We use Steve Landers because they employ knowledgeable people in the sales department. Lamar actually seemed interested in what "I" wanted in a vehicle. We did have one snafu. This is not a cussing, throwing a hissy-fit, or yelling event but an area for improvement. I bought the truck on Saturday and went back on Monday to pick it up. Lamar was off that day and no one seemed to really know the status of my truck. I was told it would be ready around 3 PM. I arrived at 3:30. During the time I was there I was told three or four times that it was "almost ready". Finally at 8:30 PM Josh and Zack realized we were still there. After about twenty minutes they discovered the pickup was still sitting outside the wash rack. They brought the new truck around and told me I could bring it in the next day for detail. The second key was also lost. When I went back Wednesday still no spare key. I asked to speak to Laura and she ended up getting a new one made for me. I would suggest that there be a better system to organize and keep track of where vehicles are in the system. Everyone should have tracking information to every vehicle being sold. I wonder what would happen if a thief drove a vehicle off the lot and no one knew it was missing. In my case they would have been a long way down the road in the five hours my wife and I sat in the showroom Monday.

Our 2016 Sprinter motorhome was subject to the Mercedes diesel emission recall. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive for us to go to Bentonville and previous air bag recalls had not been very positive experiences. And there are stories on the internet that this recall is taking over two weeks. But we were fortunate. Service Manager Patrick took care of all the details of the recall and got everything accomplished in just three days. And the motor home drives as great as always and fuel economy remains 15-16 mpg.

I’ve met a lot of salesmen and I’ve had good experiences at most places that I’ve been. However, nothing compares to the service I got at McLarty Honda. From the moment I walked in I was greeted at the door and nobody was pushy. Caleb was my salesman and went above and beyond. He was very friendly, got me what I wanted, and the process was quick. When I went to sign the papers the finance guy went above and beyond to continue to get me the best deal. Freaking terrible service. First Amber from service is a xxxxx and doesn't seem to like her job just plain rude. Second, I came from out of town on 1/22- 1/25, stayed an extra day bc I didn't feel safe driving 4 hours home. My rotars were hot to the touch and the brakes were giving off a terrible smell. Told them the smell started when I got new breaks almost 3 weeks prior. They kept my car all day just to tell me nothing is wrong with the car. So I drive home 4 hours away. Fast forward to 2/7 I drive to a friend's house which is 12 miles down the road and I get out to my brakes SMOKING!!!. I have video of it. So I take it to my FORD dealership and they found my brakes were installed INCORRECTLY. And caused damage to the brakes along with the rotars. How in the world does COGSWELL not check my brakes like I asked them to. Instead of DOING THEIR JOB. They decide to slack off and just drive my car down the road to DETERMINE my car didn't have anything wrong with it. When IN FACT something was wrong! When it comes to brakes yall should be more observant and get qualified xxxxing people working there. I'm glad i made it home safely with my 2 girls. Y'all should not even have these doors open. What a shame and disgrace this place is. I will never be back. And I will let everyone know about what yall did. 🖕
