This Kia dealership is awesome. When I drive up to the Bay Area, I was me by an associate and told them I had a 9:00 appointment and they knew who I was. The associate had my recall paperwork. They have always been superior. Checking in and checking out. My appointment for a recall was told it could take up to 4 hours. I was there only for hour and half. i will come to this Kia location for all my needs.

My mother was blatantly disrespected by the staff of this location. Specifically a service writer named Nicholas. He left her a voicemail berating her and telling her never to come back. I brought this to the attention of the service manager Mark and after a week of trying to get ahold of him, he has now stopped responding. I work in hospitality management and I would never allow employees to act in this way, it is a shining example of how poorly this business is run. The Cappy family cares about nothing but profits. Please heed my advice and take your vehicle somewhere that respects you and the money you are spending with them.

James Johnson provided the most excellent customer service today when I needed a warranty repair on my 2017 kia soul, and he wore a face mask indoors. Sadly, I can't say the same for his coworkers. One did not wear a mask at all, another wore it under his nose, one had a face shield which does not block aerosolized droplets at all (covid can spread through breath droplets, y'all!)... The guy with a face shield completely ignored my concerns when I asked him to wear a mask. He just walked away and said he would get my service advisor. Thank goodness my service advisor happened to be James... I only go to the dealership for a repair if it's under warranty. James helped make it a great experience, but I'll never go back to this dealer to pay for any repair service. *I live in Decatur where masks are mandated, but there is no mask mandate in Chamblee at this time.

I looked at the reviews and most of the bad ones focus on the service dept. This is another failure in that area. Maybe it is time to replace the people working in that area!
Make sure you verify everything they said they reported they did to carfax. My carfax stated Kia Carland did complete inspection on vehicle as well as replaced the engine air filter and the cabin filter. My wife and I loved the used 2015 Sonata we bought from them, after we got home with it I checked the engine and cabin filter and you could tell they were full of dirt and trash. I then took the car to my local Hyundai dealership and found out it had a busted cv axle. My dealership was not sure they would be able to cover it under warranty since it was just the boot that was busted, so it could cost up to $700. I notified Kia Carland and they told me they would only reimburse me what it would cost them to repair. Fortunately, my dealership(Autonation Hyundai of Columbus) was able to get the cv axle replaced under warranty so I no longer have to deal with Kia Carland.
