I just leased a Honda CR-V from Foundation Honda. Wendy McPherson, my Sales Consultant, did an outstanding job guiding me through the process. She is helpful, intelligent, articulate and highly responsive. She is also very efficient, which allowed the transaction to be concluded swiftly. She patiently made sure I understood all the lease terms and the operation of the vehicle. I would gladly work with her again. I also worked with Charles Latimer, in Finance, who also did an excellent job managing that part of the process. Thank you, Foundation Honda, for a good experience.

MY first new car ever was a 1984 Honda Civic. Still to this day one of the best cars I ever had.
So when we needed an extra family car we decided to look at a certified Civic.
WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!. Our salesman Art was one the most professional people I have ever met in the car business. We cannot say enough great things about him. The managers Lindsay and Patrick made the transaction actually fun.
If you are looking for a Honda, which is always a good choice, BAIERL HONDA
is the place to go.

The first associate didn't offer a discount off of the sticker price. I told him received an email about trading in for a 2020 crv and he claimed they didn't have any. I mentioned about going to another lot and suddenly he found one. However, I liked the 2021 crv better.
The second associate to help me offered a small discount and was more informative. He also apologized for a past experience we had at the dealership and caused us to buy a Nissan from across the street. Sorry but we can't forgive Honda for that one.
The sales people and the finance person that I dealt with were polite.
I would recommend the Honda dealership to friends and family.
I looked up floor mats for my new car and seen a certain price and when I went in I was charged more at the dealership.

Absolutely disgusted by my experience with the salesman Rudy and this company.
-He asked me to roll my window down and call someone walking by "gay"
-He insulted my weight and politics
-I had an hour and a half drive so I called ahead to let them know I was coming to look at a specific vehicle and let Rudy know I had an hour and a half drive. He called me an hour and 20 minutes late to say that the vehicle was sold several days before.
-He informed me I could not purchase a manual transmission Civic in my deal range. So I went to Valley Honda in Monroeville and received amazing service, respect, and a deal ON A MANUAL HONDA THAT CAME IN WELL BELOW MY DEAL REQUIREMENTS.
Stay away from this bigoted, disrespectful company at all costs!

Still waiting on a call back from the service manager to ok this. In the mean time I just I asked a different dealer to do it, who had no issue with it at all.

Chad the salesman was great and I would probably buy a car from him if he worked anywhere but Preston Honda.
The Sales Manager and the Finance Manager...not so much... they are the reason I didn’t buy there and I wouldn’t recommend them. They inconvenienced me and, instead of trying to make it right, made matters worse by trying to bs me...don’t do that to people.
I wish Chad a lot of success...the others, well... not so much

I Had Several Issues With My 2017 Honda Accord That I Purchased Brand New From This Dealership. I Had Problems With My Headlight, Collision Assist, Rear Wheel Bearing, Battery, And My Tire That Was Chewed Up From The Ball Bearing. I Contacted Apostolakis Honda And Sherri (Shop Manager) Answered The Phone. She Had A Very Negative Attitude On The Phone. We Setup An Appointment With Her. Whenever We Brought In The Vehicle She Still Maintained That Negative Attitude The Entire Visit. Anything I Would Say She Would Interrupt Me And State "That's Not The Problem" And Continue To Type Her Notes. The Issue With My Collision Assist Was Never Diagnosed As She Didn't Include Them In Her Notes. We Had To Contact Three Different Employees From This Location To See What The Extended Warranty Covered. We Talked To Someone Who Finally Ordered Us A Booklet That Goes OVer Warranty Coverage. (Didn't Recieve As Of Yet). She Fought With Us About A Honda Battery That SHould Have Been Warrantied As It Was In The Vehicle 29 Months Before It Went Bad. When The Battery Its Self States It Has A 100 Month Warranty. She Does Not Support A Positive Image For The Apostolakis Auto Group. This Woman Needs to be Coached Or Fired. Whenever I Would Come To This Location (3 Times); Two Of The Three Times She Was Stuffing Her Face With Food At The Service Center Dropoff.I Requested Several Times For Her Managers Number She Would Dismiss That Request And Keep Talking Until I Demanded Her Managers Number. I Also Requested For Hondas Corporate Number And She Referred Me To The Owners Manual. When I Stated I Would Report All Of This She Told Me "Good Luck". Sure Enough, The issues That I Stated Where Correct And Fixed At My Cost. I Will Be Contacting Honda On These Issues. I Also Won't Purchase Another Vehicle From This Autogroup.

