The only downside of my experience is that I moved after I paid off my last car (financed through ford credit) and apparently ford credit can't find a copy of the title or tell me definitively where it was sent. But other than that it was a pleasant experience.

I tried to get an oil change yesterday at Bill Brown. I stood outside the front door from 7:45am until 8:00am, when the door opened for business. I was first in line because I had been sitting in the parking lot for an hour making sure I would be first or second. When I made it up to the counter I was told I needed an appointment, even though I had a letter from BB saying "as always, no appointment necessary." I had cancelled a previous appointment I had made because I got a message left on my phone saying I would need a ride to and from the dealership because it would take a number of hours, if not more than a day to get an oil change. The lease is up in two months and I am really curious to know how likely Bill Brown thinks it is that I will make the same mistake twice, "VERY LIKELY, SOMEWHAT LIKELY, or NOT A CHANCE IN STINKING F*****G xxxx." Update: The salesman who leased the car to me three years ago contacted me regarding the problem I detailed above and did his best to set things straight. Actions like that go a long way to ameliorate negative experiences.

I keep coming to Crest because of the competitive pricing, fast service, quality work, great customer service, and the waiting room being clean and comfortable. Tony has always taken good care of my Ford 2011 Fiesta (great car). Even when Tony isnt in, the representative's are always respectful and keep me up to date on the work being done just as Tony has done. They always give the car a thorough check and report any issues prior to starting work. Recently, I hadn't used Sync in a while and suddenly wasn't working. Tony connected my phone in no time thus saving time for technicians. Bottom line is I had forgotten that I had purchased a new phone. Its a great team and I always recommend Crest to my friends.

I work at a Chrysler dealership but purchased a Ford Taurus SHO from the used car department. The car became super underpowered and was stalling, brought it into my service department and they took the car to Avis Ford. a week later the car is "fixed" and back at my dealership. Drove the car for not even 5 minutes and the same issue came back only worse. It's now burning oil and smoking from the exhaust. I'm almost certain the cause is a bad turbo/turbos which I've said from the beginning. They replaced the timing chain and guides for nothing. Car will be going back tomorrow and hopefully someone with more knowledge will work on it this time and figure out what I already know.

I recently contacted Blackwell Ford to have the timing belt replaced on my SVT Focus. My interaction with Patrick Sullivan, Assistant Service Manager was pleasant at first. Prompt responses and gave me an estimate fairly quickly. Once I received the estimate though, things began to quickly go down hill.
Patrick had my vehicles VIN number to do the parts lookup. I was quoted for a timing belt and the various pullys to go with it, only to then have Patrick come back and tell me that his technician said "that year and model of focus has a timing chain rather than a belt", which is pretty concerning for a Dealership Technician to give such an incorrect response. I also do not know how Patrick did not tell the Technician that no timing chains came up when searching for parts with my VIN.
When I call Patrick out on the SVT engine having a timing belt and not a timing chain, he proceeds to try and lie telling me that there were two 2.0 engine used in the SVT for 2004. A basic google search can prove that is demonstrably false.
Assistant Service Manager Patrick then proceeds to tell me that they do not have to remove the valve cover to service the timing belt, and tries to get me to agree to paying an additional $200 in labor for the valve cover gasket to be replaced. The 2004 Workshop Manual from Ford calls for the Valve Cover to be removed during the timing belt replacement, as you can see in my screenshots below.
Fed up with Patrick, in my next email asking about their service warranty among other things I ask him to CC the service manager, Ed Waldron. Patrick CC'd Ed and ignored my questions. Two days pass, and Service Manager Ed Waldron never responds to my email I sent asking about their service warranty. I send Ed and Patrick another email today asking about the service warranty and asking him to clear up the confusion on the procedure they would take to replace my timing belt. After 6.5 business hours I still did not receive an email response from either of them addressing my questions and concerns.
Do not trust these service managers as far as you can throw them. They will lie directly to you so they can stroke their ego and never be wrong. My family will not be renewing their leases at this location either, which is a shame because they live at most 1 mile away.

Even after I told the dealership that I was going to use my credit union for financing. They shopped my credit to many finance companies, some I never heard of. My guess is they get paid from these companies just to supply my information. Now I have to opt out from each of these to stop getting even more unsolicited offers. This practice needs to stop.0
