Kudos to Michael Johnson, he was the one that sold the car to me! But, Joey Foust was the outstanding one to work with, he went above and beyond to make things right when I wanted to customize my 2019 Ford Mustang, he helped me with window tinting, and the selection of my new spoiler, and the ceramic coat which turned out awesome!... As promised. He is the man to go to if you are interested in modifying your vehicle in any way. He is professional, respectful, and very pleasant. He will help with the selection and offer fair pricing on the selection that you choose. I would recommend Joey at Richmond Ford West to anyone looking to update by modifying the car in any way. The service I received the day I purchased it, in Oct 2018 from their dealership has always been very professional. Joey is true to his word! If you have any ideas for modifying your vehicle I would recommend stopping by and talking to Joey.
Thank You, Joey, I will be forever grateful!

I am very please with the whole car buying and negotiation process. They even offered me to pay for uber. However, the price went up a little bit in the finance office and i had to try really hard to say no to any additional package. It was satisfactory overall.

No words can explain our disappointment . We bought a $47000 F150 4x4
because our other one was total by a bus . The truck saved my husbands life .
Now we have a issue not once not twice now 3 times in 2 weeks . NOW KEEP IN MIND MY HSBANDS A DIESEL MECHANIC HAS BEEN FOR 30 PLUS YEARS. HES ALSO BEEN TO 26 SCHOOLS . So here we go it snows the wrench come up we cant go into 4 wd . We manage to get home , we have the truck towed there , Lady whos there service manager corrects me saying my name is Judith not Judy or visa versa they don't have a loaner but a Ford small sedan , or we can call the local Enterprise my husband is 6-8 he dont fit in every car . So we call enterprise the only one she would let us use they call us back and tell us they have no cars to rent and dont know when . So we just use vehicle that we have at the house .
They call us that night tell us nothing is wrong . Okay I drive the 40 miles bring my husband back at night to pick up truck . 2 days later it happen again in snow so we manage to get home . I call get same rude lady she says theres nothing wrong my husband dont know how to use the 4x4 . I tell my husband what he says he calls her , he brings it back to her next morning . Mechainc goes in truck with my husband and he said she said you dont know how to use 4x4 so my husband informs that mechanic his background . Once again they cant find anything wrong but was told a third time Ford would get involved . She tells my husband hes turning dial to quick . He drives home . Now yesterday u could say the ____ hit the fan . It happen again we were at hunt club now we are stuck in the mud . I video the popping on my phone which my husband has on him . He drives up there this morning they say again nothings wrong , lady tells my husband we can take it to another dealer . Im on phone with my husband she approaches him I will wait to get off phone he says its ok its just my wife i will , she says NO when u get off the phone i will speak to you . Once again nothing they can do . MY HUSBAND KNOWS WHATS WRONG SO NOW HES WAITING FOR GM TO ARRIVE . Service manager should have had a class in customer service plus have some knowledge of the problem . MY HUSBAND SHOULDNT HAVE TO TELLTHEM WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED ! I WILL KEEP U UPDATED WITH OUTCOME !
Made an appointment three weeks ahead for a Takata air... - klandolt7451
Made an appointment three weeks ahead for a Takata air bag replacement. Called the night before to make sure my appointment was scheduled and that a free rental was available, and I was assured that a Ford Taurus would be available. When I showed up for my appointment, I was told that no free rental was authorized for my recall service. After making it clear that was incorrect, the service rep spent twenty minutes reading the recall bulletin only to find that a free rental vehicle was authorized. But then I was told that no vehicle had been reserved for my use and all rental vehicles were on a first come first serve basis and they were all gone. I asked to speak to the service manager and was told he was too busy to talk with me. I asked to talk to the general manager, but was told he was not in the building and there was no way I could talk to him by phone. I left the dealership disgusted with the way I was treated and will never go back to Cowles Parkway Ford again. What a disgusting place!

Nice people. Small town feel. Good selection.

