FRAUD!! CHEAT!! UNETHITCAL! Stay Away!I leased a vehicle... - Rocky
FRAUD!! CHEAT!! UNETHITCAL! Stay Away!
I leased a vehicle through a broker and I reside out of state. The paperwork was done via Fedex. After 14 days or so when it showed up on BMW website I noticed that my allocated mileage was 30k instead of 36k. Upon deep diving and rechecking the executed paper I noticed that my signature was forged and numbers were altered. This deal was conducted via a broker. The car was to be shipped to me.
OMAR Saleh -The Sales Rep- - Stop paying attention after deal was done. I had to contact again and again to get the vehicle shipped to me. He sent me paperwork with forged signature. Never sent the title work to MY DMV after promising. I had to send mails again and again to get the copy of executed paperwork.
Jason Diaz – Called and lied pretending to be the co-worker boss to cover up the forgery. Lied that GM is aware of situation. Lied that BMW is correcting contract and lied that employee will be fired.
Scott Smith (GM) - Did not take any action on the employee who conducted the forgery and made me deal with the same employee throughout the process. I spent more than a month sending email/phone calls. On the calls he sounded like it was not a big deal. Big part of the problem.
Michael Perez- Finance Director- Forged my signature, kept on sending paperwork with mistakes to me. Delayed every step of the process and had to be pushed all through even after committing the forgery. Got away with no punishment what so ever.
In the end- My miles was corrected. The money that they were trying to pocket was added to my account and hence payment was decreased by $25 per month. No compensation was given for the ordeal that I had to go through. It took 1.5 month for this to sort out. The employee involved was not disciplined and got away with the mess.
I am not sure how many other they have done this to. I was lucky to check the information else I would had discovered it after 3 years during turn in.

I love BMW of Athens and Joe Coleman. Great Service and friendly people! My advisor was Daniel Cornell and my car was inspected by Dave Kiel. Both did a great job!

Luis Olmos is the person to see. Very knowledgeable about the product and he is also a BMW genius. Purchased 3 cars from Taylor. The deals were fair and they were very upfront. The waiting room is brand new and service from Wendy, Keith and Rocky is the best. They are more than accommodating. With follow up from the service department.
For the second time I feel like BMW of Columbia has... - jlmayers0908
For the second time I feel like BMW of Columbia has shifted me! Long story short I initially purchased a 2015 X3 that I specifically asked to have certain features. I think the vehicle is defective only to find out that the features I asked for were never on the vehicle to start. I tried to resolve this by calling and speaking to my sales person only to find he was no longer there and was assigned a new rep. He was no help so I blasted them in a review online. I finally got the attention of the GM who at the time seemed to be appeasing. He placed me in a 2016 X3 that had what I asked for from the beginning. Well fast forward to Sept of 2020 and the car has electrical issues that the dealership can't seem to repair even though they kept my car well over a month. I get my car back Nov of 2020 and the only one repair was fixed.
Dec 2020 I'm driving and the vehicle loses power without warning in traffic. I was lucky enough that I was not hit my traffic behind me. I take it to the dealership once again to be looked at and diagnosed and so far I've only been told what it COULD be, nothing definitive. So they kept the vehicle and here we are again, another MONTH and I STILL don't know exactly what's going with my vehicle. I am STILL required to make payments on what I believe to be is subpar nicely packed junk! I have call BMW corporate several times and still no resolve.. I say all of that to say... BUYER BEWARE!!!! If I knew what I know now I could've kept my perfectly fine Dodge Challenger, and remained brand loyal to great customer service and working products.

Made 5 calls to Service and was promised return call. It has now been 5 days and still no return call from dealership. I gave up and called Bradshaw Acura and they answered my BMW question and directed me to mechanic to help. Very discouraging as I own a new BMW M2 Competition and am new to the area. Going outside of the region, to Atlanta, appears to be my only choice for BMW service. This will color my opinion when selecting my next new automobile.