Went in skeptical, came out SOLD! - SpasticRat
Went to Straub Honda to confirm my choice about buying a new Toyota, either a Rav 4 or a Highlander. Michael Staskey met me at the door and showed me a CR-V. He is without a doubt the most knowledgable sales person I have ever met. I really wanted NOT to like the CR-V and confirm my choice of a Toyota. But Michaels knowledge of the Honda CR-V and his professionalism won me over. He was not pushy or rushed. He showed me how the safety features worked and I was SOLD! The test drive capped it off. The car is awesome and then some. Honda has hit a home run with this car. But it still takes a great sales person to close the deal.
And the funny thing was, my neighbor was buying the EXACT same car at the exact same time we were. I can only hope their salesman was as good as Michael.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - diego.rojas
I am in the market for a new car and I have been searching since Memorial Day for a good deal. Long story short, after shopping around and exchanging phone calls and emails with different dealers, I visited Subaru Serra in Akron, OH. I was looking for a Legacy 2020, and started to work with Julie Remesik. At the moment they did not have any in stock, we settle on a price range, and I even left a $500 deposit that they asked for. Julie told me she was going to request the car with my specifications from another dealer and they were going to bring it sometime this week. Once the car arrived, I confirmed Julie that I was coming on Friday before 430 pm as she requested. She stressed that I had to arrive before 430 pm to have enough time to close the deal. In order for me to be there on time I had to leave work early and drive 3 hours to get there on time.
Today (June 5th, 2020), I arrived before 430 pm, and the first thing that Julie told me, was that “I will have to send you back home, since you did not fill out the credit application”, which infuriated me since I had not even seen the car in person or test drive it, and she even said that “if we could not make a deal, we could not make a deal”. With that attitude I immediately requested my deposit back. She brought the sales manager, and after a quick chat I walked out of the dealership with a deposit receipt and no car.
What annoyed me the most was that even though half of the negotiation was done and I was ready to purchase a new car, Julie was rude and unpolite. Since the beginning I told her I was not going to fill out an application without seeing and driving the car first (who buys a car without seeing it and test it first), but she kept pushing. With her comment about sending me back home, she disregarded the effort I made of leaving work early and driving 3 hours to arrive on time. They mentioned they had other customers, but I made an appointment with Julie to do all the paperwork, and I only saw a couple of customers and a lot of sale representatives available.
During these difficult times, from a consumer’s perspective, it’s a big commitment to buy a new car. I guess Serra Subaru in Akron must be doing really good to let go an almost already done deal. After investing a week working with Serra Subaru in Akron and with Julie, it is frustrating to be treated with such disrespected for my time and effort.
I really hope this was just a terrible mistake from the Serra Subaru at Akron personnel and not a prejudice due to the fact that I am Hispanic.
Terrible! Absolutely awful. - InsignificantNothing
They advertise expert Honda service technicians. They advertise they offer loaner vehicles. So I make an appointment on their website on the 9th. I pick the soonest available slot they have. It's on the 16th. I check the box that says I need a loaner. They RSVP on the 10th asking more about my car's issue. (It's 1 busted TPMS Sensor, and 1 busted coil spring) so I reply, and I show up on the 16th expecting to drop my car off and leave with a loaner and go back to work. Dwayne is working the service desk and he looks up my appointment and says they can fix it, and when I ask about a loaner he says, " Ah.. If I had one I'd give it to you, but you've got to make an appointment like a week in advance to get a loaner."
Having taken a little time off work to get this done and since I'm already there, I seethe a bit and start looking through my contacts to see who I can ask for a favor and pick me up. I'm waiting there for an hour like a fool waiting for my ride to show up on a moment's notice and Dwayne comes out and tells me, "We need to order a part and it's going to be here in the morning." I tell him I need the car by noon tomorrow as I have a dentist appointment. He assures me that they can have it done before then and he'll call me at 9:30am. My ride shows up and I leave the car there.
The next day at 10:30 I haven't heard a thing, so I call.
Josh says, "I don't know anything about that, hang on, I'll check." I sit on hold for a couple minutes listening to their recording about how they offer loaner vehicles and Josh comes back and says, "Yeah he's got it on the lift, he's thinking like 1:30 - 2:00" I explain to him what Dwayne and I had agreed upon, and that, I'm calling you after you've missed a deadline instead of you calling me. "He says let me see if I can bump that up" He comes back after a minute of holding and says, "Yeah, my tech is going to forego is lunch so he can have that for you by noon."
Knowing that this is just the latest lie in a long line of them, I cancel my dentist appointment and wait for the call.
1:30 and still nothing. So I call, and ask what the deal is with my car. He says his tech is having some trouble pairing the new sensor to the computer because their service gadget is old."
2:30 comes and I get the call. I go and pick it up. When I get in, the seat is way to the rear, the mirrors are all messed around with, it smells like they left the window open through the carwash, and the side airbag light is on in the gauge cluster. Which is indicative of a wet seat. (Some time passed and the light went out.)
The bill comes to $412, two days with no car, a bunch of favors a person with no car would ask of their friends. and 3 hours of lost wages missing work.

