I recently just bought a new car from Piles Chevrolet in Dry Ridge. I bought a used cruize for my first "big" car purchase and I was honestly kind of nervous! But the people that I worked with at Piles provided an excellent first time buying experience. I worked with Danny Coulson and he was truly the best. He was very helpful, provided excellent suggestions and worked with me to find a car that was the best fit for me! *** DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO JAKE SWEENEY***. I was completely dissatisfied with every step of service for my vehicle. I called on a Monday to make appointment for Friday 5/11/18 I arrived approximately at 9:30 to drop my car off for a diagnosis. I knew that there were two repairs that were needed. I advised two people on the phone what was wrong and then to savannah in person when I dropped my car off. None of which was fully noted or told to the technician. I was not called by the end of the day Friday so I began calling on Saturday morning to see what the status of my car was. I spoke to two different people after several calls that weren't answered I was told I would receive a call back and never did. So thus us day two after having an appointment to only have my car looked at. Nothing for two days so on Monday I began calling again because yet still no return call. I finally got a call back and was asked a fourth time what was wrong with my car. I had to tell the information again! On day three and because my car was just sitting there because they were too busy to look at it I'm on my third day of paying for a rental. The manager Anthony was very unprofessional and rude which I have his voicemail still with his rude message recorded. He was very unapologetic for the way the service was handled for my car didn't think that getting to my car after three days was unreasonable. I'm not sure about anyone else but that is unacceptable to me. He offered no accommodations or accountability for the lack of service and communication and the money it was costing me for their mistakes. Instead tried to justify it by saying when u make an appointment it's not to have your car looked at but simply to drive it through their drop off and that's it. Then they get to it when they can. AGAIN unacceptable. An appointment is an appointment not a drop off. Then they tried over charging me for my repairs. It took a lot of phone calls and threat to the BBB before my total charge was as correct as I could get it. When picking up my car a tech tried to get in my car with my children in the car. I told him to wait I would move the car. He then called me a xxxxx right in front of my children. A second tech tried to get in with my children in the car. That is totally unacceptable. U don't get in a vehicle with someone children in the car. My overall experience was HORRIBLE. I will never go back there and will never refer them. I would highly recommend u take your car somewhere else.

I dealt with four dealerships in three states in the attempt to obtain a truck that met my needs at a price I consider fair. I want to thank Stewart Marsh and Ken Nieman at Joseph Chevrolet who know their product and went the extra mile to make sure my needs and price were met.

Herb Kinman is responsible for the worse car buying and owning experience I have ever had...period. Avoid this place at all costs! Drive a little further and buy from a dealership that doesn't have a "C" rating from the BBB.
I've had 10 lifters replaced in my truck in 4 years. In 2015 I had 2 replaced and was assured by HKC that it wouldn't happen again, that this was a fluke. A few weeks ago another lifter went out. I called HKC and the general managers solution was to sell me a new car.

I called and scheduled an appt to see a vehicle. I spoke to Kelli on the phone who checked to see if that vehicle was available and it was. I scheduled the appt for the next day at 10am. Kelli said it would be ready and sent me a confirmation text with the salesperson name. After the 40 minute drive, I was getting off the exit and Kelli called to tell me the car sold the previous evening. I was furious to say the least! So I basically wasted a half day off work for nothing. I waited about an hour to call and speak to a manager and after several mins on hold, was told he was in a meeting. Prolly just long enough to explain to the manager their screw up. Of course “Walt” was in a meeting so I left a nice message. I know there was not much anyone could/would do, but two minutes to call someone back would have made a world of difference. Instead, nothing! Someone should have called me sooner about the car being sold. The store was opened for an hour prior to my appt. plenty of time to look at the activity from the day before. The manager should have called me back to know what potential customers are experiencing. But, NOTHING!

