Collision Repair at Body Shop, good work, was done on time, friendly staff, easy scheduling. Lifetime guarantee on work and parts through insurance company. They cleaned the exterior and interior of the vehicle. Changed oil on request, replaced wiper blades and air filter on inspection and kept us updated on the service and repairs.

Unexpected service on my Silverado - Mike
On August 8, 2019 we were enroute to Hocking Hills for a vacation stop. Unexpectedly our Silverado four wheel drive kicked on and would not go off. A message appeared saying service four wheel drive is needed. We had just exited onto the Logan exit, and saw Don Wood Chevrolet Dealership.
I stopped and spoke with Kody in service department. He was pleasant and knowledgeable saying it was a known computer issue on the Silverados. He immediately got a mechanic to diagnose it. The good news was it was a computer modular issue, however my 2015 Silverado with only 32,000 miles could not be reprogrammed, and needed a new computer modular. The part had to be ordered and fixed the next day.
Now here is where Kody went above and beyond. Knowing we were on vacation he worked to get us another Silverado to haul our gear onward to our camp ground. Our Silverado was repaired, and the next day we switched back without any inconvenience our vacation. I really appreciate what Kody at Don Wood Chevrolet did for us to get our vehicle fixed with the least interruption to our vacation.
For General Motors they know this is an issue and have neglected to recall this model years and replace them with a modular that can be reprogrammed. This was out of warranty, and an unneeded expense for a vehicle that should be more dependable. GM should do better.

I took my car in thinking it might be the transmission but wanted to have it checked out first, turned out to be the timing belt that was under and expired special warranty. The service advisor Dennis has been great through this whole process! He could have tried to sell me things I did not need but that has never been the case and I know because I have asked him if I needed things and he has said no.

The Impala is a great car..........we are very pleased with it. We appreciate the great service department at Don Wood........and especially Mike McPhearson. We have used the service department since we moved to Logan 11 years ago and have always been satisfied.
Service Center is Terrible - RareReveiwGuy
Took my Altima in with transmission troubles. They checked it out and said nothing was wrong. I asked for them to service the transmission and was quoted at $210. Almost a week later and a phone call, the service coordinator called to tell me they didn't have the equipment to service the transmission. Although, they could drain and refill the fluid but it would cost roughly $360 instead of the $210. I ended picking up my car as I felt I was getting the run around and another dealership quoted me at $220. While waiting to get my Altima into the other dealership, the transmission failed while I was out of town for work. Taylor couldn't do anything about it even though they had said the transmission was fine the week before. Could all be coincidence but I believe there was something wrong and they knew it would eventually fail and they would get a more expensive transmission job. After telling the service manager I was unhappy, he didn't do anything to try and resolve the issue. This experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth at Taylor dealerships and I will not be doing business there unless I have no other option. I will discourage anyone from doing business there.
Dishonest and impossible to work with - andilynn
My husband and I bought a truck from out of state. We had it shipped to us via a private transport company. Once we took delivery of the truck, the truck had 1,289 more miles on it than the contract we signed. Upon notification to Lash, the General Sales Manager (GM) was very rude and at first blamed the transport company, then offering us $100, which to us took ownership of wrong doing. We declined stating that we wanted at least $600 due to the government per diem mileage reimbursement. We were laughed at and told by the GM that he would not give us that amount of money. My husband asked for a set of tow mirrors, we were declined. We asked for running boards, we were declined. The GM had called us back telling us that he would give us $200. We declined. Once we were able to speak to the Owner, Eric Lash, he refused to deal with the situation and put it back on the GM. This entire situation could have easily been resolved if the Lash Chevrolet would have owned up to the wrong doing and have dealt with it in a mature way. When we told the GM that we would report this situation to the BBB, Google Reviews, and the Attorney General's office, he said that he didn't care, "Go ahead and do it." This whole situation could have been avoided if the sales associate would have gotten off his lazy chair to go out and check the physical mileage on the truck when the purchase paperwork was being written up, or that Lash Chevrolet would not permit their employees to drive "for sale" vehicles as daily drivers to put on additional miles on vehicles that are to be purchased by "us" the consumer. We are disgusted on how we were treated when Lash Chevrolet was in breach of contract. I never suggest for anyone to do business with such a dishonest company. We are also in communication with Chevrolet Corporate to notify them of this disheartening situation.