I bought a used Odyssey van there. I paid $1800 for a four year warranty. The van is nice but a couple months later the rains came. The security alarm goes off in the middle of the night and sometimes the sliding door window goes down by itself while it’s raining. I checked YouTube and could see that these vans have had these problems for ten years. I took the van back to Shadyside Honda and was informed that their $85 an hour mechanics had 3 hour into it and didn’t know what the problem was.(10 year problem) They wanted to replace a couple parts, costing $1000 and if that didn’t work they were going to try more parts. Of course nothing was covered under the warranty. I went and got the van back after them having it fo 2 and a half months ( shut down) I have to disconnect the battery every night. I also went for my scheduled oil and maintenance change. Right after I got van back the oil was half qt low and the tranny was almost 2 qts low. I asked didn’t they check the tranny fluid. He said they weren’t allowed to put tranny fluid in vehicle. I guess I go to the dentist for that.
Do not let them trick you into selling you a car on... - Nate
Do not let them trick you into selling you a car on dealer trade. They made me put a deposit down on a car they were unsure if they could even acquire. After 3 attempts at vehicles that didn’t even match exactly what I wanted, I went to another dealership and they had the exact truck I wanted coming in the next week. Received a much better deal at the other dealer as well. After I told them I purchased a vehicle elsewhere, their sales manager continued to call me.
Do Not Go Here - clk
Went in to look for a new CR-V. Salesman was incredibly demeaning. He acted as if I was incapable of discussing pricing and kept deflecting to my husband despite the fact it was my car even after my husband told him he needed to talk with me about it. Then he said the only reason I didn’t want to pay full sticker price was because I couldn’t afford it. To top matters off, he tried to sell me the same exact year and model of my current vehicle for nearly double the price he said he could give me on trade in. This place is a total joke. Don’t waste your time here.
Horrible experience. - GerryK
Do not ever use this place for service! I brought my mother's Fit in for the airbag recall, and thought i should go ahead and get it inspected, since it was due. Dropped the car off in the morning and caught their shuttle to work. they called a little after lunch and tried to tell me that the brake pads were 'stuck' in their brackets - and they would have to remove, clean and lube them, and reinstall. this would be $90. I said 'are the pads still serviceable to pass inspection?', they said 'yes' -- so i said go inspect it then. The person calling said they couldn't do the inspection without doing this; so I said 'well put it back together and i'll take it to a real garage', to which they curtly cut the call off, and then called two hours later to say the car was done.
In PA, the safety inspection includes visually inspecting the brake lining and rotor or drum to ensure it has enough lining, and parts are not too worn -- and if the brakes were stuck in their brackets, they frankly would not work (if you know anything about brakes)
Best part, they refused to inspect the car (and i refused to pay); and they messed around with every control in the car, changing the radio stations and climate control settings and steering wheel -- as if they were a bunch or pre-schoolers!
I would advise anyone to stay far away from this place.
HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE TEAM REPS - reginaguseynov
We have received HORRIBLE service from the service department at Jay Honda. The Reps had NO CLUE as to what they are doing, were RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and could not and would not assist. I sent my employee to pick up our vehicle after being called that it was ready, and he ended up having to spend more then 45 minutes at location to get the key, and that was only because he demanded to speak with a supervisor. After we picked up the vehicle it still had the SAME ISSUES that it came in with and when we contacted the service department to figure it out the rep literally started yelling and screaming profanities at my people. She also tried to sell us additional items that according to her "could possibly solve the problem", without ANY guarantee on the time, cost or whether the issue will be resolved even if we agreed to additional repairs. After a half hour argument we took the car back to them to REDO the work (reprogram the computer), and when they called us back the vehicle STILL HAD THE SAME issues. At that point after more arguing with the rep who would not give us the name of the supervisor, who advised us the She was the person in charge and there was not Anyone else to speak with in the whole Jay Honda Service department, we picked up the vehicle and took it to a different Honda Dealership and 3 hours later the vehicle was ready and done WITHOUT any other problems.
