I found the vehicle with Carguru.com and reached Dale Howard Inc who in turn replied to my email very fast. I asked a few questions by phone and drove the 1.5 hours to test drive a 2020 one owner Ford Escape. Jerod informed me what the previous owner traded for and explained the many features of this newer SUV. He accommodated my 8 yr. old grandson with a USB port for the switch game in the waiting area. He answered many questions and before we knew it, after a test drive -- we were in discussion of financing and had the trade in estimate. Bob helped get our credit history set up quickly and Jerry offered an Allstate plan at the final signing. We were treated with respect and felt the friendly smiles by all the employees. This place knows teamwork and how to make my wife and I feel very much at ease during the process.

Absolutely the best truck buying experience! We drove 6 hours from Kansas to look at a truck and Dave had it ready and greeted us right away. The price was fantastic, and customer service was even better! We were treated like locals and even sent back to Kansas with a full tank of gas!! Well worth the drive!

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I'm about fed up. The sales person I worked with was great until the deal was done and he got his commission. After that he ignored my messages and calls. Then i had to schedule an appointment to get the bodywork done and fender flares put on (that I didn't want). Was told by their service department that the work should take 1-2 days to complete. I called on day 4 only to find that they had no idea whether the work had been done or not and that they would find out and call me back (still waiting for that call). I really wanted to enjoy my experience and return for business but I just don't feel great about the situation. Customer satisfaction should be rule #1!

Initially, I thought this would be a great experience. Overall, things were going smoothly. We found a vehicle that met our daughters needs, I test drove it, she test drove it, all was good. We wanted to buy. There was some slight damage the passenger side mirror and I asked the sales person if this would be repaired by the dealership. He said yes it would.
We went inside and began negotiating the sale and this went true to fashion where I made requests and the salesperson went back and forth between the sales manager to get "approval." We agreed on a reduced price, purchased the vehicle, and went to the service department to get the part ordered to repair the mirror.
A week after the sale, I had to call to see if the part had arrived. It had and was sitting there. They then told me that they were going to have to charge full price for the repair since they gave me such a "good" deal on the car even though they had verbally agreed to cover the repair cost. The sales manager then claimed that because it wasn't written down that he didn't realize this was part of the deal and would have never agreed to this. He also claimed that he sat with me in person and negotiated the deal when he never even entered the salesman's office. Likewise, they are trying to avoid ownership of responsibility because their staff did not communicate with one another.
I would not recommend this dealership. You can find good vehicles, with similar prices, and be treated fairly and ethically somewhere else.
Blew a sale - Fisherman
I told the salesman I was going to buy a truck. I showed him the one I wanted and asked if all the accessories came with it at the price he told me and he said yes. I signed the purchase agreement and planned to return the next day to pick up the truck. I got a text from the sales manager saying I would have to pay an extra $1500 for the truck because of the accessories. After several calls and their unwillingness to honor the agreement I went to another dealer who gave me a better deal on the same truck after hearing what I had been thru. I will never step foot on Dave Wright’s lot again. The vehicle was a 21019 Honda Ridgeline. I was not given the option to select Honda in the section below so I just picked one.
