This review is for finance department. We bought a 2017 CHEVROLET EQUINOX 4D LS in May 2019, and the car got totaled on Dec 31, 2020. We bought a gap insurance and extended warranty with for peace of mind in the event like this, but instead it had been a nightmare to deal with. The gap insurance keep telling us to call the finance department to cancel the warranty, but the finance department keep denying us. We file a complaint through their website, but no feedback from them. They seem to only response when you write a review, but won't try to help you. They were only helpful when they were trying to make you get the car, after that they are no help at all.

This is my second post so I’ll reiterate that I bought a new car from Chevy in 2018 and I sold it in December 2020. I’ve asked for months now for my unused gap insurance and dealt with several people they sent me the documentations that I had to sign and I did and still have not received my refund check. The funny thing is I also bought a brand new Chrysler Jeep on the Chrysler side the same month in 2018 which I also treated in in December 2020 and I received my check for my gap refund right away after about five weeks their customer service is great however Chevy it’s horrible they’re downright thieves so I’ve decided to take a different route I’ve been in contact with the Better Business Bureau which do you have to do in order to get off there but. This is also unfortunate because my son is also getting ready to buy two vehicles and he loves Chevy But he will not be buying them from Miami Lakes auto mall

Wish I could give no stars. Mangers, service person, customer service deserves 0 ratings. Please don't go. They have no respect for customers time or feelings. If I can give this dealership 0 stars I would. At a Honda dealership, I was brought to my attention that my vehicle had 2 different VIN numbers (the vin number sticker on the door did not match the vin number on the front window of the vehicle). The Honda dealership wasn’t accepting the car like this so I visited this dealership since this was where I purchased the car. What did they do? Provide excuses about how this wasn’t their fault, it’s a manufacturer error, etc, etc. One of their employees even implied if I had stolen my car...lol. And the manager there, which was my sales person 5 years ago, was aware of the situation and was MIA the whole time when I was at the dealership. Supposedly, they sent a picture of the 2 different vin numbers to GM Motors... this was 2 weeks ago and I’m yet to hear from them. The workers at this Chevrolet are all pathetic.

I will be taking my 2021 Suburban High Country to Schumacher from now on, Brian made sure of it. My Suburban broke down had to have it towed in and I got a text saying my car was going to be worked on March 4 and it was March 1. So I called and Brian the “cut you off at the knees” service advisor he is says to me after I was alarmed at four days keeping my car and Brian tells me he can’t just fit it in and it will not be in in the next hour. There is Mike Maroone service. Now mind you the night we purchased the new 80K car as soon as we signed the papers the sale guy says “oh look you gave a recall just make an appointment as soon as you can........I mean the second we signed the paperwork.......it was astounding to watch! We have owned this car for 4 months...... and the second recall has been issued having nothing to do with the break down which involves the car just cutting off every time u stop and NOT starting back up you have to push button.. Buyer beware on this group!

I went in with a pre approval with Capitol One and they ran my credit 9 times which somehow took my credit down 150points!! The most your credit should hit when getting a car is 15points.
I found out(after I got a vehicle) they don't check the transmissions in their used vehicles.
Within the first 36 days(warranty is 90days) of me having the car it stalled on me right after putting in gas at the pump 3 times, the car vibrates after leaving any stops and the steering wheel makes a popping sound. You can never reach them when you need service. After them looking at my car they said my car had a transmission issue. Once the inspector came out to look at it( takes 2 days with NO COURTESY CAR giving to you) I was told everything was covered under their warranty even the transmission they just needed aftermarket prices for the parts not Nissan. They called after getting the parts but told me they aren't fixing anything but the axels. When I asked why they stated, "The inspector didnt say why."I called the number for the inspector and found out AUTONATION DENIED ALL THE WORK NOT THE INSPECTOR. Meanwhile I've NEVER had an issue with my transmission until they serviced my car for the issues I stated. Now I have a car with a bad transmission. If you ever have to leave your car for one day or days you can expect NO courtesy car issued. This place is a joke.
Not to mention my brother got a car from them and they over filled the oil and did not fix his transmission either.
