I am from Guam and because of travel restrictions I couldn't travel to the US mainland to purchase my dream car a 2019 Grand Sport. I had a lot of anxiety about purchasing a used car without seeing it 1st hand; however, after speaking to Eddie Thiree he went out of his way to get all the information needed third party information, the original build sheet from the manufacturer, etc. to make me feel comfortable about buying the vehicle of my dreams sight unseen. The greatest thing Eddie did was a 30-minute walk around via WhatApp live video of the car showing me all the paint imperfections, scratches on the front splitter, scratches on the door, etc.. When the trucking company showed up he also filmed the car being loaded from start to finish and also followed all the instructions necessary for the delivery to the port in Los Angeles. I would recommend Eddie to all my friends!!!

My experience with Haley Chevrolet was excellent; from my initial inquiry through financing and delivery of my 2021 Malibu RS it took less than a day. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. Thank you all and especially Corey Chapman who delivered my car and went through the paperwork with me. Definitely a 5-star experience.
I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership.... - Keri B
I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership. Ever.
We drove an hour and a half to Lindsay Chevrolet to see a Bolt EV. We had both spoke to someone earlier that day who said the car was there, it was the price online and it would be ready for us to test drive.
Surprise surprise when we showed up and:
A. The car wasn't even there, it was at another dealership 1.5 hours away. But supposedly on the way to us.
B. The price listed online was with undisclosed incentives. We got baited into coming in with a price that they would never give us.
Our salesperson was good. He was nice, friendly, personable and seemed to understand our situation in the end. The sales manager, Miguel, however was extremely pushy and would not take no for an answer.
While talking about the price, he said he was there to help us find a good price where we would be happy. And if we didn't come to an agreement, we could "shake hands and walk away."
We couldn't come to an agreement on the price. We politely declined the offers 5 or 6 times and asked for our licenses and keys back. He just continued to push us and refuse to give our things back. We had to threaten to call the cops. They were legit trying to hold us hostage and coherce us into buying a car for $10k more than advertised.
It's not a good sales practice any longer where you don't take no for an answer. I shouldn't have to demand my keys and license be returned to me that many times or threaten to call the police. Miguel clearly doesn't understand the word no, which does not make him a good salesperson who plays hardball. It's abusive and unacceptable in today's society.
We had a budget, we had the cash for the car at the price listed online, and you all tried to scam us for 10k. This dealership is shady.
They also are not practicing good covid guidelines. People were walking around without their nose covered or even no mask at all. The salesman went on the test drive with us. We've been test driving EVs for a few weeks now and no other salesman has come with us. Someone moved my personal car in the lot while we were on the test drive without my consent. I did not give anyone permission to enter or use my vehicle. The seat was moved, it was in another spot than where I had originally parked it. That is completely unacceptable. What if that person has covid and is not showing symptoms????
I'll be contacting Chevrolet about this dealership as well.

I finally bit the bullet and got the car that I have had my eye on for a while. I delayed and delayed until I was forced to get a new car. I had my mind set on a particular color and model, and they did not have the black color I wanted but a white one. Madelyn Dunlevy and Mr. Rupp made me at ease, explained everything, and I finalized my purchase feeling wonderful and pleased. Although the process was long, Madelyn and Mr.Rupp made the process amazing. Highly recommend.

