Value Kia made a deal with me and took my down payment. I got insurance on my new car. They handed me the keys to my new vehicle, filled up the flat tire on it, gave us back the licence plate to our old vehicle.
We were there for 5 hours, ready to walk away 3 hours in before striking a deal. When the time came to finishl and sign the final paper, one of the managers came over and told us there was a problem.
Somehow through 4 different people the numbers and financing was done on a different vehicle. We test drove the right vehicle..the keys they gave us were for the right vehicle. The vin I gave to the insurance company was for the right vehicle.
So after everything was basically done they tried to get me to switch to a different vehicle or pay more for the vehicle we made a deal on.
Needless to say myself and my family were not having it. We had already wasted the entire day. I am 27 weeks pregnant and beyond annoyed. I was approved for the loan... Everything was done.
What Value Kia did is not okay. Their "up to 6500 dollar offer" is a b/s. Their vehicles are overpriced. They messed around with interest rates. THEY DONT VALUE THEIR WORD/DEALS.
Also they refused to give a refund to the cash that was used for a down payment till Monday, cause they dropped the money in the safe cause the deal was done. So now we have to waste more time and money to get our refund.
Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS DEALERSHIP! That sums up the opinion of this 11 year customer of Kia of West Chester. I bought 3 vehicles in that time and leased my last car 3 years ago. At the signing for this lease the finance agent at the time verbally stated and showed me the exact price I would have to pay if I wanted to keep the car at the end of the lease. Fast forward to the present when my lease term is ending. I decide that I want to keep the car and contact Kia of West Chester for assistance. For 2 weeks I asked for the buyout package to send to my credit union for financing. Finally, when I express my frustration of not getting this paperwork I'm quoted a price $1000 above my contracted buyout price. I'm put in touch with the GM Tom Burrows who tells me that it's Gov. Wolf's fault and that the dealership charges everyone $1000 and it wouldn't be fair to not charge me or to make decisions on a case by case basis. Thanks for valuing my 11 years as your customer! After some research I learned that Gov. Wolf did indeed allow dealerships to add this $1000 to the price of vehicles sold to help them through the covid-19 crisis, but it is voluntary for the dealerships (of course Kia of West Chester jumped on the opportunity to screw over their customers.) Thanks for looking out for the little guy, Gov. Wolf! But that's a topic for another time. I searched on Better Business Bureau website and found out Kia of West Chester has a D- rating. After reading other reviews of Kia of West Chester I guess that D- is well deserved. I searched other dealers and found one with an A+ rating and went there. My salesperson was super! I was treated as a valued customer, even though I was a new customer. They don't charge an extra $1000, but it doesn't matter because I bought a brand new Kia Soul and they have my well maintained, low mileage leased car to sell to another valued customer. I guess I got the last laugh this time, Kia of West Chester! Jim Sapala, you should be ashamed! Your dealership used to be a nice place to buy a car, sadly it is far from that now. BUYER BEWARE! I wouldn’t even give it a star but the sales staff is great! However the finance department is horrible! I was told that they would hold a check for 30 days they did not. They cashed it the day after I bought my car, It caused me bank fees, then they made me come down twice to fix it and write another check. Then they re cashed the returned check and luckily I had the money in the account I called several times to get them to give me my 2nd check back and the fees I was charged. They never called me back. When they decided to call back they told me that they don’t have my money and that I needed to prove that it was cashed in order to get my check back. I provided it and they still refused to respond I had to pay a fee to stop payment on a check that was going to be cashed even though they already had their money. My boyfriend had to go back down to get my check after they decided I was right another waste of gas for their mistake. I will never go back to that dealership and I will never recommend them to anyone. I wasted my time and my gas going back to fix their mistake I am disgusted with them and the way they made it seem like it was my fault plus I am out over $100 in fees because of them! I have never been so stressed out by someone not knowing how to do their job! I don’t appreciate being treated like crap! This is a disgrace to dealers!!!