Well I wrote a review in December because of a leak that was "fixed" at Jeff Schmitt South and am now writing another because I just walked out on my service appointment feeling like driving thru their front showroom. My last review was about the coolant leak that was supposedly fixed last year but a couple months later the coolant light came on. I have been adding coolant myself ever since because they haven't even been doing it at my oil changes, even tho I have told them it's still leaking and physically showed it to the guy at the pre-service inspection at my last one. Now I finally put in my service request that I want them to figure out why it's still leaking because just telling them when I show up hasn't done any good. Today I get called a liar because the service tech(s) didn't put a note on the computer when I told them it was still leaking and that I have to pay a diagnostics fee for SOMETHING THEY GOT PAID ALMOST $500 TO FIX IN THE FIRST PLACE! Why is there a review on this site from the same day I had my last oil change then?? Or why do I have a picture of an empty coolant reservoir that was taken 15 or 20 minutes after I paid for that oil change?? BECAUSE I WAS UPSET THAT NOTHING WAS DONE AFTER I TOLD THEM, NOT EVEN TOPPING OFF THE RESERVOIR!! I was also getting a quote for tires and getting ready to trade my car in on a truck AND buy a car for my daughter and they lost a customer over a diagnostics fee they want to charge me for their repair! Now I am stuck with a car that leaks, unless I want to pay someone else to fix the same thing I paid Jeff Schmitt to fix. When I first took the car in I told them it looked to me like it was the water pump, which is under recall, but NOOO it had to be the water pump OUTLET and cost almost $500 to fix. Then why is it still leaking?? I'll just give my money to that goofball SVG and drive the extra distance before I give Jeff Schmitt any more of it. I got a follow up email from Jeff Schmitt service a couple days after my last review. I replied back to that email with all the issues I've had there and never even got a response after that.

Beginning our family car buying adventure and stopped in to have a look at a couple specific models I had questions about. Was not greeted with a smile or any real enthusiasm and was all but turned away when I made it clear I was not ready to buy that day. Everything is online, anything I show you today will be gone tomorrow, etc. Very dismissive. Patiently explained that we would not be buying anything from anyone before at least eyeballing an example in person. I understand that online research is a big part of the car-buying process in 2018, but I need to see my options in real life before settling on one of the bigger investments we make as a family. Wild, I know. Was once again given a speech about "how it works" and told to come back when we had the finance note from our lender in hand. Er, no. I'm a potential customer and when I come in and say, "Hello, could you quickly show me X, Y and Z?" the only acceptable answer is "Of course, no problem. What can I do to earn your business?" You've got me in YOUR showroom, so sell me on something!
Finally got her to show me a couple after literally having to argue my case to be treated seriously, but by then I was turned off by the condescension and poor salesmanship. We are not same-day buyers regardless of how fast your inventory moves. Asked yet again about when I'd be coming in with the financing and my husband which was...not smooth. Oy! Bye, girl. Plenty of cars across the street. Real lack of subtlety here, guys. What a bummer!

Went to look at used cars. Found one I thought and the next day went to pick it up. Got home with it and there were all kinds of problems. I had so much trouble. They promised a full tank of gas and I had to beg for that. I'm a disabled vet who was looking for a reliable used car. I thought this was the place but, I wouldn't recommend them to any service member or retired service member. Save your money. Don't be like me and lose it. Never again.

when We got to the dealership we met Austin at he salesman and he was super pushy from the start. Only asked us for the sale and nothing about us as people. On Friday night me and my wife drive a Jeep, we liked it but weren’t ready to sign papers that night since it was closing time and we had both worked all day. I asked the salesman to call me in the morning, when he did I informed him we would be coming in that day (Saturday) to negotiate a little and if I worked out we would buy the Jeep. 3 hours later when I’m on my way home from work to head to the lot I got a text saying they sold the Jeep followed by an LMAO. I got upset and texted the sales manager asking for him to communicate with me on Monday to talk about what happened and I have yet to hear from him. I would not recommend this dealership to my enemy let along a friend.

I bought a Chevy Silverado on 03/22/04 and on 03/24/04 I took it to Midas and they advised me that the 4 Wheel Drive was not working due to a part missing. I bought the truck as is however, I think that Apple should of paid for the part due to the fact that the part wasn't cracked or broke it was MISSING. I called the dealership and asked them if they would reimburse me for the part missing and they told me no. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone that wants to buy a used car. I thought that they were a good enough business that they would stand behind something like that. Now, if it had been 2-4 weeks later I would totally understand for them not to pay for it. But Midas told me that if I would of drove it 50 miles more then the whole rear end would of gone out. I am very upset and I hope people see this and decide to go somewhere else.

I first went to Tom Gill in Florence KY and walked out as soon as prices were mentioned. A few weeks later went to Columbia and had the best experience I could have asked for. I was greeted by Mike the salesman and he was very helpful and friendly from the start. Long story short, I wound up walking away with a brand new 2012 Chevy Cruze leased for a very very reasonable price. My trade in was accepted and Mike did not hesitate to work around a budget that fit me perfectly. It seems like he was doing everything possible to make me a great deal. I loved the experience and will recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking. I will definitely make the drive from KY to Columbia Chevy for anything...well worth the time.