My comments are about the service dept. On 7/14/20 we had... - danderson0909
My comments are about the service dept. On 7/14/20 we had our 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Diesel towed to Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Staunton Va on a Saturday. Service dept was closed. The coolant temp gauge had went near hot. Sunday, I drove back and check the coolant level, saw no leaks but was low on coolant. I added almost 1 gallon of water. Monday morning at 9am I explained exactly what had happened to the service advisor Roger Cook and mentioned that I had read online that the EGR cooler had been a problem on these diesels causing this very same symptom. Got a call from Roger 2 days later that we had a blown head gasket, they had test drove the jeep and white smoke from the exhaust. Repair estimate $5200.00. 1,647 miles out of warranty at 101,647 miles.I asked for a good will adjustment from the area rep through the service manager, Kevin Hanson. He said it was flat denied by the area Jeep rep. I also mentioned again about the EGR cooler. The service manager stood by his mechanic's decision and stated that they had already tested for that and that the EGR cooler was just fine. I mentioned to Roger again about the EGR cooler problem...he said no need to check that because exhaust was in the coolant system. We then decided to move our Jeep for a 2nd opinion and took it to a nearby trustworthy dealership that was 30 miles away. So when I had came to pick up the Jeep, there was no mention of anything they had done "test wise" to the Jeep. No antifreeze added, no mention of test drive, pressure test...nothing. Again, no info on the repair order. I asked for a description. The service writer just scribbled down with a pen on an estimate sheet these words....Test drove vehicle approx 10 miles, found smoking from tailpipe, block tested cooIant system and found combustion in cooling system. I refused the repair and asked to talk to the service manager. He was the least bit customer friendly and basically had the "take it or leave it attitude". We then had it loaded onto the flatbed wrecker...of which there was NO white smoke from the exhaust and only 4 miles on the speedometer...all when they said they test drove it for 10 miles! It was obvious they had done nothing to test it but just wanted to totally rip us off by charging us $5200 for a repair that was totally not needed at all! We had requested that the area Rep, Allison, call us to discuss her decision to decline us any help...but she never had the decency to ever call us back...which really makes "Jeep" itself look bad from employing someone like this.
I then had the Jeep towed to Dick Meyers Chrysler Jeep in Harrisonburg Va. and talked to service writer Katie Lambert. She knew her stuff and said they had replaced several with the EGR cooler problems with the same symptoms. Had to wait a week to get it looked at BUT WHAT A DIFFERENCE! EGR cooler was bad...Surprise! And get this....it was totally covered under warranty at no charge. Great people with experience and they take notes. Over 1,000 miles since the repair. Runs great!
Valley Jeep in Staunton either has a terrible diesel tech, a unwilling or uneducated service writer that doesn't take notes, a service manager (Keven Hanson) that knows little about cars and is easily fooled by his techs and service writer, OR they just like to charge folks for things that just don't need!!! Don't be fooled by the appearance of a new dealership. We will never go back to the crooks at Valley Jeep in Staunton, VA nor will we ever recommend it to anyone else! Dick Meyers in Harrisonburg, VA is extremely trustworthy and truly takes care of its customers. Bottom line....always get a 2nd opinion when presented with such a high cost estimate!

Reynolds really is a gem of a small town family... - IdontwanttodieinaMalloyford
Reynolds really is a gem of a small town family dealership, like they used to be. You can feel the tradition here because they've been around since 1938 so it's 100% authentic. If you could bottle up this experience, dealerships in bigger markets would desperately want to sprinkle this magic all over their showrooms and service departments, but that's impossible. I'm nostalgic because I even bought my first car here as a teenager off the used car lot. Even though it was a VW it's what I could afford at the time! If you live in the Orange area the smartest thing to do is buy a GMC, Chevy, Buick, Cadillac or Subaru. Since you'll get to so conveniently get expert service or do warranty work on it locally without having to drive over 20 miles to surrounding areas for other brands. But even with other makes you can trust their service and body shop or putting tires on your sports car or getting inspections done, it's all painless, friendly and you can trust the techs, the service advisors, the shop manager, the young lady that reminds you of an appointment the next day, the sales team, the family owners who actively work there everyday. Everyone here you can be assured they care about you the customer and your car, suv or truck. Any issues that do rarely arise they will go to unexpected lengths to make it right and you driving away happy in the end. In a small town you're not just another anonymous profit generator or sale. You're part of a community where exceptional businesses that have figured out what it takes to stay successful for over 80 years take pride in their personal customer service provided at a very high standard. Good reputation is everything in a place where everyone knows everybody and Reynolds has a great one in spades.
I recently had one of the best overall vehicle purchasing... - aakendrick
I recently had one of the best overall vehicle purchasing experiences of all time at Battlefield Chevrolet. At 10 pm on 16 August 2020, I decided to send a request for additional information to the dealership. By the next morning, I got a call from Mike the sales manager. I let him know I was looking to make a deal on a nice looking 2020 Camaro 1LT Convertible and wanted to broker a trade of vehicles. However, I didn't plan on driving 69 miles to Culpeper, Virginia, and spend hours at the dealership just to disagree on numbers and drive back 69 miles. So any deal we make got to be sight unseen until we can tentatively agree on some numbers. I sent him pics of the VIN, odometer, exterior, and interior of my car, and by 11:45 am I had a deal in principle that was in my wheelhouse making Battlefield Chevy the winner of my then 2019 Corvette Stingray with 6800k miles. Once I arrived at the dealership the entire process to drive off in my new Camaro took 1hr and 15 minutes thanks to Ralph. The GM, sales manager, sales rep, sales manager, and finance were on top of their game and in sync from the initial response to my request until I drove off. My new car was clean, polished, fueled, and sitting out front ready to go like I was royalty. They even gave me a heads up where the local PD's speed trap was located just in case I decided to open it up a bit. The dealership was clean, personnel professional, and welcoming. I almost didn't want to leave! Now I wish I had ordered my C8 Corvette from Battlefield Chevy because they earned my business and I will gladly purchase another car from them in the future and definitely would recommend them to anyone in the country that looks for some of the same things I look for when purchasing a car; A feeling that my business is important, transparency, timely interactions, and transactions, ensuring the customer has a say in their purchase experience at the dealership and online. Another reason I like Battlefield Chevy is they are training and mentoring their future sales reps in their business processes in real-time by let them see the interactions with customers.
Good dealerships sell cars, Great dealerships attract excellent leaders, and excellent leaders, develop outstanding sales reps that influence a community. Outstanding sales reps, never have to sell a car.
Thanks to Carol, Mike, Ralph, Jessica, and the Battlefield team for a GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE!