Unfortunately, my experience at Ted Britt was awful; the customer service and communication was beyond pitiful.
I dropped my car off on December 23rd, received the service report from Richard, left him a voicemail to go ahead and start the work on my car .. four hours later after not hearing back, I called his direct line once more, left an additional voicemail, and called the general service number and asked if they could relay the message to Richard to go ahead and start my car. The woman told me that she could not do that.
I called the next day to follow up and try to get the message to Richard to do the work on my car, (mind you; $3,000 worth of work), and found out they were closed for the holiday (I support this fully, but as a previous employee of Pohanka Lexus who never closed, I was unaware that the dealership would be closed) and when I called the day after Christmas, I was told that Richard was off for the weekend. In what world do you work in customer service, know you will be leaving the office for FOUR days, and not check your voicemails / return calls before you leave?
During this time I once again called the general service number and asked that my message be relayed, I continued to be told no, and one kind woman even pretended to write down a message for me and told me a service manager would be in touch that day. I never heard from them.
On Tuesday December 28th, FIVE days after dropping my car off, I received a phone call from Richard who proceeded to tell me he hasn't heard back from me, I did not leave him a voicemail, and he's wondering if we should do the work on the car. I kindly told Richard I have REPEATEDLY left him messages in a number of ways, to which he responded with an apology and told me he would do better in the communication.
Richard followed up the next day to give me an update on the car (Tuesday the 29th) and said he would talk to us soon. This is the last time we ever heard from Richard.
On Saturday January 2, we called the dealership ONCE AGAIN, to get an update on the vehicle, and were told that Richard was out today and there was no one else we could talk to. After putting our foot down for lack of a better term, we were told someone else would call us back. The mechanic did finally call that afternoon to report the car was finished.
Richard NEVER followed up on this or closed out with us as his customer. On his business card, it lists Richard as an assistant service manager; I would have expected way better from someone with this title.
I am FLOORED at the fact that we paid this dealership $3,000 (WAY overcharged), and will NEVER give them the opportunity to work with me, or my family, ever again.

I definitely would give negative stars if i could. I have always been ford all the way from my mustangs to trucks but I wish the service center was like the one in Georgia. I will say the cashiers and office personnel are on point!! They are great and I would give them 20 stars if i could. That being said, now to the terrible experiences and us never coming back to this ford in Leonardtown. I will definitely send my complaints to the main ford facility as well.
When we moved here to Maryland we started using Leonardtown Ford for our services and repairs. I can do my own oil changes and maintenance but I have always enjoyed coming in looking at new vehicles while I wait. The first time was when the service center tried to sell a bunch of nonsense when my wife came in and they were extremely rude to her. I explained a known tailgate issue that ford has with its trucks and informed them of the damaged caused by the automatic tailgate release just dropping while driving. The service guy did not want to listen to my wife when she brought it in for the recall and began to argue with her about the damage to the tailgate when I already explained this in detail when I brought it in for service. We happened to be towing a trailer when the tailgate dropped while on the highway. At the time he told me that they can not cover the damage until a recall was issued to that particular part of the system. The next incident is one of their mechanics does not know the difference from a side marker and a parking light. I get this huge speech about how he has 20 plus years in the business and decided to fail that portion of the inspection. Don't get me wrong, I'm cool with fixing what requires fixing, but you mean to tell me that a 2017 extremely well kept mustang that had never seen snow until a few days ago that gets serviced at this dealership failed an inspection???? WOW.... They did want me to get all the repairs done there and change out that would cost over1200 bucks not including labor of course....smh. I understand that covid has hit alot of companies but to try to hit me in the wallet and argue with me about design features on the mustang is really low!! As the years go by, the side marker design is definitely been different on the mustang depending on what type of light fixtures is being mounted on that particular series. The location was different for my 2014 as well as my 2006 not to mention my 2017 and to argue with a customer about their own vehicles to try to make a quick buck is ridiculous. I tried to explain in detail to the mechanic and I guess if you have 20 plus years of experience you don't have to explain your ignorance to any customers and it's your way or the highway right?? My parking lights are in the front location where if you step to the side of the car you will not see them because it is the design of the 2017, but on that same side you will see the amber lenses on the actual headlights assembly because that is where ford put the amber front side marker. Definitely highly disappointed in this dealership.
Didn’t even fix car - GHinkle74
I left me company car at the shop for a week picked it up and everything that was wrong with it when I dropped it off was still wrong with it when I got home. I then had to drop it back off and have no car because they don’t have a loaner car. Who didn’t fix something and gives it back to the customer saying it was fixed. Very bad business.

