after extensive searching on the web and 2 months of looking for a new F250 i was happy to find a nice lariet F250 with all the options i wanted at a good price of $57k. i called, spoke with a salesman whom confirmed the availability of the vehical. i told him i lived 4 hrs away so i need to know what the final out the door price would be , he would get with his manager . they called back the next day and told with a price of $67k, when i asked why the huge jump in price his response was, "well your not a First responder are you". So any of you 1st responders out there dont forget to get your $10k discount.

I recently purchased a classic car for my wife from this dealer. The salesman I dealt with was Garth. He was extremely friendly, straightforward and honest. Our transaction took place over the phone and Garth went out of his way to assist in the purchase and delivery of the vehicle. The car arrived at our home the next day and EXCEEDED all of our expectations! There were no surprises or problems- not one! The gentleman who delivered the vehicle (Jerry) was a sheer delight to deal with and talk to. I would highly recommend these folks and will deal with them again in the future.

From the moment we arrived at the lot and were greeted by Shea, the salesman, it was a good experience. He listened to what I was looking for, made some suggestions and showed me several cars. None was exactly right, but he didn't give up. He showed me another car and it was more than I was looking for both price wise and accessories. But it was perfect for me. They worked out financing so I was comfortable and the rest is history! Jojo was great in financing. There was no pressure to buy extras I didn't want. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Shea was friendly, funny and knowledgeable.
Jeep Liberty Lemon - Lemon Jeep
Bought a Jeep Liberty with a trade in in July 2017. Had to made several trips to get the plates and Jeep ready for me. Kept me waiting and not organized. Put around 3000 mile on the jeep and the engine is shot. Spent over $4300 in replacement engine and labor. Selling lemons not Cars!

Wanted to be certain A-1 would accept our offer which was lower than their asking price, (maximum $3,200) on a vehicle before we came over with the cash to buy the vehicle. They assured us IN WRITING (per my request), and then when we came over with the money, the salesman ("Wally", who is the typical used car salesman personified), told my husband that would not be possible. DONE! Stay away from WALLY AND THIS USED CAR PLACE BECAUSE THEIR WORD MEANS NOTHING!

On 3/20 I reached out to A1 Auto in regards to a 2005 Nissan Murano, I was told on the phone by Katie Johnson that the price was $4,995. After days of "repairs" and "inspections" we arrive to purchase the vehicle on 3/23. We met with Christa Pellott. Christa avoided showing us a price break down of the deal. When she finally did the sales price of the vehicle was changed to $6,995. Christa claimed the $2,000 extra was what the finance company (Credit Acceptance Corporation) decided the price of the car should be. I wasn't comfortable with that so I left and contacted the finance company, I spoke with Alexis at 1800-634-1506, who informed me that they do not determine the sales price or charge any additional fees. The ONLY charge from the finance company is the finance charge itself (APR). When I contacted A1 in regards to the deception I spoke with a "manager" Scott Henderson who again lied to me by stating the $2,000 came from "fees" they incur from Credit Acceptance Corporation. Scott refused to provide a breakdown of said fees incurred on the specific vehicle we were looking to purchase. He then asked me repeatedly if I intended to purchase the vehicle from them or not.

I have been looking around for a while now, for a reasonable and affordable car. Every dealership tried to push cars that were just too much for me, cost wise. It's a good thing I didn't buy with them, because I found the right car for me at D&S. They were able to work around my credit and give me the best deal. They are very friendly and down to earth.

The experience was and still is, awful. From the moment I walked in I knew better than to continue. After 6 HOURS waiting for the "buy here pay here" approval I was told lie after lie about the car, the financing and the down payment. I went from a $200 deposit from one employee to a $3k deposit from Doc, as the staff changed so did EVERYTHING about the information!!!! Ironically a $3k trade in quote was reduced to a $1200 trade in quote, I owed $3k on the trade) I overheard Chris on the phone with Doc telling Doc, "if she doesn't pay even one day late I'll pick that car up myself" followed by "what's your read on her, is she worthy-(laughter)" I was SO offended, and I should have walked out! On more than a few occasions I felt like walking out. The car I was buying was taken off the lot and driven 60 miles to an auction while I sat in the office signing papers. This was the absolute WORST experience, the most unprofessional staff. In 2 months they withdrew 4k from my bank account, the staff wrote the contract wrong causing multiple payments that the REFUSED (and to this day, refuse) to correct. Even today I spoke to the staff who told me "we don't change contracts, anymore" This should have been rectified in February when I first brought it to their attention!! I pay biweekly, EVERY WEEK I get a collection call, I've never missed one payment, not once! I even spoke to Chris when I walked into make a payment in the Front Royal office who gave me his business card and assured me HE would take care of the problem. He refused to pay off the trade until I made the $3k down payment that was stretched over 3 months ($1k/ month if you're counting) and all the while he allowed my 5 year loan to Capital One to become delinquent. Personally, they don't care who they are affecting as long as they are getting paid! After 4 months of owning the car, the water pump had to be replaced, $900, the car keys had to be programmed at $80/each because the dealer refused to have that done, meaning one car door was always unlocked (as a security feature) I am currently selling the car as I cannot take one more moment of this awful company, BEWARE... It's a huge rip-off!