Matt Langsam, thanks for an easy car buying experience. I was nervous about buying an electric car but you convinced me with your knowledge of the product. I’m excited about the Bolt, I love it’s premium package and it’s the perfect commuter car! We will fiscally save $8600.00 dollars the first 3 years we own it. And, it’s fast when you need it to be. I don’t feel like I’ve sacrificed anything by giving up a gas powered vehicle. And, I really like the idea of going green for the environment. Thanks for everything and we enjoyed working with you!
Tedd Britt Chevrolet (Sterling, VA) and General Motors... - I fear for my safety
Tedd Britt Chevrolet (Sterling, VA) and General Motors has given me the run around. They have shown gross negligence by refusing to replace my newly purchased 2020 Silverado 1500. I have been tossed around from manager to manager, from advisor to advisor. Nobody wants to be the one caught with the customer (me) in a potential lawsuit:
I have put less than 15,000 miles on the vehicle, hardly owned six months. First owner. The vehicle has been in FIVE TIMES for various electrical issues including brake system failures (x3), and most recently the vehicle shut off while I was traveling +60mph. I fear for my safety. See attached invoice photos.
Their staff sees you as a number - a price tag. Their “Customer Experience Manager” did not even look at me, he talked over me, and downright refused to help me - would not even give me the customer service phone number. He said it was not his problem. Incredible.
Don’t waste your time, or your safety. Buy a Ford.

Their service team, is 5 stars, I just want to make that... - DC1291
Their service team, is 5 stars, I just want to make that clear. However the experience that one salesperson gave me when looking to buy a new truck ZERO stars. When buying a new vehicle, you negotiate. To find a right price that works for you and the dealer. I get sometimes people can’t come to an agreement, but I didn’t even get that far. The guy I worked with pretty much tried to kick me out after my (first) offer. He came back and said “we can’t do that, have a nice day” with the tone of “get out”. He didn’t even sit back down he just stood behind me like he was going to help me pull my seat out to help me leave. As the consumer, I felt like I had to force the negotiation to continue, but you could sense the lack of interest in trying to help. There was no counter offer, no seeing if there was any other options, nor asking if I had money to put down (which I did). I had to initiate everything I felt, but after awhile. The lack of interest and unwillingness to want to help. I gave up and just left, went to another dealership and who was able willing to negotiate with me and now I own a new 1500 Silverado for a good price.

I will not be recommending Joe Bowman. Customer service is so poor on so many levels. New purchase on vehicle that needs repaired and taking months to schedule. Being told you will be contacted about other services issues for months and never receiving a phone call back after countless attempts of stopping by and calling to receive answers and then treated poorly.

