Had an appointment to get my radio checked and tire rotation oil change. Dropped it off thursday, monday till didnt touch my car. Worst service department in awhile. What happened they didnt even care I was upset. I cried for hours over they way they treated me. Never experienced this from ford before. I have 4 Mustangs and proud of them. Will never purchase from ford crestview in fear of dealing with service department.

Terrible Experience. My car has been in the shop since march 8th and I'm being told that it will potentially be another month after I was initially told it would take 2 weeks. I even mentally prepared for waiting a month because of the delays I hear about. But no one calls me to update me and this last time when I called three times, I was sent to voicemail after being "transferred". I then called on my friends phone and was immediately transferred to speak with someone, when i did get to someone she then tells me the part won't come in until may 13th. Better communication and understanding would be great. ubers and lyfts are expensive given how far i work from home, and now for another month? If they knew the parts were going to take long -and I was told they don't even take the car apart until all parts are in - why couldn't I just drive my car until then.
I was told this is crucial part. It's radiator shutter. Several of my mechanic friends told me completely otherwise. I understand that covid has delayed parts but a radiator shutter is a piece of plastic, makes sense since most things under the hood of a Ford is plastic. I'm a very patient person but I've reached my breaking point. I'm not lucky enough to have a backup vehicle or rental, and I began this process with high hopes and trust but the inconsideration has been jaw-dropping.
I regret taking my vehicle to Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach.

I had a major issue in the sales department. After buying a truck that they told me they would fix after the purchase, I found out it was just the salesmans way of closing the deal with no intention of honoring their word. After talking to some friends, I found out that their service department recently charged for services they did not perform. Again, no intent to honor their mistake. Seems like a bad dealer with no motive to please the customer.

I took my vehicle in to this dealer for an oil leak. I was told the valve cover gaskets and the qil pan gaskets were the cause of the leak. Replacing them would cost almost $2,500 and would take approximately 4 days. I agreed. Six days later when I called, I was told that parts were required and they hadn't started on the car. No one called me to update. I was then told the technician would start on my car when he finished other cars, and that it would take another week. That week went by, and when I called today, I was told that it may take another week, which would mean that they will have had my car for a month. I have been dealing with this service department for 13 years, and have never experienced this poor service. Fortunately, this will be the last service they will do on my vehicles. The large screen TV in the waiting area says "Of course we can fix it, we built it". I guess that only applies to cars under warranty. Never again!!!!!

I have been to Ed Sherling a few times and the guys in the service department went above and beyond to accommodate me. They have worked with me on the price of the service, they have done an oil change without an appointment. I was on my way to fish a tournament and got a nail in my tire, and the service rep went in the back and plugged my tire so I could get on the road. I have had multiple problems with a big named service company and they have tried to ruin my truck. I will not go back to anyone else except Ed Sherling. Also, the guys who work in the parts department are awesome too. They have gone above and beyond to find the right parts when I have needed them. They are also going to order my lift, tires and wheels for my truck. I recommend you get to know the employees at Ed Sherling Ford and let them get to know you. Ms. Sherling called me tonight and asked me about my experience at her dealership. I told her that I will not be taking my truck to anyone else while I am in Enterprise. She asked me to tell her if I ever have anything negative to say, I told her that I would. I believe if you want good service, you need to get out and introduce yourself and deal with people face to face. Just for calling me, Ms. Sherling will have my business and you should give them a fair shot at earning yours.
