After a bad experience with Service from Bommarito Buick GMC trying to take me for a ride and treating me poorly I called Don with service at Suntrup Buick GMC. I told Don that I had a 2019 GMC Terrain that has been performing poorly and possibly indicating that the turbo charger was failing. I also explained to him that Bommarito had told me that the turbo was a non covered item. Don quickly set the record straight and verified that the turbo would be covered under MFG warranty and re routed me back to them so that they can address the issue. I got there and registered the car for service and they got me on my way home without a problem.

Great Dealership - dos392
The whole staff was very courteous and helpful. Terry Funk made purchasing a vehicle very easy. I would recommend this Dealership to every one and I already have.
Wouldn’t honor its word - Kennell2020
So I bought a 2011 Chevy Corvette in March 2019. When I first got it home I realized the convertible top wouldn’t automatically go down sometimes. I called the dealership and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I didn’t have the problem every time letter the top up just sometimes, so I thought it was no big deal. Well not to long ago the convertible top frame completely broke. I took it to the dealership and they tell me the warranty only covers the motor. I was extremely angered by this because they store their corvettes outside in the rain, sleet, and snow. So what that does is brings rust to the frame of the corvette convertible. Now I only had this car for less then 6 months and the frame is completely broken. Now I’m looking for a auto repair shop to look at it. The lowest estimate I received was 1600$. The dealership couldn’t help me at all. They made me drive 50miles to them just for them to tell me that the frame is not covered under warranty. They was not friendly the time I walked into their dealership. But I had to have this certain corvette. I’m not satisfied with their service not one bit. So if you get a warranty from them make sure you know what’s covered in it.

One of the best places I have every shopped for a new vehicle. Friendly, informative and very helpful throughout the entire process. Assistance with service on purchase of new vehicle when needed was great.

I would not recommend it due to the interaction of a potential purchase. I had a deposit on another car (F150 Platinum) that I had reconsidered but the Sierra AT4 caught my eye (60K). The issue was that I was refinancing my house and could not run credit, so I offered a 5K deposit and they refused to hold, so I offered 20K (bank check in hand) still they would not hold for 5 days. 5 days later the salesman called who was great saying they still had the vehicle, but unfortunately the sales manager that day was "Dave Sinclair Jr" who said that was not how we operate and he has kids too.
I killed me to respond to the sales guy with a pic of my new truck saying your boss killed the deal not you

After initially not hearing back after submitting an online request Doug took over and was amazing. Handled just about everything over the phone and was very responsive throughout the day. They even granted our request of social distancing and handling all paperwork outside. Even though it was chilly and rainy, they got it all done. Very much appreciated during these times. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

PissPoor Communication Skills.
I called and spoke to Tiffany in the Service Dept. to schedule an oil change. I explained very clearly and plainly that I do not live any where near the dealership and could NOT just drop off my car. I will have to wait for it to be serviced. Tiffany stated that would not be a problem and we selected an appointment for 11:00am from what she had available. I drive all the way over there only to discover that there are a dozen vehicles waiting outside the service bay for their appointments as well. I went inside and discovered that Tiffany knew full well that all the cars were scheduled ahead of me. Since I couldn't just drop my vehicle off, I could spend the entire afternoon inside the dealership until it was my turn. Tiffany never once mentioned how backed up the orders were in the service bays. I drove all that way for NOTHING. Had she just been honest with me about the wait times, I would have chosen a different day or an earlier time. She never mentioned that so I was unaware until the moment I pulled up to the service bay. This is total crap customer service but also a good indication of what this dealership think of its customers. My advice: don't trust what is said to you on the phone - ask every question you can think of first. Know before you go - or go elsewhere.

