Today I was at Palermo's across from Webb Chevy for a funeral luncheon for my friend a veteran Marine and retired Cook County Sheriff. One of the attendees, a disabled Marine veteran, had his fan belt break right in front of Palermo's. My friend's sons and I were trying to fix it for him but we ran into problems. I crossed the street and walked over to Webb Chevy where I met Service Manager, Mike Lewis. After I told him the problem and asked if we could possibly borrow a jack, he responded that he could do better than that. He went to 2 service employees, Vincent Sroka and Ean Tolbert, who had already punched out for the day. He asked them if they would do a favor for him and their country. They responded that they would be happy to help. They packed some tools in their truck and drove across to Palermo's and fixed the belt. They were under the van in the rain. Two very nice young men. I tried to give them some money for their troubles, and they refused saying "no" they were just happy to help. These Webb Chevy employees were our heroes today.

Purchased a 2021 Trailblazer from Dralle Chevrolet in Peotone. Our salesman Stan Gossett was an absolute delight to work with. Also, Sales Manager Gerald Laud and Finance Andy Sowder were great. It was an easy low stress transaction. Would rather work with a small caring dealership than one of the big high-pressure dealers. Very happy with the deal and with the new car. Highly recommend Stan Gossett and Dralle Chevrolet.

I've been buying cars since 1980. This dealer is the worst, all employees when we bought in Late Fall of 2016 are gone, just shows . That stupid commercial "Treat you like Family" is BS. My wife bought 2017 Traverse there. treated us like like crap wait til you get into finance department OVERPRICE EXTENDED WARRANTY.. Bring back Bill Jacob's 100% better..Never buy here again.. the word is spread..FYI takes an hour+ to wash your car..

I would not recommend this place to anyone unless extremely desperate for a vehicle, they did 14 hard inquiries on my credit and I wasn't even buying a car, I was trying to help a friend get a vehicle and they ran my credit without telling me, so now I have all these inquiries from a 3rd tier dealer and it looks like I was trying to buy a car. Deplorable actions by a business. I wouldn't let anyone that I know purchase a vehicle from this business. Shady tactics.

Lombardi Chevy is a local dealership and when I was looking for a used car, I knew right where to go. I had a number in mind and knew what I could afford monthly and I ended up purchasing a 2007 Buick lacrosse and my payment ended up being lower than I had anticipated. By the time I got to the dealership all my paperwork was done and ready to go and all I had to do was sign and drive. It was simple, easy and hassle-free thanks to my salesman Jim. I have since come back for service on my vehicle and am very pleased with Ed the service manager who actually puts forth the effort to address every question or concern. I will only come to Lombardi Chevy. I support small business' and my community.

I was at Smith Chevrolet in Hammond, looking to lease a new vehicle. DeAndea and Valerie were helping to find me the vehicle I wanted at the beat possible price. Everything seemed great until I wanted to look around and make sure the prices made since to me. That's when things turned, and I then received a attitude from DeAndre. I then left. The next day he had called, and I missed his call. As a courtesy and not to receive phone calls from him for 2 weeks I called him back to let him know, I wasn't ready to make any decisions just yet. (That's my right) he then proceeded to say I'm not going to get a better deal elsewhere, and theybqere taking a loss on the vehicle...I stayed firm and said thank you, but not at this time. He then said "thanks" and hung up on me. I called Monday to speak to the General Manager of sales. Tony is who I spoke with, he was just as rude to speak to, and couldn't care less when I was ready to lease my next vehicle if I was coming back to Smith Chevrolet or not. HORRIBLE business people to work with. When they don't get what they want they get nasty. Well they've lost by business, and I will continue to tell anyone I know looking for a vehicle to stay away from Smith Chevrolet in Hammond.
