We recently took our 2004 E-350 12 passenger van to Haggerty with some handling issues and they could have told us we needed new shock absorbers, wheel rebalance and an alignment costing over a $1000 and instead they indicated they thought the problem was an imbalance in the tire air pressures and that those other things were not needed at this time. They charged us nothing for their time. They have done this before as well. We have taken the vehicle to one place and they gave us a quote for over a $1000 of work and we took it to Haggerty and they said you just need to replace one of those parts and it was $300.

Arrived at Napleton Ford with one car in mind to look at. Mr. Richard Randazzo approached us in the lot. Took us around the lot to look at several different cars. We found the car that was advertised on the website. Mr. Richard Randazzo got the keys from inside so that we could take it on a test drive. everything went well on a test drive. But when it came time to get to business that’s when we got the runaround. We did not put a deposit down that day. Being that I wanted to talk it over with my wife. Mr. Randazzo tried to pressure us to take the car home for a test drive which I was not a fan of. We began to negotiate back-and-forth via text message with Mr. Richard Randazzo which went on for approximately 4 to 5 days. In The negotiation process, we had agreed on that they would have a chip in the front windshield fixed and they would replace the whole windshield. He agreed and said the car would be sent out would be back on Monday of the following week . On the Friday of that week The price of the car on car gurus and on Napleton‘s website had a drastic reduction. At the time of this reduction I contact Mr. Richard Randazzo to let him know I wanted to make a deposit so the car won’t get away. Knowing that Saturday is a busy car sale day, I figured Richard Randazzo would return my call or text on Saturday, which I went the whole day without a call or a text. I ended up waiting till Monday to wait to hear from him, with no reply throughout the whole day. Finally got a hold of him around 8 o’clock at night which he returned my call to let me know that they had sold the car without giving me the chance first. Mr. Richard Randazzo is the worst car sales person I have ever encountered. I will never ever send anyone to get a car from Napleton dealership in Libertyville ever again. The only reason I came there is because my father in law used to buy his cars from there. Even the sales manager did not try to reach out to me after me trying to contact them several times. This is a sad poor excuse for a dealership. Just to let you know I did get my explore brand new at a great price, and the sales person I dealt with was exceptional. And it wasn’t from Napleton. Beware if you’re going to Libertyville Napleton dealership steer away from Richard Randazzo. He’s a scammer.

One of the most shadiest dealerships in Illinois they will swindle you. I was interested in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Hopkins Ford. But I kept receiving emails from salesman Jack Ferronasking when do I want to take delivery of the vehicle. It has been clean and inspected. Two weeks later I started receiving more emails from salesman Jack Ferron, advertising new vehicles I told Jack I wasn't interested in a new vehicle. Jack Ferron exact words were: (The Mazda you're interested in is going to auction. The vehicle requires a significant amount of mechanical work and is not safe to be sold). so what you saying if I would have purchased the vehicle 2 weeks ago, I would have been stuck with an unsafe vehicle with mechanical issues. He was very rude and arrogant. My question is why are they advertising vehicles that have not been inspected properly. I even received a message from the owner of the dealership and he stand by his rude employee. If you decide to purchase a vehicle from this Shady dealership make sure you get a written 14-day warranty. cuz I can guarantee the only thing they do with their pre-owned trade-in vehicles is wash and vacuuming them. Not even a basic oil change BEWARE: if you want to be talked and treated like your nothing then salesmen Jack Ferron is the right salesman. Just read the Yelp reviews.

I drove over 100 miles to buy a Certified 2019 Ford Escape at Al Piemonte Ford. Before I arrived, I called and received a price of $23,500 from Jose who answered the phone. When the paper work was being completed the price was the full listed price of $24,977. After several minutes of negotiations, the manager would only take $100 off the full listing price. That was a joke. I offered $24,200 as a compromise and the manager refused, would not even take $700 off. I was ready to write a check and drive it home. Also, the car was missing the rear floor mats and the second key fob, which is $375 to get a new one. The car was supposed to be Ford certified. The manager said the certification costs $2,000, when I know it only cost $500. He said his employees were union employees and he had to pay them a high salary. When I left, I called Uftring Ford in East Peoria, received a great price on a 2019 Ford Escape, and they honored their verbal price. This car was less expensive and had more options. I bought the car and drove it home same day.

I walked in to look at a vehicle and literally three salesmen came up at that the same time just circling me. Let me look at the car and not just stare at me. I let Webb service this gasket and had no problem until The wife drove the van to West Virgina through the mountains. Bam! The engine blew and I had to buy a new engine in Mt.Airy, NC. Anyway, when I got back to ChicagoI called Webb and told them what had happened, they said bring in the repair bill and they would see if Ford Motor would refund my money for the head gasket. The results were positive and I receiveda refund. Happy-Happy.