Traveling through St Louis when the check engine light came on. Called several dealers, but Laura was the only one who was gracious enough to make time to check the car out. Turns out it needed a turbo charger. The part was on back order and would require additional days to get. Adam, the Service manager, found the part at a local dealer ad had the seal delivered fed ex. His creativity and the skill and thoroughness of the technician had me on my way the following day. I only lost one day of my trip. This dealer is great, courteous, creative, resourceful and customer oriented! You can’t go wrong!!!!
We brought our 2019 GMC Acadia in for service for a... - CJ
We brought our 2019 GMC Acadia in for service for a transmission that was shifting badly. They advised that there was nothing wrong with it but the service write up advises they replaced the top end of the transmission. We then brought it elsewhere to have the issue resolved on the first visit. They also later advised that they don’t believe any work had been done by Bommarito.
Fast forward 3 months I decided to give Bommarito another chance after my other car (2019 GMC Terrain) was having some issues with the turbo charger. I called and set up an appointment then showed up to that appointment. The service advisor told me they couldn’t find me so they handed me over to the guy that knew about my appointment (Grant Cecil). Right off the bat this guy wanted to argue by telling me I showed up for the wrong appointment which I had an appointment for. Then he turned around and told me that if it’s the turbocharger that I will be paying for the service out of pocket (even though we have remaining power train warranty and extended bumper to bumper). I told the guy that I shouldn’t owe anything out of pocket and he just kept digging and arguing. Then I just said it is what it is and asked for the loaner car they promised. Another service advisor said no rental was available but they could get me a ride to the airport. Grant came back and said no way they are taking me to the airport because it exceeds the 10 mile service area. At this point in time I knew that we weren’t going anywhere fast so I decided to leave and call another GMC dealer who made sure that I would get my SUV in for service and guaranteed that I would pay no out of pocket. They even took a car out of inventory to make sure I had transportation while they repair my car.
A short while later I called the service manager Pat Robertson and made him aware of what’s going on. Pat then did a little research and first told me that Grant was wrong and the Turbocharger is covered as a part of the factory warranty but did not apologize for his guy going rogue and arguing with me and did not even address them wasting my time at 8am on a Monday showing up for a a scheduled appointment that they accidentally entered on the wrong date. I told him that this is the second time I’ve had an issue with Grant and I need something to make sure it doesn’t happen again or it will be the last time I do business with any of Frank Bommarito’s companies and he responded by saying “I’m sorry to hear that.” And we ended our conversation.
Again, Suntrup Buick GMC quickly answered my call and took care of me without a question of a doubt. Save your time and money and stay far away from Bommarito.
I would not recommend this dealership to my worse enemy. ... - parris314
I would not recommend this dealership to my worse enemy. Bob Brockand Jr. is a complete phony and is completely out for himself. I purchased a car from this dealership and brought it back three times for the same problem and they kept telling me that there was nothing wrong with it. Finally of course the warranty ran out and now we are stuck with a car that has a front end problem that will cost us at least 1300.00 dollars to fix. They were rude to me and my husband. Bob Brockland Jr. told my husband that he was " too sensitive and needed to chill out". That he was not going to fix anything and hung up on him, mean while we are still making month payments every month. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not put yourself in the same position. We thought they were good people at first, but CLEARLY it was all show to get us to buy a car.
The worst year long repair service I ever experienced! - TANNELLE
Have been dealing with this dealership for over a year; specifically the service dept. I have had the same issue duplicate itself 5 times and each time this dealer replaces a part that is not correcting the issue. I understand diagnostic codes and everything, but on multiple occasions they have all pointed back to the throttle needing to be replaced. They even wrote on one of my repair tickets that if "this repair" did not fix the problem and it resurfaced again they would replace the throttle. Well the issue did resurface a couple months later and we took it back assuming they would replace the throttle. However, they replaced something totally different and charges us a 5th time for something that did not correct the problem. So the most recent visit, the decided to go ahead and replace the throttle. After 5 -6 failed attempts and $2700.00 of my extremely hard earned money they replaced the throttle at the tune of $391.00 and that was only for the part. Nevertheless, I have yet to find a throttle that cost over $244.00 on any parts website. They seem to run between $112 - 244.00 for my vehicle model. After so many epic failures at repairing my vehicle, they did "waive" the labor rate on the 6th attempt. However, I don't doubt they more than likely added it back in as a hidden charge with the part cost, considering the huge difference in what they charged for the parts and the average price several parts websites offer them far. Tricky tricky deceptive company. All I have to say is God don't like ugly. This dealership is as ugly as they come! Did someone say bankruptcy!
Will never buy at this dealership again! - Mimi
We bought a car for my son after he totaled his SUV. I was given 2 prices. One price with brakes and one price with brakes and tires. I was told they would not sell it without new brakes. We bought the car with brakes and tires so we knew he was safe after just having a horrible wreck. Fast forward a year and a half later and about 5,000 miles. I had to pay to have brakes put on the car. I will never buy another car there or have any car serviced there!
The Right Way.. - Steve
Have you ever seen a deal to good to be true? Most times when you see a deal like that there is always a catch...Well at Weir Chevy there is no catch just believe it! I recently bought a preowned 2018 Colorado and traded in my 2013 Silverado. My salesman Stephen Dupertuis and I came to a deal on paper in 10 minutes! They had a great price on their truck and he offered a very fair trade in value on mine. No car dealer games . I took the Colorado home for the night and came back the next day telling Stephen I really liked the truck but the seats were very uncomfortable and I could not see buying this truck. Stephen said no problem we can fix the seats. I was shocked by that offer to fix basically new seats! I had never heard of such a thing. And true to his word they re-stuffed the drivers seat and after I asked and received a toneau cover we closed the deal. It is so refreshing to see there is a car dealer out there that cares about the customer more than the almighty dollar! Thank you very much Mr Roy (owner of Weir Chevy) And Mr. Stephen Dupertius for restoring my faith in car dealers who operate their business in a honest and straight forward way! St Louis people need to visit Weir Chevy and see what is too good to be true in Redbud IL I am sure glad i did!
