Purchase vehicle and got stuck with an instant lemon with no help to solve the
issue ! Worst car I've ever owned! The second day after I bought the vehicle it already had to be brought back to the shop which then I was pretty much told that what I heard could not be heard by the mechanics. Have only owned the vehicle for 7 months and have had it back to them six to seven times with no good results in the end. I have never had such a horrible experience in my life and I would never recommend this place to anybody. It's sad to know that people that work so hard and live on a budget are screwed over so badly and given lemons. I will be contacting my lawyer and seeing what can be done to check into the Lemon Law due to non-stop complications since day one. What is the worst about the situation is if things would have been handled in the very beginning I wouldn't be stuck with such a horrible vehicle 7 months later if it would have been resolved the very first week when all the issues began to happen.

I highly regret ever going to McFadden’s friendly motors!!! Being a new mother, looking for a safe vehicle and being to trusting. It started off with them having me sign in the co-signer spot and when i questioned it they stated “oh, don’t worry about that because it doesn’t actually matter where you sign”, then a few days later they stated they needed a new copy of my social security card because they didn’t “have a clear copy” and that i could just send a picture of it to them. A week later i tried to make my car payment and the loan agency had NO account for me and when i called mcfaddens they claimed that it was correct and that no account was created because they sent my BIRTHDATE in as my SSN! And they tried to make it sound like it wasn’t a big deal and said that it happens at least 2 times a month!! At that time they stated that they told the loan agency to take the payment out of mcfaddens account and made me write out a check to mcfaddens to “reimburse them” for making my payment and so i did which I later found out that they did not pay until i was 20 days late which means they lied about paying and took my money when there was no account. Sadly the stress continued when a couple weeks later they called me again and stated that the loan agency was able to run my correct ssn and that the entire contract i had was void and that i had to come sign a new contract with a different interest rate, less months to pay off, and a higher monthly payment. When i told them i was not signing anything else they continued to text and call me trying to bribe me by offering to fill my tank and when i quit replying they started offering a $100 gas card to come sign the new contract because I’ve had to make a half hour drive every time they found another error. Then out of nowhere they text me saying how they “bent over backwards” for me and got the original contract “pushed through” after i told them i did not want the car anymore and they stated “well there’s nothing i can do about that.” They also reran my credit at that time with no consent from me. Now it’s 2 months after i signed the original contract and i got a letter stating that my gap coverage had been canceled and when i called they stated that mcfaddens cancelled it on April 11 and called back to reinstate it on April 12. I asked what would have made them cancel it and they said the only reason would be if i requested to cancel it or if i refinanced the vehicle which i did not either. Mcfaddens is nothing but a scam and they did a lot of fraudulent actions with me when all i tried to do was get a vehicle that fit my family’s needs that was in my budget

Grand Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Lowell is the place to service your vehicle. Over the last 13 years we've owend a 2003 Dodge Stratus, a 2006 Grand Caravan, and a 2012 Grand Caravan and the service we have received has been amazing. They saved me hundreds of dollars not replacing a power steering pump on the '06 - just needed a flush when everyone else said it was failing. They have recommended necessary work but also frequently recommend work that can be delayed and talk through the risks so you can make the decision even if it isn't in their financial interest. Having been a customer previously at the bigger dealership in Grand Rapids, this dealership is hands down better, cheaper, and more customer friendly. If you buy the vehicle they even have free loaner cars when it is serviced. It hasn't lost its small-town feel even with it changing hands a few years back. HIGHLY recommended.

We purchased our first Van at Preferred in 2010 and followed up in 2017 with a Chrysler Pacifica. we have had them serviced when in Michigan entirely by Preferred and have been excessively pleased with the purchase procedures and service. In every way they have met or exceeded their words. In one instances we were scheduled to be leaving the state for a time when an accident threaten our plans. The Pacifica was a newly redesigned model and a check with Glass companies indicated tailgate glass was not readily available. Preferred body shop expedited shipment, replaced the glass and tailgate hinges and repaired other damage in three days resulting in but a one day delay. They have provided free oil changes and fast service. In every way we are confirmed Preferred Chrysler customers

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership not too long ago. I found it through an online site that has Preferred's inventory listed. I submitted my information online and I was contacted immediately and personally. The sales person was pretty laid back and didn't pressure me to come in so I inquired about the vehicle I was interested in and I was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule. I was greeted by several of the staff when I came in for my appointment and they were all very friendly. They didn't act like vultures like some other places. They also didn't stop being friendly when they knew I was there to see a specific person, which happens to be Ben Jaehnig. I liked that I could deal directly with a manager during the process. Everything went so smoothly for me and my wife. Granted, it took a while for financing and stuff because we don't have the absolute best of credit (some debt) but all in all it was pretty painless. I want to note, because the previous reviewer commented on this, that several times Ben reminded us that because it was a used "as is" vehicle we should have it inspected by our own mechanic. We did this. There were some issues but not enough that we wouldn't buy the car. So we knew going into it that it was on our heads if something went wrong. We had to sign papers saying that we were aware that it was "as is". I just want to note this since the previous reviewer failed to say this although I think most intelligent people could figure it out. Anyway, I think that this is a great dealership to work with. It's nice that they have several options for financing (Lori Kowalski is great) and that they don't look down on you if you don't have the best of credit. We needed a decent vehicle at a certain price and they were able to get it for us, all with genuine smiles on their faces. I think this dealership is great and when some of our debt is paid down we will be returning to get another vehicle. We especially will be returning to Ben. Unlike what the other reviewer said, he is an honest, laid-back, friendly sales person. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
