I recently just bought a new car from Piles Chevrolet in Dry Ridge. I bought a used cruize for my first "big" car purchase and I was honestly kind of nervous! But the people that I worked with at Piles provided an excellent first time buying experience. I worked with Danny Coulson and he was truly the best. I was quoted a price online for a car and because of that, I decided to drive over an hour to check it out. BIG MISTAKE! They refused to even sell the car for the price they quoted me! On top of that, I asked specifically that they run my credit application with Wright-Patt because I was pre-approved. They ignored me and ran my credit with Ally Financing and quoted me a rate almost twice what I was already guaranteed. After refusing to negotiate with me while on-site, they emailed me ten minutes after I left the lot to reduce the car by $100 after jacking the price up over $654 for an oil change/filter, replacing a fog lamp, and putting a new battery in the car. I will never go to this place or any Jeff Wyler.

Herb Kinman is responsible for the worse car buying and owning experience I have ever had...period. Avoid this place at all costs! Drive a little further and buy from a dealership that doesn't have a "C" rating from the BBB.
I've had 10 lifters replaced in my truck in 4 years. In 2015 I had 2 replaced and was assured by HKC that it wouldn't happen again, that this was a fluke. A few weeks ago another lifter went out. I called HKC and the general managers solution was to sell me a new car.

When you think of the stereotypical sleezy car dealership...think of this place. Awful doesn’t come close to our experience. I was looking for a specific car with certain options, they happened to have one available. So we drove from Dayton, and hour and a half and test drove the car, well their was something wrong with it. Here we are 3 weeks later and in that 3 weeks time the salesman called us over and over telling us what was going on with the car in regards to it being fixed, he called us yesterday to let us know it was fixed so again we made the hour and half drive AND here is where all the blatant lies to our face started. They first couldn’t find the car, then I was told the service manager was taking it for a spin to ensure it was ready for us, so we sat and waited, then we were told the service manager wasn’t even there (so how could he be driving it for us) then we were told, by the same salesman that told us it was fixed that it was in fact not fixed and was still being serviced. This salesman, his name is Ron Klan, had the nerve to then ask us to come back another day... really? We already drove down twice, you lied more times then we can count and you want us to come back?! We stopped and talked to one of the owners (young guy) and told him everything that was going on... and he couldn’t have cared less, which is probably why he employs sleezy liars as salesmen.
So do I recommend this place? Hahaha NO! I’d recommend you turn and run do not walk away from this place!
That’s ok, we walked in there intending to pay cash in full, but my money will spend just as well somewhere else.

I sent my Chevrolet to be repaired at McCluskey Kings Auto Mall this past July 2018. I sent it to McCluskey because I liked the dealership and it’s a Chevrolet dealer. This has turned into an absolute nightmare. There are so many details I will not go into but this is just terrible. I really wish I would have read the reviews before dealing with their service department.Since July my vehicle has had to go back twice. I have paid almost $1400 in repairs which I will say they did discount some but that’s because they missed a repair per their admittance. Now this last time (Labor Day) the vehicle had to go back again for the same issue and we were going to need to pay another $700 in repairs which one of the repairs was a thermostat we asked to be replaced the first time and they said we didn’t need it. Now it’s in need of an engine. Per Mccluskey I have only paid $700 but I have receipts reflecting almost $1400. They are also claiming we just want free services. The truth is if they would have fixed my suvcorrectly the first time then the suv would probably still be running. I had no problem with paying to get my vehicle fixed until I had to send it back that many tines. And now after they asked me about trading it in they then turned around and declined the offer; giving me a $14000 car repair estimate. Consumer beware! There is something that is wrong going on in their service department.

Went to look at used cars. Found one I thought and the next day went to pick it up. Got home with it and there were all kinds of problems. I had so much trouble. They promised a full tank of gas and I had to beg for that. I'm a disabled vet who was looking for a reliable used car. I thought this was the place but, I wouldn't recommend them to any service member or retired service member. Save your money. Don't be like me and lose it. Never again.

when We got to the dealership we met Austin at he salesman and he was super pushy from the start. Only asked us for the sale and nothing about us as people. On Friday night me and my wife drive a Jeep, we liked it but weren’t ready to sign papers that night since it was closing time and we had both worked all day. I asked the salesman to call me in the morning, when he did I informed him we would be coming in that day (Saturday) to negotiate a little and if I worked out we would buy the Jeep. 3 hours later when I’m on my way home from work to head to the lot I got a text saying they sold the Jeep followed by an LMAO. I got upset and texted the sales manager asking for him to communicate with me on Monday to talk about what happened and I have yet to hear from him. I would not recommend this dealership to my enemy let along a friend.

I bought a Chevy Silverado on 03/22/04 and on 03/24/04 I took it to Midas and they advised me that the 4 Wheel Drive was not working due to a part missing. I bought the truck as is however, I think that Apple should of paid for the part due to the fact that the part wasn't cracked or broke it was MISSING. I called the dealership and asked them if they would reimburse me for the part missing and they told me no. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone that wants to buy a used car. I thought that they were a good enough business that they would stand behind something like that. Now, if it had been 2-4 weeks later I would totally understand for them not to pay for it. But Midas told me that if I would of drove it 50 miles more then the whole rear end would of gone out. I am very upset and I hope people see this and decide to go somewhere else.

