I purchased my Ram at another dealership but due to bad service I started having my service done at Piedmont Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram about 2 years ago. When I am ready to trade it will be with Piedmont and that is all because of Bryan Ward and the service department. Service is everything to me and Bryan knows me and my preferences. He calls me by name and makes sure that everything that I wanted done is completed right. If I can't trust the dealership to perform service on my vehicle I will not buy from them. Broken promise to fix vehicle damage - TGSRT
I took my car into Big O Dodge for a third party warranty issue. After about a week they called to say that my car was ready. Upon picking it up, I noticed a rather large ding in the passenger door. Luckily (I thought) I had shown the service adviser how clean the car was before work was begun. When I showed him the damage, he acknowledged that it was new and that they would take care of it. The assistant service manager was called over and he confirmed that it would be taken care of. An appointment was made to get it fixed the next week. I dropped it off and was told that I would hear something soon. On the second day, when I hadn't received a call, I started to call. Four calls and an email to the dealership got me no response. I finally tracked down the body shop to find out that it had been returned to the dealership in the morning (it was now 4 pm) with no work being done. Another call to the dealership was placed where I spoke to the assistant service manager. He told me the owner and the service manager had responded to the body shop and determined that the damage was not their responsibility. Apparently there had been some work done to the door before and they didn't think they should have to deal with it. Neither one had seen the car before but they "assumed" the adviser had missed it and that I was trying to get them to pay for preexisting damage. Unfortunately, I would have been glad to work out a compromise where they fixed what they damaged and I took care of anything that may have been extra. They never even told me the car was back, never mind calling me to discuss it. To make matters worse, the service manager handed me the keys and said "Oh, I just noticed this post it, the check engine light is on". When I got home I also noticed that the door latch (on the door they evaluated) didn't work. I brought the car in for one issue and left with three. They lost all work on the three Mopar products I won for ever. What a terrible way to do business.

I purchased a 2019 Jeep from Tom Sliger. Everything was done via phone/text. I researched Jeeps all over the southeast and Akin had exactly what I wanted and for the best price. Tom was easy to work with! I also traded my 2012 Jeep. We did all of trade negotiations via phone/pics. Tom even stayed late the night I picked my jeep up. I have recommended Akin to a friend in NYC! Went shopping for a truck with my son. They refused to show a truck in the Tradesman line, claiming they were not available. Tried to sell him a truck at least 20k out of his price range. Would not accept Credit Karma score for negotiation purposes, then ran his credit several times which caused his score to drop drastically. They told him that they would back out other inquiries if he bought a truck from them. I used to have respect for this dealership, but no longer. They use highly unethical strong-arm tactics in order to try to force a sale and prevent you from shopping other dealerships. Complaint with BBB was filed and they refused to respond to it.

The WORST service department I have ever been to. They should be ashamed and embarrassed. They don't care as most of these issues in the reviews are not addressed or remedied. First, all I needed were 4 new tires. They didn't have the exact tires that came on the vehicle. So I have to go to parts to order them. Parts department was nice. Cale did a great job. They told me I could make an appointment, when I tried, they told me that it wouldn't matter, that the appointment was just to talk to a service advisor. Well it's literally just 4 tires. I bring the car at 7:45 am. The service lady does everything quickly, I asked how long it might be she says an hour or an hour and a half. Ok 1 person in front of me. Same thing 4 tires. So I waited. They didn't even get to it until 9:45. So I literally waited 2 hours for them to even get to the car. At 10:30 she tells me they are "wrapping up on the car now". At 10:55 they were test driving it. At 11:10 they tell me it's done. 15 minutes to test drive it. It takes me 13 minutes to drive to Evans. So 3.5 hours to install 4 tires. She asks me to give them 10 stars on the survey that I might get. HA! The tires were over inflated to 43 PSI when it says recommended psi on door frame is 36. The wheels were covered with the wax used to install the tires. Never again will I come here to buy or service any vehicles.
