I purchased a car at Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley on... - Ryntj
I purchased a car at Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley on 9/4/2020 which was 6 months ago. I was promised a 2nd key with the purchase of the vehicle. It was written into my contract on the 17th page of the 19-page document (the WE OWE page). Although I have called countless times over the last 6 months and have even driven up there to speak with my salesperson and the manager, Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley has done everything in their power up to this date to keep me from getting this 2nd key or paying me the amount of the 2nd key. Three weeks ago, on Feb 16th, Jim the manager of Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley told me via text that he would send me a check in place of a key, but refused to tell me the amount. I haven't received it and decided that enough is enough! I have put in a complaint to the BBB. Before I pressed send, I called to speak to John Davenport who also signed my contract, but was told he no longer works there and actually got Jim on the phone. Jim asked me to withdraw the BBB complaint in order for him to withdraw the BBB complaint in order for him to send me a check. LOL that's not how it works, but thanks for that laugh! I'm hoping now that a regulatory body is involved, I will get what is contractually owed to me. Jim seemed way more upset that I contacted the BBB than that one of his customers has not been treated well by him, his staff, and his third party vendor(s). I never asked for any more than what I was owed and I have waited long enough. This was my first time dealing with a luxury car dealership....Far from luxurious customer service.
