Went in to purchase a truck, took the truck on a test drive it drove great looked great and I couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Or so I thought I ended up purchasing the truck. As the weather started to get warmer out I took the truck to the car wash and after it went through the car was paint started falling off. I contacted my salesperson and told him what was going on. My sales person and I talked about not seeing any issues when I test drove the truck initially he then had his collision center quote me on what it was going to cost me to have the damage fixed. After paying$1,700 dollars worth of repairs you can tell the job was rushed as there is still defects in the paint. Needless to say they have lost my business and I will no longer be referring anyone to this dealer.

We reside in Ankeny, Iowa and have for years purchased several vehicles locally. It normally would have taken “an act of Congress” to get us to make a purchase in another community. However, we decided to give Granger Motors an opportunity to sway us in their direction. Upon arrival we were met by sales consultant Angel Urenda. Angel was both pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. He managed to get us a very satisfactory price on our trade vehicle and even arranged to have an aftermarket item on our trade vehicle removed and returned to us at no extra cost. We love our new Ram 2500 Crew Cab and will definitely make Granger Motors our first stop for future purchases.

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I'm about fed up. The sales person I worked with was great until the deal was done and he got his commission. After that he ignored my messages and calls. Then i had to schedule an appointment to get the bodywork done and fender flares put on (that I didn't want). Was told by their service department that the work should take 1-2 days to complete. I called on day 4 only to find that they had no idea whether the work had been done or not and that they would find out and call me back (still waiting for that call). I really wanted to enjoy my experience and return for business but I just don't feel great about the situation. Customer satisfaction should be rule #1!

Well, went to trade in the wifes 2011 Ford Explorer today, nothing wrong 139,000 miles. Now at June 2019 and was told sorry your vehicle has a car fax report from a dealer repair at 30,000 says it was in an accident in 2013 two owners ago. Holy crap that's nice to know at least it was fixed correctly by a dealer, I think to myself. Their response is nope sorry, can't give you trade on what it's worth. It has orginal title. When did car fax rule between original title and salvage title?

Have had my truck to more times than I can remember for the same issue. They cant fix it. They keep tell me ford says do this ford says do that.Its the same thing every time. You can do the same thing and expect a different out come. They wont stand up to ford and say that does not fix the problem. Then when you raise your voice to them because you play their game long enough the tell you if you don't like like it take your truck someplace else when they have done all the work kind of hard to bring another mechanic in to the middle of a screw up. THEY COULD CARE LESS IF THEY FIX YOUR STUFF AS LONG AS THEY GET THEIR MONEY!

Initially, I thought this would be a great experience. Overall, things were going smoothly. We found a vehicle that met our daughters needs, I test drove it, she test drove it, all was good. We wanted to buy. There was some slight damage the passenger side mirror and I asked the sales person if this would be repaired by the dealership. He said yes it would.
We went inside and began negotiating the sale and this went true to fashion where I made requests and the salesperson went back and forth between the sales manager to get "approval." We agreed on a reduced price, purchased the vehicle, and went to the service department to get the part ordered to repair the mirror.
A week after the sale, I had to call to see if the part had arrived. It had and was sitting there. They then told me that they were going to have to charge full price for the repair since they gave me such a "good" deal on the car even though they had verbally agreed to cover the repair cost. The sales manager then claimed that because it wasn't written down that he didn't realize this was part of the deal and would have never agreed to this. He also claimed that he sat with me in person and negotiated the deal when he never even entered the salesman's office. Likewise, they are trying to avoid ownership of responsibility because their staff did not communicate with one another.
I would not recommend this dealership. You can find good vehicles, with similar prices, and be treated fairly and ethically somewhere else.

Blew a sale - Fisherman
I told the salesman I was going to buy a truck. I showed him the one I wanted and asked if all the accessories came with it at the price he told me and he said yes. I signed the purchase agreement and planned to return the next day to pick up the truck. I got a text from the sales manager saying I would have to pay an extra $1500 for the truck because of the accessories. After several calls and their unwillingness to honor the agreement I went to another dealer who gave me a better deal on the same truck after hearing what I had been thru. I will never step foot on Dave Wright’s lot again. The vehicle was a 21019 Honda Ridgeline. I was not given the option to select Honda in the section below so I just picked one.