DO NOT BUY AT FORD WALDORF (After 13 years and 3 vehicles)
Considered myself a valued customer until I took my 2017 Ford Fusion SE in for maintenance. My keys were left unattended and another customer took my car. A week later the car was found and my insurance deemed it totaled. Ford said they would make it right but only offered me $2,500 towards a new car. I filed a customer complaint with Ford Corporate and the complaint was sent back to Ford Waldorf to resolve. Of course, nothing happened. Shame on Ford's customer resolution system. I was wrong and I am warning ALL; Do not buy from the location at 2440 Crain Hwy. I don't see how they received their Presidential Award for exceptional customer service.

I bought my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8, I was... - Lawschool22
I bought my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8, I was told the truck went through a 125 point inspection. The truck has two spots that needed to go to the body shop and according to the salesperson (Johnny), it was already scheduled to go to the body shop on June 9, 2021. Your dealership kept my truck all day and did not fix the dent on the driver's side by the gas tank and yes it is in the paperwork. I also have a spot on my passenger's side front bumper, and they did not even buff it out or fix it, and again it was on the worksheet to be fixed. I bought my truck for the appointment at the body shop to stay with the scheduled date that was already set up. While I was at your dealership I spoke with Diego from used cars and express to him that the truck was riding funny and the steering was feeling weird. Diego assured me that the truck was fine. On June 10, 2021 (4 DAYS AFTER BUYING THE TRUCK), I had to get my truck towed in and had to pay for it out of my pocket (I HAD A 30 DAY WARRANTY BEFORE MY EXTENDED WARRANTY). I did call the dealership and under no circumstance did anyone ever offer to tow it, as a matter of fact, I was told I had to tow it myself. I was driving and all of a sudden the truck started making a really loud noise while I was driving on the beltway, my friend and I were so scared she was in the truck during this bad journey. I had to drive on the beltway in tears trying to move my new truck to me, so no one speeding would hit us. That is my first purchase ever as an adult and I would never think something so serious would happen (MY AXLE BROKE). Because I was so frightened I called my mom crying, she is disabled and was crying for me, because she was scared, she told me to try to pull over but you can't under the tunnel on 395. The truck was going up and down bouncing, by this time my friend and myself are traumatized being that we were getting off at New York Ave. NW, cars were honking and my truck stopped letting me steer it to safety. I have not been that way driving, since this incident. I am a Criminal Justice student about to graduate and now I am not comfortable driving my own truck. I have to drive twenty minutes extra just to go to my college when I need something from them, just to avoid the beltway. I have the toll truck driver's name he witness the ball joint was hanging off of my truck and I was told by the dealership it was the axle, I could have been hit and/or killed that's the reality. I keep hearing Diego saying everything is fine in my vehicle, I did not know he is not a CERTIFIED MECHANIC. At this time I really need to speak with the President of Malloy Ford or his or her contact information, or they could contact me because this is an extremely important issue that needs to be addressed. I would like to speak with the President, I am just enlightening you on the situation. I waited to make sure nothing else was going to happen to me in this truck, now my back door doesn't even lock. I took my truck to a Jeep dealership and was told my truck has 2 recalls on it, did they really sell me a truck with recalls, wow. Now as of 1/25/2021 no one will fix my 4 wheel drive transfer case and module. My 4 wheel drive light has been on since 10 days after I bought the truck and no one will fix it. I have sent emails to James Gardner and now he is gone, so I sent an email to all upper management and no response, they are Alison, Tim, and Tom. I bought a lemon, please help

I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. They understood exactly what we wanted, worked with us to get us what we wanted in our budget. Excellent customer service, they are available and work in a timely manner without being pushy like most other dealerships. They also gave us the best trade in value for our old car.