Avoid This Dealership- Incompetence Abounds - car123
This is an honest, straightforward review of my experience at this dealership. I found a used vehicle on their website that I was interested in, and in all fairness, seemed like a good price. I was torn on if I should purchase the vehicle in Virginia because I was relocating to another state soon. I really preferred to get the vehicle here because I would need a vehicle to get me up to my new state and, again, it did seem like a fair price online. I figured before going in, I would call the dealership to discuss the challenges that move might bring about (registering, paying taxes, getting tags for new state, etc). I was assured that there would be no issues whatsoever, and they could register the vehicle for me easily to the new state and that they "do it all the time." When I got to the dealership, I reiterated that I would only be interested in the vehicle if they could in fact register it to my new state and that I wouldn't have to jump through a ton of hoops to do that. After all, you pay all the fees, so you expect the dealership to do their part to make it a convenient and easy process. That part aside, I test drive the vehicle and then meet the used car manager Shane. Mind you, this is supposed to be a reputable, big time car dealership, but Shane could have easily come from a shady used car dealer on the side of a random road. He is a fast-talking, not look you in the eye type salesman. He clearly got annoyed when I asked direct questions about certain fees or wanted to negotiate on price. How dare the customer ask for a better price or want answers as to what the many dealer fees are. I didn't come with some ridiculous price and am a very reasonable person, but the guy just had a bad attitude. Simply put, he is not professional and I can only imagine the way some people could be taken advantage of having to work with him.
Then came my trip to finance. The finance manager, Sunny, was not any better to work with. I should have walked out when I realized the finance manager had a problem doing simple math. He also had a bad attitude and actually mentioned to me that he cut his lunch short to come help me and was not happy having to do so. Then, after all this time at the dealership, Sunny lets me know they won't be able to register the vehicle to my new state, which they had repeatedly promised they could do to this point. The finance department blamed the sales department, and then the sales department blamed the finance department for issues. Some employees were pointing the finger at the used sales management and team and called them out (to me) about how they are not good at their job. Simply put, I was lied to or mislead numerous times, by folks in every department I worked with, and I was rightfully angry. Again, I am reasonable and kept my cool, and I felt I was still getting a good price on the vehicle, which is the majority of my concern when purchasing a car (price). So, I went forward with the process I spent 6+ hours at this dealership which is absurd. Sunny joked that this was the longest car sale he's seen, but I didn't find it funny. I do feel like they wasted a lot of my time, and again, at each turn, incompetence was uncovered. I may have to put some of the blame on myself for not leaving sooner and subjecting myself to the circus at this place. There is more to this joke of a trip to the dealership, but just suffice it to say that I would never recommend anybody purchase a car from here. It really felt like this was the first vehicle they had ever sold. It felt like nobody really knew how the car sales process worked which led to time wasted and bad attitudes throughout. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Website has no prices for most cars. Must call or email... - Daisy400
Website has no prices for most cars. Must call or email dealer. You email and inquire on their site and you do not get prompt responses if any response at all. While you are waiting for a response to numerous emails you have sent regarding a certain vehicle, you will receive form emails from Angie Long asking. "Am I emailing too much?, I'm here to answer any questions you have". Yet, you never get an answer to availability or price. After over a week of numerous emails to them , you will finally get an email that the vehicle is no longer there. They are constantly putting cars up for sale on their site that are not for sale, but that have been sent to auction due to Maryland's strict inspection policy. These cars remain on their site even long after they are gone. Very poor internet sales department, very poor customer service.

Horrible excuse for service personell. - tokheim39
My Silverado pick up broke down on I 81 North on Sept.12th. Since the truck was covered by the GM Extended Warrantee, it was towed to the nearest Chevrolet Dealership for service. That was Elliott Chevrolet in Staunton, Va. They worked on it and called when it was done. They informed me that the repairs were not covered by the GM warrantee because they feel that someone, " has been inside the engine compartment doing repairs and leaving loose bolts, etc? I tried to assure the Service Manager that this was the first that I was aware of this and didn't think the it was correct? He still denied my claim. I was forced to pay the charges to release my truck and drive it home. I then went to my home town dealer, where I have purchased 11 Chevy cars and trucks, to get their thoughts on the matter. They basically agreed with me that the repairs should have been covered and gave me written proof of that. I then contacted the Elliott Service Manager and faxed the new info to him. I called Chevrolet Customer Claims and opened a claim for reimbursement. Today, I received a call from the Chevrolet Claims Supervisor stating the Elliott Chevrolet Service Manager is standing by his opinion and is denying my claim, once again? It makes a long time Chevrolet customer, buying new Chevy's since 1966, question why you would buy the very best extended warrantee, with a new vehicle, and pay a lot of money for the coverage. Then the one and only time you have an issue, the Service Manager in a Dealership thinks he sees something amiss and denies any help. As far as he is concerned.....Case Closed! When did these guys get to act like little the complete judge and jury? Beware of this Dealership. You might get burned as I did. Trouble with my case is that I truly did nothing wrong nor did I have reason to believe that the warrantee would not be honored?
