I purchased a used Mazda CX-5. I had a pleasurable experience. The staff was helpful and my sales rep Henry didn’t pressure me. I was offered a reasonable price for my trade-in. I highly recommend making your next vehicle purchase from Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Frederick.

Poor customer service - teriberthold
I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service both during and after the purchase. I went to the dealership with the intention to purchase my leased vehicle, as the lease was up, and I needed to buyout or trade. I was told if I traded or leased a new vehicle, I would not have to pay the overage on the mileage of my lease. I decided to make a purchase of a new vehicle. I was limited on time and I wanted the salesperson to get together numbers and send me an email to review. I had an appointment, but she was adamant that it would only take a few mins. It took more than just a few minutes causing me to be late, I should have left at that time and not gone back. The salesperson asked me if the issue was her, cost, etc... the reason was is that I had an appointment and needed to go. There were 2 colors that I was interested in, but neither were on the lot and would have to be brought in from another dealership. I had to make a decision based on a very small square and pay $500 to get the vehicle brought in. It is very difficult to tell from such a small picture. My advice is to NEVER make a decision based on this and if there is more than 1 color you like, request both. The vehicle was picked up on Friday and would be available for pick up on Saturday. I picked up the vehicle and signed paperwork, which after further review I think I was charged for fees not reviewed and discussed. I had the vehicle less that 24 hours and saw the vehicle in the other color I was interested in. I texted the salesperson to let them know of my happiness with the inside of the vehicle but was very dissatisfied with the color. In my opinion a salesperson wanting the customer to be happy may have said, let me see if there is anything we could do, I got a simple "I'm sorry". In addition, to the above concerns, I mistakenly left my garage door opener in my car. I reached out and confirmed it was at the dealership. I offered to pick it up and was told by the salesperson that they would drop it off, that was Sunday and it finally got dropped off Thursday night.
Rude and Crude - Never again buyer here
RUDE AND CRUDE.I just leased a Equinox from another dealer. It was a one payment lease. I called Blaise, and told them what I wanted. The guy Rick or DIck or something told me I had to come in. I said no, I have leased a dozen chevys at least , and I know the game. I had already spent 2 1/2 hours at the other dealer, and wasn't going to do that again. Finally he agreed. It took a few days, but he finally worked me up a price, and it was a thousand dollars less, but it msrp'ed for about 200.00 more. I asked him how that could be. he didn't know. I asked him to send me a picture of the window sticker so I could compare. I got the sticker, and I looked and looked. Then right at the top, there it was. It was not AWD. I talked to him again, and he gave me a price on one that was AWD. That was about 5 days ago. He didn't call again till Monday, this morning, and he asked if I had thought about his deal. I told him he "should have sharpened his pencil" because I already bought the other one. Without another word, he hung up on me. I've been in business for 39 years and I can tell you that is no way one of my employees would handle a customer. That is RUDE! Run, stay away from them. He was like a spoiled kid that lost the game, took his toys , and went home.

If it were possible, I would give Damascus Chevrolet... - plumcrazy
If it were possible, I would give Damascus Chevrolet negative stars. I found the salesmen to be pushy and obnoxious. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Damascus Chevrolet for a car. I had trouble getting anyone to help me, either on the phone or when I sent an email. The sales people are unprofessional, and just rude. I was given false information about a car over the phone, I suspect just to get me to come in. Steer clear of this dealership unless you feel you need to be punished for something. They embody every negative stigmatism of the characteristics of a used car salesman. BY FAR, the WORST dealership I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I won't ever go back; unless of course I want to taunt them mercilessly. They don't deserve your business. Stay away!
False internet advertising/integrity - DisappointedConsumer
Prior to Aug 10th, 2017, I had been monitoring the Renn Kirby website for a new conversion van. On August 10th, I received a price watch update with the original sale price going from $38,008 to $37,008 on a van we had showed interest in.
Around August 13th, we decided to purchase this van and sent an inquiry via the website, since we are in Long Beach, Ms. I received an email from a Mason Garber, sales representative on Monday August 14th for initial conversation.
I gave him the stock number and told him I intended to fly into Harrisburg around August 28th to pu this van.
Via a phone conversation, I asked Mason what other charges were there to add to the price of $37,008. He stated the cost for a drive out tag, and registration fees of $139.00. I asked him to send out an itemized cost for out the door.
Later Monday August 14th, Mason sends me a total price of $39,471.89 and asked if we were financing or a check. I replied back and told him check but I needed an itemized cost.
To my shock, we are finalizing the deal and I am now informed the van is not $37,008 but $38,883.74. $1,875.74 more than the advertised price on the website. As well, the registration fees have changed from $139 to $545.
2016 vans had been advertised in the $38,000 range at Dave Aborgast in Troy Ohio at the beginning of 2017, another dealer that sells identical vans.
So this price did not look out of line to us.
While it was a great price, it is a price we have found elsewhere earlier this year. We were just not ready to pull the trigger at that time, since we were still entertaining a Class B+.
When a company sends me a "price reduction alert" via email (which I still have) dropping the price from $38,008 to $37,008 , then that is what I expect the price to be.
Raising the price to $38,883, without any acknowledgement of an error, is an integrity issue.
When a company tells me the other only fee is $139 and then raises that fee to $545, that is an integrity issue.
Sending an email simply stating the "out the door cost is $39,471.89...will that be finance or cash" was trying to hide the error, and slip an increase of the other fee past us.
The error in price and increase in the fee was only revealed when we pressed for an itemized break down.
They had multiple opportunities to reveal this error instead of just trying to slip it past us.
To date, not a word from this dealership. Integrity is of utmost importance and this dealer does not have it.
