I was in for a service appointment. The service was efficient and pleasant. The waiting area is unfortunately a step below average in that the music is loud, and public. I couldn't make phone calls and there's no place to work. I had had hopes for the new building. However, appreciated the receptionist for offering coffee, etc. If I were buying a new car, the waiting area puts the dealership below Zimbrick and Lexus (and even Fields).
I would recommend the service with the caveat to expect to waste the wait time in a corner of the showroom. Bring a book, read the comics - you will not be able to make phone calls or use a desk to get work done.

Went in for a used car ready to buy sticker price and was informed by Sebastian that we can't buy and the bank does not give car loans to people like me. Very disappointed in his poor customer service by being argurmental and disrespectful. Also, I had to wear my mask inside the store, but he did not wear a mask. I am assuming they do not enforce their employees to wear masks. I've been a customer with Nissan since 2014 and the service at this location is now terrible and I will take my service elsewhere.
For the record Sebastian, getting a car loan for a used (7+ years old) Honda Civic is NOT a luxury.

I am a veteran of 20 years. Went in to buy used car on the premise that I had a pre-approved loan with Navy Federal. They accepted my pre-approval letter, so I went in. Paid over 50% of vehicle price out of pocket, with $11k left to be paid upon receipt of my pre-approval check incoming from NavyFed. Original saleslady was super nice and helpful, but when pulled into office to sign final paperwork, they said I couldn't drive away unless I sign a contingent loan which would be nulled upon receipt of my check from NavyFed. I said, no problem, and a week or so later, dropped off the check in their mail slot, and call in twice to check (they kept saying the lady who helped me close the deal was unavailable). About a month later, I get a call from a sales rep that they had received my check, but unfortunately, the other loan has been activated via Santander Consumer USA (google their reviews). Sales rep told me there was nothing to be done, and that they were ripping up my NavyFed check. If I wanted to fix it, I'd have to call my bank to refinance. I don't blame the first saleslady, nor the new sales rep who called to inform me (hence the decent customer service rating) Ricky Vargas was helpful in helping get my stuff resolved after the fact. Management definitely needs to review their sales closing practices. Buyer beware when shopping here.

I had financing with POCU and had no hassles at all. Thanks to everyone at Don Miller Mazda!!!!
No Communication! - JEENA
My tire pressure light came on this morning, so I called service to see if they can take a look at my car and if needed to put air in my tire. I went to the dealership service area and the guy "sure, we can take a look at it". I waited for a while, which was perfectly fine. After a while, I see my car pulled up and I noticed that they washed my car. I go to meet the person bringing my car and he says "your car is ready and good to go". I say, "well what happened to my car? who gave permission to wash my car? what was the tire issue, and what was done to fix it?". He said, "oh someone should have spoken to you about it." I said, "no, no one did". At this point, I inspected my car, specifically the hood of my car (which I will explain later). I saw some immediate fine scratches. I was pissed. So I went to talk to the person who originally took my car. I asked "what was done to the tire of my car, how did the problem get resolved and who gave the permission to wash my car?" He didn't have any idea what was done to my tire, so he had to go ask. They told me that, my rear passenger side had a nail and they plugged it for me. I said okay fine. But who washed my car? He said we did, it was complimentary. I said, I never asked for a car wash. I brought the car in for a simple check up of my tires and for someone to tell me what is going on and to consult with me on what I needed done or how to proceed.
I then began to explain to him, why I was very upset about the car wash. I have only gone to Napelton Mazda dealerships since I bought my car in September 2017. I only went to Arlington Heights Napelton Mazda for oil change services and noticed that I had several scratches on my black vehicle that was even on both sides of my car, which could only be explained by car washes. Therefore I decided to pay out of my own pocket to a very nice auto body show, who did water sand washing and buffed out my scratches on my hood only (because I did not want to do the entire car at the time) and made a decision at that time that I would never take my car to get washed at a dealer and I had not washed my car since I got it buffed out. I saw scratches immediately on the hood of my car, after the Napelton in Libertyville washed my car without my permission.
The man that helped me, said "his car wash is brand spanking new" and therefore it could not be their car wash that caused this. He was rude, and made everything seem like it was my fault. Then went on to say how I should be happy because they fixed my tire, which had a nail in it and they plugged it for free which it should have been a $30.00 charge. I said, I did not ask you to perform a service for free, I will pay for it if you would like. But at no time, did anyone consult with me that there was a nail and whether I wanted it to be plugged or what we should do or how we should proceed. Nor did anyone ask if I wanted a car wash. It is not the dealers right to perform such services and or acts to my car without my permission.
I am furious at the service and incompetence of Mazda Napelton. I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to your location. I came to this location when I first started looking at purchasing a vehicle last year and I felt the people were rude and unhelpful at this location and therefore we went with another dealer. I love my car and take care of it. I am so upset that this dealership service people were rude. I have had numerous issues with the Napelton family and the way they take care of their customers.
