Long story short, my wife wanted a a ford edge and i wanted it to be a specific year based on reliability reasons. Within a week I spoke to 3 different dealerships as each had the ford edge in the year i was looking for. Each time the car supposedly sold right before i made it to the dealers to purchase. The last straw was the third time. I wasn't sure if they were all telling the truth or trying to bait and switch to up sell me something else. The last dealer this happened with was Buss Ford. However, Ray Silvey at Buss Ford let me know that a former customer expressed potential interest in the same vehicle earlier in the day. Being that she expressed a potential interest, technically before i did, and was a former customer they let her test drive and take the car for the night to see if she would like it. As my luck would go, she bought it. I was quit annoyed, and disappointed to say the least. Especially since this seemed to keep happening to me. Unbeknownst to me, Ray Silvey, whom had been helping me at Buss Ford went searching for a ford edge in the year i wanted but also for similar suv's as the ford edge. I wasn't interested in any and was dead set on the ford edge. Then Ray called me and was adamant i had to come in and look at a gmc acadia he found. I reluctantly did go and look at it and ended up taking him up on his offer to take it for the night to see what my wife and kids thought. This ended up being the best decision I could have made! My wife loved it, my kids fell in love with it, and it grew on me, all in one night! We went the next day and bought it! Ray went above and beyond what i expected out of any sales person. Heck none of the other dealers ever even called me back after selling their ford edges. If it wasn't for Ray we would have never bought a GMC Acadia, which is way better than the ford edge! Ray was fantastic as well as Buss Fords service! There was a minor issue that popped up on the vehicle the next day. When I brought it to Rays attention, He and Buss Ford took care of it with no questions asked. Very impressive service! This is important because i have heard horror stories of people buying a car from a dealer only to have a problem shortly after and the dealer doesn't care because its your car now. I have always hated going to car dealerships and dealing with the sales people. Because of this i tend to purchase all my vehicles privately, not anymore. All my future vehicle purchases will most likely all be with Buss Ford. It truly does feel like once you purchase a vehicle from them you are part of the family and they will take care of you for life. Great place, great employees, great service. Cant go wrong here! Purchase with piece of mind!

When I bought the vehicle the door panel light was not working. The problem was not fixed. I also had a jerk in the shift that they say couldn't be found. I left the car for almost two weeks and couldn't work because it's a Livery vehicle.

I wouldn’t recommend the service department at all! Very slow and couldn’t fix my car the first two times. Even though we were told that it would be fixed in a few hours the second visit. Third service appointment was promised a loaner car ... not a problem they told my husband . Get there to drop off the car and no loaner car. Wanted to rent a car for me . I said I wasn’t going to pay for a rental. They said they would cover it. Had to wait for the rental car... it gets there and it’s a huge pickup truck! They wanted a $50 deposit from me since I was the one renting it.. ummm no. Dealer should cover all of that . Not my mistake.... knowing you had a Very unhappy customer after the second appointment....wouldn’t you make sure that everything was in order for the next appointment . Service manager didn’t realize the loan car wasn’t returned till I got there at 8. Lack of follow through and making sure your customer is happy. Thank goodness the repairs are under warranty because I would never bring my car back for another service! So much for trying to stay local and support businesses in the neighborhood ! Loved our salesman Al. He was fantastic! Service department ... not so much.

I came for an oil change and because I received an email that I was due for an 85,000 mile service, I asked for that service and I also asked for my brakes to be checked. At the last several oil changes my brakes were not checked. The two persons at the desk both told me I didn’t need service until 90,000 miles. I showed my email about the 85,000 service from Tom Peck Ford but they said it meant oil change. I had the oil change which was fine but they did not check my brakes. I insisted they check my brakes even though the oil change was completed and car waiting for me to leave. They then took the car back and checked the brakes. I don’t think I should have to argue and insist for my brakes to be checked. I am now still receiving emails that my 85,000 service is overdue! I bought my car at this dealership and had every service, new tires, new brakes, everything has always been done here.

A terrible experience. They cant perform their own recalls in a timely manner. They kept my car several days longer then they suggested without giving me a loaner and when I suggested I test drive one for a couple days while they fix their recall they chuckled & said "oh absolutely not

Brought my new 19 F-150 in Sept in for service on Tue Jan 14. Have a small paint flaw on hood and a question regarding my aftermarket remote start. Oil change was fine but was told I would hear back from service on the paint problem in 24 to 48 hrs. and they would contact the aftermarket person to reach out to me, after four calls and texts and emails it is now Jan. 21 and I have nothing about either issue. Sales were fine, service seems ok but if you need follow up, be prepared for a wait.

Very upset with this ford dealer I've been buying ford vehicles since 2005. Now i bought a 2019 ford explorer very upset been having problems a leak in the back the rack keeps popping up. I took it back 3 times still leaking and the rack still popping up very upset they aren't able to fix it. Now I'm taking it back for the fourth time. Water damage is not good could cause mildew and can cause a short and rust I'm very upset. Not happy at all

On my F-150, the climate control fan switch was stuck on high fan.
I called on Friday to see if they can do it. I was informed be the receptionist that bring it in on Saturday,
They will fix it in few hours. I did not believe that, so I stop on Saturday at the dealer so I could talked with them and they can write it up.
I left my truck at the Dundee Ford on Sunday night, so the boys can have a geed,Monday morning start.
I wrote the night drop envelope and went home.
After all, there is noting to worry about. I took it to the finest.
At 9am I get the call from the “advisor” Tom, to inform me the it will be $700 to fix it, (they have to take the dashboard apart)
OK, do it.
At 1600 hr, I get a call from my “advisor” that they have to dig “deeper”To fix it and they must take more of the dashboard apart. That will be another $700 bacarus. I said, NO. I want my truck back.
Tom suggested to see what he can do for me and he will call me back. Few minutes later, price dropped by $300.
So now is $1200.00 and another day at the dealer.
Picked up the truck on Tuesday night and guess what, fan is still stuck as I told them to fix it.
Left my truck there Tuesday night.
Wednesday morning got call from Tom, the “advisor”, at 10 am , that it will be on other $140 to fix it, they have to take the dashboard apart again but, this time they will NOT charge me for it, just parts.
At 1 pm, Tom call me that I can pick-up my truck.
They got me for $1,350 from the original try for $1,400, after all, they are the professionals.
I’m just a guy with a truck.
Do your self a favor, do not go to Dundee Ford, shop around.
I found out that Dundee Ford is not a respectable Ford dealership but a bunch of con artists and crooks.
Never again I will go to Dundee Ford and I strongly recommend to you to not to go to Dundee Ford in East Dundee.

I bought a Ford Focus a few years back from Hopkins Ford, and it was a relatively decent and hassle-free deal. I really like the car. BUT, now that is a couple of years old (I still have 36 payments), sales people call me to trade it in EVERY F**KING day! I DON'T WANT TO BUY ANOTHER CAR. STOP CALLING ME!!! I got 5 voicemails from the same lady in 9 days. If it's not calls, it's emails; if it's not emails, it is texts. LEAVE ME ALONE. I will never, ever set foot back in this dealership because of your daily harassment.

Michelle in the quicklane went above and beyond to make what could have been an agonizing afternoon as pleasant as possible and went above and beyond in customer service . I had my pup with me they brought him out water. There was tv, internet they even offered my snacks. However, I did the survey and someone e mailed me from customer service saying they won't post my review and gave ridiculous excuses. They only want 5 stars.