Long story short, the Parts team is great, professional and knowledgeable The service team is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and has ABSOLUTELY ZERO clue on what they are doing.
This dealership's service department doesn't know the... - chevygrl413
This dealership's service department doesn't know the first thing about "service", be it completing a vehicle service correctly or customer service. We scheduled to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced as well as an alignment done on our vehicle on January 13th and were told that the alignment couldn't be completed due to a cracked coil spring which the technician was afraid would break if adjusted. We were still charged the full price for a partially completed alignment. They adjusted the front toe only on a 4wd alignment. They didn't touch the castor/camber or rear. We were told to go ahead and replace the strut assembly and bring the vehicle back in and they would complete the rest of the alignment at no additional cost. We purchased and installed two new front strut assemblies and attempted to make an appointment to get the alignment completed today (exactly two weeks later) and were told we would have to be charged for the entire alignment again. Both my boyfriend and I tried to rectify this situation through the dealership's service department first. We both spoke with Brad, who said because they have to pay someone to setup the mirrors and basically do the entire alignment from the beginning again, we would have to pay for it a second time. I work in the automotive industry and know how to set up an alignment and have done them before... It's not that hard. The most time consuming aspect is setting up the mirrors, it's a bit tedious, but it still doesn't take that long. I would also expect for a dealership to back up their services especially when it has only been two weeks and we were promised it would be completed correctly. Again, as someone who works in customer service, I contacted them directly and tried to get this resolved before leaving a negative review. I'm very disappointed in their unwillingness to correct the problem and choosing to make a profit over taking care of their customer. This is the predominant reason why I don't recommend going to a dealership for services. Stick with a local shop or a chain who will at least stand behind their products and services!
Someone needs to go look into the service department at... - francozampetti
Someone needs to go look into the service department at South Hills Honda in McMurray PA.
Stop scamming customers by failing their state inspection over wiper blades. This is the 2nd year in a row that you have tried this crap. Shame on me for trying you a second time. The first time I had just purchased and installed myself Bosch Icon wipers ($40). You complete my inspection and tell me I'm all done. I see a charge for wipers??? I ask the service guy why and he says they failed inspection so he just had them change them (without asking me!) I flipped my lid. I asked to see me wiper blades, Guess what, they were already disposed of. The dealership says they won't charge me. So I end up with their horrible $5 blades and someone takes my $40 blades for their car.
Then stupid me goes back this year thinking it was just a mistake. And they try it again!! They said the wipers were smudged?(what does that even mean?) So I I tell them to put the car back together and I will pick it up. I run the wipers. They are fine. I have my wife look at them. They are fine. I have 3 neighbors look at them. They all say the same thing...there's nothing wrong with them. Next, I turn on the hose to simulate a rain storm. Guess what? They are still 100% FINE!
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! We bought 4 new cars from them and had plenty of service done. They will never get one more penny from us. What a shame. From now one, we'll buy from the internet.
