I Purchased a used car from this dealer a couple months... - Dustin B
I Purchased a used car from this dealer a couple months ago. Had it shipped at my expense. It arrived with undisclosed cosmetic issues. I was also told it was being detailed and found french fries in the back seat along with general gunk in every space that would hold it. All of that is somewhat tollerable and not why I am writing this review. I typcally purchase used cars and rarely from my own state. I understand they will not be perfect when they show up. However, this car had frozen and pulsing rear breaks. I brought this up the second day of having the car and was told to get an estimate to repair. I did this at my cost and submitted. I was then told this would be taken care of mutiple times for almost two months now that a check was in the mail and tracking would be supplied. Needless to say this has not been taken care of and I as a customer should not have to chase a dealership to ensure a car they sold is safe and functioning in a normal way. I have bought many cars in the past and never lied to, certainly not outright and multiple times. I have never written a bad review before but I think if you have no recourse then this is what you have to do. Buyer beware with this dealer.

The employees there are very friendly and thorough.
On this visit, they inspected the vehicle, changed the oil and rotated tires.
They called to advise me of an issue and offered to keep the car or for me to return another day...left the car there.
Everyone be CAREFUL of Any of the Nick Mayer places.... - Unhappy
Everyone be CAREFUL of Any of the Nick Mayer places. They say they do a 198 point inspection before they deliver vehicles when buying online. After buying the vehicle this is how they check the vehicles.(pictures). I had to bring it to another dealership and they found this mess. They said it was UNSAFE. Nick Mayer dealership said they apologize about the brakes they dont know how it got past them, only when confronted, They do not stand behind what they say. They have the audacity to tell me I can trade it back for MORE MONEY for another vehicle . LOL Then they tried to tell me its a northern truck that is the way they are. I live in the south now but grew up all my life in New York area and have had many vehicles. So they tried that game also. Then they didnt know what to say. If you watch Chad Meyers video from 2018 on you tube, he says its what we do for our customers after we sell the vehicle,..... * They dont call you back * They ignore you . This will be 1 of many post. Please be aware everyone works hard for their money, specially these times.........
I know people who worked their quit the dealership because they are not honest.
I Am not the only one they have deceived.
No Pressure - phillips113
Ryan showed me the vehicle and when I told him I needed to research the car. He understood and there was no urgency to buy. When I came back I got what I wanted for my trade in. Overall the best
car buying experience I have had.

Got a new Ecosport, great price with the incentives. Tim Scully was very easy and very helpful in making a good deal. I would recommend him for a square deal and help in setting up all the electronics and Ford perks. I looked at 6 dealers and Tim was
very pleasant helped us a great deal. Tim worked with Jordan Gollmer (finance mgr.) and got me a better rate than my own credit union.
Our 2017 Lincoln MKX has failed to start 4 times in cold... - Kentucky Mom
Our 2017 Lincoln MKX has failed to start 4 times in cold weather. It has been to 4 different dealers with no one even finding the problem. It happened again while at our daughter's in Jefferson Ohio. Went out to leave on Monday morning, car wouldn't start. Because no Lincoln dealer was close by, the car was towed to Greg Sweet Ford. By 2 that afternoon, they called and said they found a relay stuck open. Since it was too late to go home that day, we told them to service the vehicle and we would pick it up the next day. By 2 pm the next day, the car was repaired, serviced and washed. Very reasonably priced service too. Very good experience and they found the problem.

Amy was fantastic to deal with, an overall great buying experience. We started the day at another dealer and had a horrible experience where a car was sold out from under us while we were making a deal with the keys on the table. I called Shorkey Ford to verify a vehicle on their website was indeed still on the lot, where I was connected with Amy. From that phone call through the rest of the buying process, she was very professional and pleasant to deal with. We were also treated with excellent customer service by the general Manager and one of the owners. The experience was night and day compared to the shady practices at the other dealer we had been at. Everyone we worked with on our new car purchase and trade was top notch from sales to finance. I would recommend Amy and this dealership to anyone if you want an easy, honest and fair new car trade and purchase.

Took my 2018 f150 in for a recall for frozen door locks.... - Gwoody
Took my 2018 f150 in for a recall for frozen door locks. They told me to drop off the truck in the am. I dropped it off the night before they told me it would take 3 hours. I went in at 4:00 the next evening and it wasn’t done. Told me it was going to be another 45 min. I had no place to go for 45 min or a way to get there anyway. Had to sit in waiting room till done with my mask on. Very uncomfortable. NOT HAPPY I believe it was Robert that waited on me when I went back to pick up my truck. He talked nice to me but it still didn’t help my experience Update. The day after the service the service manager call to apologize for the bad experience that I had.

Many of my friends have dealt with Phil Godfrey for many years and have always given them a good solid recommendation. I totaled my Chevrolet last year and decided to try dealing with Phil Godfrey and have been very happy with them. They are professional and very knowledgeable without being at all pushy. They treat the customer with great compassion and make them feel like a family member. I will recommend this dealership to my friends and family. I feel they are honest and have integrity.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Our nightmare... - KS15642
If I could leave negative stars, I would. Our nightmare started off innocently enough. We stopped on Thursday to look at a vehicle for my wife. We decided to make the deal Saturday, called, said we'd be there in 10-15 minutes to make the deal. Salesman gives us keys tells us to take a last test drive to make sure. Wife absolutely falls in love with it. We get back, start working on the trade in, finalize numbers, 20 minutes into that process, salesman comes back and says sorry, someone just bought hat car. Turns out someone who came in AFTER us was given the car while we were finalizing our deal. At that point it went south in a hurry. Our salesman tried to locate the same vehicle elsewhere to do a trade with no success while apologizing several times (he was not the problem). I asked to see the sales manager, who may be the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Someone leading a team of customer service folks should have at least minimal customer service skills themselves. Instead of profusely apologizing and asking what he can do to keep our business, he chose to open with yeah, stuff like that happens, attitude seemed like he couldn't care less, didn't offer any resolution...pretty much told us tough crap. When I asked again how someone who came in after we started working on the deal ended up with the car we were buying and why he didn't offer any other resolution, he says "There was nothing out there you want". Free lesson, maybe if you weren't such a jerk with a horrible attitude and made an offer to step up and right your dealership wrong without me having to ask you to...you know, do your freaking job....we probably would have been able to make a deal. Don't worry though, we went to another dealer and drove home in a new car that night and will make sure I share my experience on every online platform I can so nobody has to deal with you and your horrific attitude you seem to think is good customer service again.

