Marty Lay is the best! I recently worked with Marty for transmission repairs to our 2017 Tahoe. Marty was invaluable in helping me present my case to the insurance company explaining how the transmission issue was related to a recent front end impact accident. It was a grueling process but Marty stuck by my side the whole way. Once we were given the go ahead from the insurance company to proceed with installing a new transmission Mike, the technician, had the car ready in no time! As always, the customer service at Deien was top notch. From our first contact, with Nikki, to the time we drove off the lot they went out of their way to make sure our time was valued. This is the type of service that keeps us coming back to this hometown dealership (7 vehicles to date), it might not be the biggest in the area but they make you feel like you are the most important thing to them while you are there. Personally, I'll take this type of treatment over a vast selection anytime...not to mention they can usually beat any competitors pricing and they give a lifetime power-train warranty on all new, and some used, vehicles.

So I bought a 2011 Chevy Corvette in March 2019. When I first got it home I realized the convertible top wouldn’t automatically go down sometimes. I called the dealership and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I didn’t have the problem every time letter the top up just sometimes, so I thought it was no big deal. Well not to long ago the convertible top frame completely broke. I took it to the dealership and they tell me the warranty only covers the motor. I was extremely angered by this because they store their corvettes outside in the rain, sleet, and snow. So what that does is brings rust to the frame of the corvette convertible. Now I only had this car for less then 6 months and the frame is completely broken. Now I’m looking for a auto repair shop to look at it. The lowest estimate I received was 1600$. The dealership couldn’t help me at all. They made me drive 50miles to them just for them to tell me that the frame is not covered under warranty. They was not friendly the time I walked into their dealership. But I had to have this certain corvette. I’m not satisfied with their service not one bit. So if you get a warranty from them make sure you know what’s covered in it.

I was in contact with the salesman, told him we were wanting to look at a used vehicle. Set a date to come look at it and buy if we liked it. Two days later they let me know they sold it but we have another one that you might like. I said yes I do like, it we will be there Saturday, the date previously agreed on. We where on our way to the dealership, an hour drive, and a person called to see if we were coming, we said we are pulling on the lot now. The sales man said he had the car cleaned off and ready for us to look at but someone arrived earlier and took interest in it and the keys were taken from our salesman and was sold out from under us. This is not how you treat a potential customer. That was a dick move and I will not consider this dealership ever in the future.

We were told that the brakes squeaking on a brand new 2020 Traverse High Country was normal. Every time my wife backs out of our driveway or a parking spot the brakes squeal. My wife told them about it the last time she was up there and they pretty much blew her off. I told her not to leave today until they fix the squeaky brakes. The guy seriously told her that is normal at low speeds and they can't do anything about it unless it happens at higher speeds. I was unaware that squeaky brakes was a "normal" thing on a brand new top of the line vehicle. I called another dealer and was told it's a know problem and to bring it to them and they would fix it. It's really weird that I only notice this on our vehicle when apparently this is "normal." WHAT A JOKE!!!!

We bought a car for my son after he totaled his SUV. I was given 2 prices. One price with brakes and one price with brakes and tires. I was told they would not sell it without new brakes. We bought the car with brakes and tires so we knew he was safe after just having a horrible wreck. Fast forward a year and a half later and about 5,000 miles. I had to pay to have brakes put on the car. I will never buy another car there or have any car serviced there!

Have you ever seen a deal to good to be true? Most times when you see a deal like that there is always a catch...Well at Weir Chevy there is no catch just believe it! I recently bought a preowned 2018 Colorado and traded in my 2013 Silverado. My salesman Stephen Dupertuis and I came to a deal on paper in 10 minutes! They had a great price on their truck and he offered a very fair trade in value on mine. No car dealer games . I took the Colorado home for the night and came back the next day telling Stephen I really liked the truck but the seats were very uncomfortable and I could not see buying this truck. Stephen said no problem we can fix the seats. I was shocked by that offer to fix basically new seats! I had never heard of such a thing. And true to his word they re-stuffed the drivers seat and after I asked and received a toneau cover we closed the deal. It is so refreshing to see there is a car dealer out there that cares about the customer more than the almighty dollar! Thank you very much Mr Roy (owner of Weir Chevy) And Mr. Stephen Dupertius for restoring my faith in car dealers who operate their business in a honest and straight forward way! St Louis people need to visit Weir Chevy and see what is too good to be true in Redbud IL I am sure glad i did!