I took my 2014 Silverado In for oil change and tire ration and they called me and said that the mechanic tripped over the air hose and it dented and scratched my truck. They said that they we're gonna put touch up paint on it which I refused that they use touch up paint seeing how there's a dent also and it's only six months old and 38000 dollars I expected higher quality out of them seeing how my sales person was amazing but I won't be taking my truck back there for repairs highly disappointed in the quality of there service department . So i get a call saying my door is fixed and I go to pick it up and look at the door they have painted dirt into my door so my truck is still there ten days later and now it will be another 3 to 4 days before I get my truck back

Showed up looking to purchase a Corvette at Sibbitt Chevrolet. The one they had in stock was not a convertible, so we asked Tim Sibbitt if he could get one. We got a one word reply - "NO". He said the allocation was not there and simply walked away. Never attempted to call GM about getting one, never attempted to call another dealer for a trade, simply just said no. This was a $60,000 car!!! Wound up purchasing from another dealer.
Years later showed up again looking to trade my S-10 for a new Colorado. Sticker price on the Colorado was $28,000, and the initial offer was $24,000 difference - the S-10 had 168,000 miles on it. I offered $20,000 and was told "Oh, no, no, no, we just can't do that." A few days later returned and offered $22,000. They came back at $23,000; I told them the offer was $22,000. Once again "Oh, no, no, no, we just can't do that." Next day went to the same dealer I bought the Corvette from and they beat Sibbitt's price by $3,000. Called Sibbitt back and told them I was walking away because I got a better deal. Then their story changed to "OK, we'll trade for $20,000." After they turned down $22,000 24 hours earlier. They tried to give me some story about how they just got a new rebate in that morning. It was a Friday & the last day of the month - I am not that stupid! Since then I have NEVER been back, and will never go back. I would stay far away from this dealer.

I live over 100 miles from this dealer. Found a 2010 GMC Sierra I was interested in. Asked for negotiating room in their price. Was told they wouldn't budge and price was firm and fair. Two weeks later they lowered the price $2100+ so they just wanted to "wait out" their high price for another buyer hoping to move it at top dollar. Despite numerous attempts to negotiate they would not until they reduced their price. Once reduced, against what I wanted to do because I felt they were not the best to deal with at this point telling me they couldn't move on price but then they did, I inquired on the GMC again and told them I would be interested in looking at it. I gave them my trade in info (less than a year old F-150 so no blemishes, not accidents, no scratches, no room to tell me my trade was in bad shape) and they told me it would be worth $34-$36K. I had offers for my trade by six dealers (local and far away) for $35k and one dealer offering $36k. I specifically told them if they aren't with those other dealers on price for my trade I wasn't interested in coming all the way out there. They told me there was no problem with that. I also asked several questions about their used GMC, one including if it was ever smoked in. I was told no.
I drove all the way out there and the first thing I discovered was that the truck was smoked in. They obviously lied about this to get me out there. They made some story about not knowing it was smoked in and the previous owner of the truck owned some local hotel and as far as they knew, he wasn't a smoker. They knew it had been smoked in as they even had to drive the truck from their Chrysler lot to their Chevrolet lot. Upon meeting with the manager, Jason Thacker, I was told that the value of my truck to them was $33k. I was very angry as now I drove well over 100 miles to see this GMC and was lied to about the smoke in their vehicle and felt lured into coming there when I was promised that they would be right there with those other six dealers in my vehicle's value of $35k, then threw out that. I thought they were trying to put one over on me in one last time with price hoping to make more off of me but he last minute told me they could maybe do $33,500 but that was it for my trade. Obviously this is $1500 less than six other dealers and $2500 less than another dealer just 100 miles West of them in their same state. I expressed my disappointment in their dealership and let them know they basically lured me out to see this vehicle by lying to me twice and the manager had nothing to say except that my trade for some reason wasn't worth anymore than what they quoted (keeping in mind it is less than one year old with 10k miles, no problems or bad history....not like they "found" some damage or it was several years old and upon seeing it they felt it wasn't in the kind of shape they thought it would be). I left without purchasing the vehicle. It was a large waste of my time.
Overall if this dealership treated me this way, others would be treated poorly also. They were very friendly but that's important while trying to lure you in. I do not recommend this dealership to anybody as this is obviously a poor and extremely unethical way of conducting business.
