford in Plains, Pennsylvania, and we spent 2 hours there wasting my valuable time. Most other dealerships give you a song and dance routine that I don't appreciate. We can't believe H.L. Stephens is no longer going to be in business after 96 years. My thought is Ford Motor Co. has pushed them out.

DISHONEST PRACTICES - Ras
I recently took my car in for an inspection. Car is only three years old and with low mileage.
Warranty has run out on parts like brakes, battery, etc. Was told that I needed brakes and rotors.
Had a feeling that this was not true. Took my vehicle to another station. Was told I DID NOT NEED brakes or rotors, and my car passed inspection. So sad when a dealership has to be dishonest in order to make money off of their customers. Also have been having transmission problems with my 2013 Ford Fiesta and have had the car to the shop FOUR times and car is not even four years old yet.

Royal Automotive heaps on the hard sell tactics. Not giving pricing, only asking what you want to pay per month. They will say or do anything to get the sale but after that they don't to hear from you. Need service, be prepared to wait for a week or two. During the sale they send in a wide array of people all with different forms, I had no less than 8 people, claiming they are all working together, but the end result is you don't get proper time to review what you are signing. That's where they get you, you will get bills for weeks after the purchase and end up with extended warranties you didn't want. After the sale they play dumb and say that everything should have been explained. But it wasn't. I am done with them
