I spent considerable time and effort visiting dealerships looking for the right car but more importantly the right people to buy it from. You would think with so much competition that distinguishing yourself as a dealership would be common sense. The problem is that most dealerships distinguish themselves in the wrong direction using negative unscrupulous selling tactics. Conversely some try and do it with a new building or outlandish amenities. The problem is that what people are really interested in is a simple no nonsense friendly honest experience. Bill Kay Nissan delivered on all these. It's not a fancy dealership and in fact the facilities look a little dated but the people inside are just genuinely nice folks that seem to always be in a good mood to the extent of singing along with the showroom music. In fact it's the only place I heard music playing. They were confident about Nissan products and knew the car I was interested in with the ability to share and educate in a comprehensive manner. I was assisted by Miguel Pagan and Louis Ruiz from test driving through all the aspects of car buying such as financing and warranties. They provided valuable insight in choosing the correct used vehicle based on past history and were able to verify service records. They seemed to genuinely advocate on my behalf trying to get me the best pricing on the vehicle, warranty, and pricing on a remote start I inquired about. I think I got a fair deal but most importantly I fell I was treated respectfully and fairly. At the end of the day this is what you want from the transaction, not to be taken advantage of and leave with a vehicle that fits you and your needs. It also felt like it was the beginning of a relationship where I could find future support if needed.

Not the greatest credit! I was scared to even try to get a new car! Ended up with a beauty 2017 black shiny new Versa! Kind and not pushy! Kevin and the entire team made me feel so comfortable and not embarrassed! Finance man Dan treated me so kindly! Great experience!

Crooks and Liars - Jeeplove
This place is HORRIBLE!! After finding a car online that I liked I submitted a credit app. I got called by these guys and they ran my credit. I have no credit, never had anything financed ever! No debt, $5000 a month income with proof, and a fully paid for Range Rover for trade in. They assured me I was approved and harassed me all day until I came down. When I got there they showed me the car. Then they started with BS that is would be hard to get me approved. While I was sitting there VW called and told me they had me fully approved and ever went over the financing, interest rate and payments for a 2018 VW Passet, however I didn’t want a $30,000 car. These guys come back and tell me they can’t get me approved with ANYONE on the car I wanted, but I could drive out of here with a 2015 Corolla. I drove it and agreed and then more BS happens. Then someone from finance comes out and says my bank statements and income verification from the employer isn’t good enough. The xxxxxx throws the papers at me and gets up and walks away. I leave and call VW back. Sitting in my garage right now is a brand new 2018 VW Passet R-Line. Didn’t have the first issue. However these idiots couldn’t get me approved on a $20,000 Nissan. Don’t even waste your time with this place. They are total liars and crooks. Go to VW in Joliet.
