The sales side of this dealership is good, and in the past the service has been acceptable. Recently had a very unpleasant experience with the service department, however. Not answering phones, not returning voicemails, left my girlfriend stranded for 7 hours in their waiting room and misled her about the status of what should have been a simple repair.

While the sales person was a nice guy and seemed honest about some things, the fact that Coyle still has a vehicle, an posted for sale AFTER we told them there was a severe oil problem with this vehicle that is $23000 just baffles me. It tells me they don't care who they sucker as long as they make a sale. Not good business. Plus the other vehicle we initially went to look at, we're told it's available. We get there and sales guys says I can't sell that to you it needs 8000 in repairs. WHAT? Yet it's posted on your website for sale. Just doesn't seem trustworthy to me. We took our business elsewhere.

In March 2017 I purchased a certified 2015 Terraine from John Jones. I then took a job in Florida, and with me can this 4-wheeled citrus. Within the first three months of owning this vehicle, it was in the shop for "Parking Assist" and "Stabilitrack" which caused hard shifting/bucking and the care would die if stopped. These issues disappeared and the car was drivable... for a while.
It's presently July 2020, this car has been in mechanics shops 9 times for the same issue, some stays were as long as 6 weeks. No one can fix it, or determine the problem. John Jones was contacted by email a few months ago about all of this, details and details. They never responded, but they were kind enough to add me to their email list.
They sold me a lemon, were informed the first two times it was in the shop, and have since stopped even trying to care. They stole my money.

Makes me nervous about whether they did any other work that was a part of their check list that they tout. Will not return.

Herb Kinman is responsible for the worse car buying and owning experience I have ever had...period. Avoid this place at all costs! Drive a little further and buy from a dealership that doesn't have a "C" rating from the BBB.
I've had 10 lifters replaced in my truck in 4 years. In 2015 I had 2 replaced and was assured by HKC that it wouldn't happen again, that this was a fluke. A few weeks ago another lifter went out. I called HKC and the general managers solution was to sell me a new car.

I took my relative's car over to GM City on the advise of a cousin who bragged on the people over in Scottsburg. I'm sure glad I did. They sure do know what they are doing!
My cousin's car was making a new sound and she drove it everyday to work. She told me about it more than once, so I asked around at church. Everyone had a different idea. Finally, another cousin said drive over to see the service folks at GM City in Scottsburg. I's glad I did!
I need to shout out to Scott Nale who really helped me. I got out in less than an hour. While I was there, their General Manager Ryan Barker even introduced himself. I didn't want to leave. They really valued me and made sure everything was more than okay.
I know where to take any car I have over to Scottsburg! Again, Worth the Drive Anytime!
