My family and I found a vehicle our new vehicle online and contacted the dealership in which we spoke to Patrick who was very helpful and allowed us to negotiate our price. Then after that the best sales representative I’ve encountered called, texted, and emailed us to reach out and setup the appointment. We then got there and he took very good care of us and handled our situation perfectly. One big feature for myself that stood out was allowing me to test drive the vehicle alone without anyone from the dealership, I think that allows me a huge piece of mind and allows me to be comfortable when driving so I can judge whether I like or dislike the way the vehicle drives. Then to top it drop he drove all the way back to our area which was 50mins away to allow us to handle our sale of the current vehicle. My wife and I went to buy a new car for me. We worked with Michael and we feel like he was a pleasure to work with. He was nice, up front, and knowledgeable. The reason we are giving Bob Bell 3 stars is because of the destination charge.
They were offering a dealer discount and when we got home to look at the paperwork something wasn’t adding up. The manager has applied the discount to the sticker price which is the MSRP and the destination charge together. After the applied discount, they added another destination charge on top of it. The discount should have been applied to the sticker price and stopped there since the destination charge was already included. We ultimately ended up paying the destination charge twice. Buyers beware of that and if you are then it’s not a bad place just don’t let them get you on it.

Under no circumstances buy a car from NuCar Chevrolet and if you do, DO NOT allow their unqualified service technicians to work on it. I took my truck in to NuCar Chevrolet in New Castle, DE to have the 02 sensor replaced. I was told at that time that my thermostat needed replacing. I authorized the replacement. When the truck was returned to me and while I was driving the truck home the temperature gauge was reading above normal. The next day I checked my coolant reservoir and found the coolant almost an inch below the cool line on the reservoir. This was after I was changed $20.30 for anti-freeze that I do not believe the technician put in my radiator. (I have a picture of the coolant level). I also question the fact that the technician actually did the road test because if he did, he should have noted that the temperature gauge is reading at just below the 3/4 line instead of just above the 1/2 line where it read before. (I have a picture of the temperature gauge) When I brought the truck back because I was NOT satisfied with the service, I was given a 9 am appointment. When I arrived at the NuCar dealership, I was asked if I was waiting for the truck and I said yes. At that point, I was told that they would not get to my truck until after a customer’s oil change. When I questioned that, the NuCar service manager, D. Aliberto, told me and these are his exact words, "That I could take my truck and leave IF I didn't like the way he was handling my complaint " This was said while the NuCar Service Manager was dangling my truck keys in front of my face!!! As far as I’m concerned the service manager at NuCar Chevrolet is totally unprofessional and unqualified for that job

He was very attentive and didn’t veer off of my desire to purchase a used 2017 Toyota 4Runner as I had done my homework for three days prior to coming into the showroom at Adams Chevrolet. In September 2019 I bought a used 2015 Land Rover LR4 from Hertrich of Easton, marking the 21st vehicle I have purchased. As an experienced and discerning buyer who comes from a family of car dealers and salespersons, I'm surprised to be writing a review of my experience. But the exceptional experience that I had deserves to be recognized to help assure other shoppers of the service they can expect at this dealership.
The salesman, Storm Sullivan, was personable, professional, honest, and authentic. He quickly arranged for same day transfer of the vehicle so that I could drive from out of town to see it. Without request, he sent photos to confirm it's arrival at his location, reassuring me I wouldn't waste a drive to the wrong place.
Mr. Sullivan also arranged for the vehicle to be detailed and awaiting my arrival, unlike all other used vehicles I recently checked out. All copies of the car history and other helpful documents were ready when I arrived. During the transaction, Storm was forthright, honest, and fair with me. We quickly agreed on appropriate pricing for the trade-in and vehicle transaction, and he swiftly expedited the financing and other required paperwork. While documents were being signed, Storm fueled up the new ride and transferred the license plates so it was ready to go for a long ride home. First thing the next morning, Storm continued his supreme service levels by emailing additional papers I had requested and confirming that he located the spare key and it was being shipped overnight.
I'm admittedly a highly critical and an excessively frequent car buyer who despises the typical process. However, this experience was ideal and the customer service provided by Mr. Sullivan was exceptional. I highly recommend the dealership and Mr. Sullivan to other shoppers.

After purchasing a 2011 Traverse we found a couple of unexpected mechanical issues with our vehicle. Keim Chevrolet, under the direction of Mike Keim and Scott Smith along with the service department, went out of their way to diagnose and fix these issues in a matter of days. Not only did they fix these small issues but they provided a courtesy vehicle for my family of 5 to make the cross-country trip to Iowa to visit my wife’s extended family for Thanksgiving while our Traverse was in the shop over the holiday weekend. The worst, The manager didnt even came out to greet or talk to you but told the sale guy that prices dont change even I had a quote from next door apple ford, waste of time and worst experience, I just got up and left. There are million dealer and by this behavior you guys will be out of business soon. I was treated way better with more respect at Apple Ford next door then here. Update as of May 26th, 2020.
On May 26th Ourisman Chevrolet of Bowie picked up my vehicle from my house, washed the vehicle, and made the second key at no charge.
I just had to pick up the vehicle later in the evening. They dropped off a courtesy vehicle when they picked up my vehicle but did not leave keys for the courtesy vehicle. The key technician completed the second key around 6pm. No one from the dealership notified me that the vehicle was done. I borrowed another vehicle and drove to the dealership at 7pm. Only the General Manager was still at the dealership, but he had both key sets. The dealership did not have a driver available to return my vehicle and bring back the courtesy vehicle. I drove back home and found someone to drop me off to my vehicle in order to drive it home.
The following day the Sales General Manager Michael called me. I briefly explained my experience, and he stated he would talk with the employee and that the employee could have handled the situation better. After our conversation, I believe that he listened to my complaint and took my concerns to heart. I believe that he will work with the employee to ensure others do not have a similar experience.
I purchased a certified pre-owned 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LTZ 4WD from Ourisman Chevrolet of Bowie at 16610 Governor Bridge Rd, Bowie, MD 20716 on May 6th, 2020.
After purchasing the vehicle, my salesman Dwayne Missick told me to come back Saturday May 9th to get the vehicle cleaned and pick up the second set of keys.
Before Saturday, Dwayne said that his dealership did not have the second set of keys. He gave me contact information for Ourisman Chevrolet of Baltimore to get the key from their dealership. After multiple calls over a week to multiple employees of Ourisman Chevrolet of Baltimore, they told me that they do not have the second set of keys and I need to work through Dwayne who sold me the vehicle.

If it were possible, I would give Damascus Chevrolet negative stars. I found the salesmen to be pushy and obnoxious. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Damascus Chevrolet for a car. I had trouble getting anyone to help me, either on the phone or when I sent an email. The sales people are unprofessional, and just rude. I was given false information about a car over the phone, I suspect just to get me to come in. Steer clear of this dealership unless you feel you need to be punished for something. They embody every negative stigmatism of the characteristics of a used car salesman. BY FAR, the WORST dealership I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I won't ever go back; unless of course I want to taunt them mercilessly. They don't deserve your business. Stay away!