I first went to Tom Gill in Florence KY and walked out as soon as prices were mentioned. A few weeks later went to Columbia and had the best experience I could have asked for. I was greeted by Mike the salesman and he was very helpful and friendly from the start. Long story short, I wound up walking away with a brand new 2012 Chevy Cruze leased for a very very reasonable price. My trade in was accepted and Mike did not hesitate to work around a budget that fit me perfectly. It seems like he was doing everything possible to make me a great deal. I loved the experience and will recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking. I will definitely make the drive from KY to Columbia Chevy for anything...well worth the time.

I took my 2014 Silverado In for oil change and tire ration and they called me and said that the mechanic tripped over the air hose and it dented and scratched my truck. They said that they we're gonna put touch up paint on it which I refused that they use touch up paint seeing how there's a dent also and it's only six months old and 38000 dollars I expected higher quality out of them seeing how my sales person was amazing but I won't be taking my truck back there for repairs highly disappointed in the quality of there service department . So i get a call saying my door is fixed and I go to pick it up and look at the door they have painted dirt into my door so my truck is still there ten days later and now it will be another 3 to 4 days before I get my truck back

Showed up looking to purchase a Corvette at Sibbitt Chevrolet. The one they had in stock was not a convertible, so we asked Tim Sibbitt if he could get one. We got a one word reply - "NO". He said the allocation was not there and simply walked away. Never attempted to call GM about getting one, never attempted to call another dealer for a trade, simply just said no. This was a $60,000 car!!! Wound up purchasing from another dealer.
Years later showed up again looking to trade my S-10 for a new Colorado. Sticker price on the Colorado was $28,000, and the initial offer was $24,000 difference - the S-10 had 168,000 miles on it. I offered $20,000 and was told "Oh, no, no, no, we just can't do that." A few days later returned and offered $22,000. They came back at $23,000; I told them the offer was $22,000. Once again "Oh, no, no, no, we just can't do that." Next day went to the same dealer I bought the Corvette from and they beat Sibbitt's price by $3,000. Called Sibbitt back and told them I was walking away because I got a better deal. Then their story changed to "OK, we'll trade for $20,000." After they turned down $22,000 24 hours earlier. They tried to give me some story about how they just got a new rebate in that morning. It was a Friday & the last day of the month - I am not that stupid! Since then I have NEVER been back, and will never go back. I would stay far away from this dealer.

I live over 100 miles from this dealer. Found a 2010 GMC Sierra I was interested in. Asked for negotiating room in their price. Was told they wouldn't budge and price was firm and fair. Two weeks later they lowered the price $2100+ so they just wanted to "wait out" their high price for another buyer hoping to move it at top dollar. Despite numerous attempts to negotiate they would not until they reduced their price. Once reduced, against what I wanted to do because I felt they were not the best to deal with at this point telling me they couldn't move on price but then they did, I inquired on the GMC again and told them I would be interested in looking at it. I gave them my trade in info (less than a year old F-150 so no blemishes, not accidents, no scratches, no room to tell me my trade was in bad shape) and they told me it would be worth $34-$36K. I had offers for my trade by six dealers (local and far away) for $35k and one dealer offering $36k. I specifically told them if they aren't with those other dealers on price for my trade I wasn't interested in coming all the way out there. They told me there was no problem with that. I also asked several questions about their used GMC, one including if it was ever smoked in. I was told no.
I drove all the way out there and the first thing I discovered was that the truck was smoked in. They obviously lied about this to get me out there. They made some story about not knowing it was smoked in and the previous owner of the truck owned some local hotel and as far as they knew, he wasn't a smoker. They knew it had been smoked in as they even had to drive the truck from their Chrysler lot to their Chevrolet lot. Upon meeting with the manager, Jason Thacker, I was told that the value of my truck to them was $33k. I was very angry as now I drove well over 100 miles to see this GMC and was lied to about the smoke in their vehicle and felt lured into coming there when I was promised that they would be right there with those other six dealers in my vehicle's value of $35k, then threw out that. I thought they were trying to put one over on me in one last time with price hoping to make more off of me but he last minute told me they could maybe do $33,500 but that was it for my trade. Obviously this is $1500 less than six other dealers and $2500 less than another dealer just 100 miles West of them in their same state. I expressed my disappointment in their dealership and let them know they basically lured me out to see this vehicle by lying to me twice and the manager had nothing to say except that my trade for some reason wasn't worth anymore than what they quoted (keeping in mind it is less than one year old with 10k miles, no problems or bad history....not like they "found" some damage or it was several years old and upon seeing it they felt it wasn't in the kind of shape they thought it would be). I left without purchasing the vehicle. It was a large waste of my time.
Overall if this dealership treated me this way, others would be treated poorly also. They were very friendly but that's important while trying to lure you in. I do not recommend this dealership to anybody as this is obviously a poor and extremely unethical way of conducting business.