My husband and I purchased a 2021 F350 that was ordered... - Tmyers44646
My husband and I purchased a 2021 F350 that was ordered in October for production at the Ford plant. Our car salesman was Bob Bryce. Initially we were told delivery was near Christmas. My husband called the week before and left messages x2 that were never returned. He finally reached him and Bob told us he was sure it would be there but we requested him to call and ask as we were working with CSE for our loan. Several days went by with no return call. My husband called him and he informed us new dat January 18th. Once again as the 18th drew near I called and left messages that were never returned. My husband called and had him paged and asked him to check on date he said he would. Once again no return call. My husband called him and he said new date was February 8. Now I understand it being late. I am a nurse and with COVID EVERYTHING is late. But when I am spending $57;000 I dont feel a few phone calls is asking too much! I feel I worked harder for this sale then Bob did. I also want to say how awesome Pete was at going over all of the gadgets on the truck. He was awesome. Unfortunately I have a sour taste in my mouth and probably would not shop there again. Bob said that its a running joke at the dealership about him not returning phone calls. Well its no joke, its not funny and its far from being profesional. I believe in keeping business local but you lost ours.
I arrived as soon as they opened to buy a used F150.... - andy
I arrived as soon as they opened to buy a used F150. After we looked the truck over and began discussing the details with our salesperson, Brian Lewis, he told us there was an extra $1100 in fees on the truck over the advertised price. I understand dealers have standard fees but we wanted a breakdown and explanation of what each fee was and instead Brian got angry and began arguing with us. Instead of explaining them he began yelling at us that he does not make the fees and they are what they are. I went and found a manager and as I was trying to explain the situation, Brian came over and began arguing with us again. The manager sent us to the waiting area and Brian came back, half apologized, and said " sorry I got mad but come on guys." I've never had a sales person get angry yet alone yell over a simple explanation of prices. It is a shame as we would of purchased if not for your poor sales staff.
Steve Siegel was excellent from the start,... - Jason Carlton
Steve Siegel was excellent from the start, straightforward, and to the point. I bought a used truck and they fixed a couple of the small issues without question and worked with me a bit on price. I also felt no pressure working with him. In addition I live in Ohio about 1.5hrs away, soon after purchase I needed to get the truck back to them to put on a part that was backordered, they met me half way and gave me a loaner vehicle and delivered the finished truck to my house. Without question Steve went much further than many other salesmen would have, communicated constantly, and returned calls promptly. extremely happy with my purchase, I will definitely be back! Thanks Steve!
I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on April 25, 2020,... - jt3269
I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on April 25, 2020, from AutoNation Ford North Canton for cash. After thoroughly test driving the car and finalizing the sale, I drove it off the lot and back home 2 hours away. I stopped for my mail and turned the car off. A few minutes later, I turned the car back on and it acted like it didn't want to turn over. I turned it immediately off and then back on and it started. When I arrived home a few minutes later, I turned the engine off and on a few times with this same thing happening almost every other time I tried starting the car. The next morning, I texted the salesperson Aaron, to tell him what was happening. He said I would need to return to their service department two hours away to have the car looked at. I explained that I did not feel safe driving the car two hours on the interstate. He said I could take it to a local Chevy dealer but would have to pay a $200 deductible even though I literally drove it off their lot the day before and there is a 90 day/4,000 mile warranty. I sent the General Manager of this AutoNation an e-mail explaining the circumstances and he replied back that unfortunately, I didn't purchase any of the additional warranties they offered to sell me, and sometimes used cars are unpredictable and maybe the car just needed a fuel treatment. What? I just bought it the day prior. Shouldn't all of this been checked before someone bought the car? I took the car to a local Chevy dealer, paid the $125 diagnostic fee, which I shouldn't have had to pay since I just purchased the car, and they told me the timing chain was off, had recently been messed with and not fixed correctly, and someone tried painting over the markings. After many e-mails back and forth between myself, the General Manager at AutoNation Ford North Canton, and the Service Manager at my local Chevy dealer, Scott Heid at AutoNation, decided to pay for the timing to be repaired on the car they just sold me. A few days later, the Engine Overheat AC Shutting Off light on the dash came on and I had to call Roadside assistance to check it. Luckily, they said it was just a short and the car was okay to drive. Yesterday, when I turned the key in the ignition, the car, again, acted like it didn't want to start. I turned it off and back on, and the car started fine. I turned the engine off, and the car vibrated and acted like it didn't want to shut off. This morning when I started the car the check engine light came on. At this point, I don't even know what to think. I am taking the car to a garage and having it looked over so they can tell me everything that is wrong with it. I'm sure I will have to pay for whatever is wrong, even though the car is still within the 90 days/4,000 mile warranty. I am completely fed up with AutoNation Ford North Canton dealership, feel like they don't stand behind their used car warranty unless you purchase the additional warranties they try and sell you, avoid your phone calls and e-mails, are shady and dishonest, and sell used cars that should not be sold and are not road worthy.
