When I finally received the merchandise I had two of the same product. When I return the merchandise I was informed that I would be charged with restocking fee on top of the shipping fee associated with the merchandise. Will not buy any more parts from them!

I will absolutely never do business with Ray Skillman ever again. Took my car to Ray Skillman in Martinsville because my power train light came on and I have a warranty. Took them 2 days of waiting for a diagnosis just for them to send it to Townsend Transmission. My warranty only paid for 10 days of a rental, which should be more than enough time for a transmission shop to rebuild a transmission. I heard excuse after excuse as to why it wasn't done. At the end of the 10 days, Ray Skillman told me that if I didn't turn my rental car in, I would be responsible for paying for it from that point forward with no other options offered to me other than just be without a car and wait. At that point they said it wasn't done because of a delay from the warranty company and part availability and it would be done within 2-3 days. That was almost a week ago. I called my warranty and that was not the case, they said it was handled very poorly by the dealer and that was the reason for the delay. I asked for a loaner, and they said they don't have any at all anymore. I asked to speak to the service manager and I was told he wasn't there and was offered no other solution. I have a job. My daughter has appointments she has to go to. I take my daughter to school in the mornings. I need my vehicle, and this is just absolutely unacceptable. I understand that things happen and part delay happens. BUT the fact that this delay is completely out of my control I would expect they provide me something to drive since this is my primary vehicle, and by the time it finally gets fixed (supposedly) i would have been without a car for 10 days with zero solution other than to wait. Every dealer i have ever dealt with has ALWAYS offered a loaner of some sort if I am going to be without a vehicle for an extended period of time. I dropped my car off October 4th, and now i am being told it will not be done until Friday or Saturday maybe. Never again will I do any business with Ray Skillman. This has been the worst dealer experience i have ever had.

I called Andy Mohr Service Dept. today and even though they were so busy, Mike said to have our driver stop in and they will hook it up to diagnose the issue and they resolved it within minutes and our guy was back on the road! You don’t come across this too often but I just want to recommend them for their hospitable service!

Brandon Reed was our finance manager and he show us several different was to save money for future repairs and made a few phone calls right in front of us giving the banks a hard time about getting us the best rate possible which he did! Also he was very knowledgeable in answering all our questions which we had so many lol being our first F-150. Evan after a couple of days he called us to see if we had any follow up questions which I have to say I had never had that happen before so needless to say I was very impressed. I highly recommend this place to anyone that looking for not just a good vehicle but great service!

Google only allows you to make one review ever of a business. So since a couple years ago I complained of how Dorsett Nissan damaged my vehicle while in for service I cannot make any other reviews. So I am on another website. Service Manager Chad told me a part was covered under the power train warranty. Then explained my warranty expired at 50,000 miles I paid for the service. Then I read my paperwork and discovered the warranty is good through 100,000 miles. After calling back they explained the service is over. So I escalated it and called Nissan Customer service who backed their dealership and said even if they told me incorrectly that is my issue not theirs. How would you like to be told something just to have it disregarded. Well if you like that treatment Dorsett is your place. Read my last review from like 2 years ago. I’ve bought my last 3 vehicles from Nissan. Sorry to say now I understand how the entire company works not just the local dealership. My business will go elsewhere as well as any and every recommendation I can make.

After purchasing several vehicles from this dealership, and working with previous service manager’s Josh Clark is by far the worst I have ever attempted to work with. On one visit I overheard him being rude with another customer on my next visit he refused to even speak with me about my vehicle. I attempted to contact the service department for a week by because I was out of town and only reached an answering machine each time. I left multiple messages and he refused to call me back. As a result of this individual they have lost a good customer and I personally would not recommend them to anyone in the future.

BUYER BEWARE! If you're buying a car from them online or from another state they won't help you once it's off their lot. We were told by the salesperson (Dave) that there was no damage to the body of the vehicle. He showed us the vehicle via facetime and were pleased with the condition so moved forward with the purchase. We had the car delivered because we live in a different state. The car is an expensive vehicle and we also purchased warranties. Upon the car delivery we immediately spotted a dent in the front bumper while the driver was still here. I believe this happened on their lot since there is an extensive crash detection system on the car. We promptly called Dave and he refused to help. We then called and left a message for the general manager. No one from the dealer has called us or tried to rectify the issue. ONCE IT IS OFF THEIR LOT THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU IF THERE IS A PROBLEM!!

2. The pictures of the truck did not show the bed. Once it arrived (after papers were signed), it had hundreds of horrible scratches in the bed. I am not paying thousands of dollars for a spray in liner, so I purchased a bed mat for $150.00 and a tail gate mat for $65.00. Was not at all happy about that for what we are paying on that.
3. The truck was given to us on empty. Had to fuel it up to simply get home. Should have been fueled up.
4. The oil was due to be changed within 1,000 miles of us receiving it. Should have been a fresh oil change.
5. I had to make an extra trip in for the 2nd key and the license plate bracket.
Felt like they hoodwinked us!
