First car purchase since 2002 and have always hated the process. This time we dealt with Trent Jones at Allen Tillery Chevrolet.
The process was simple, he listened to our needs and to our requirement and went to work finding exactly what we needed. We came in thinking that for the payment we could afford we would have to buy a used vehicle but Trent found a step up from that. He found us a Chevy Traverse that had been used as a courtesy car that had only 2000 miles on it.
The deal was a good one as it was marked down for that reason.
By that afternoon we were driving home in our Traverse. This vehicle is primarily going to be driven by my wife for her everyday running around and she says, I LOVE THIS CAR.

Great Experience with Ed Bayles - Scott
As a whole it was a great experience. Ed Bayle's our sales person was great! I rate him 10 out of 10. We are from Colorado and the experience over email and the phone with Ed was excellent. No surprises it was seamless. He did a great job of explaining the features of the car and showing us how they worked. He helped us get things set up so an A + for ED. The other personnel at the dealership were great also.
The only negative experience was when dealing with the finance guy. (I don't remember his name) He started off cordial, offered us several options for care plans and service warranties. When we declined the offers he tried again but we didn't feel the need for any of the plans, so we politely declined. That's the point it changed. His attitude changed abruptly. He became coarse with us, rude and blunt. Kind of like a baby pouting. Frankly it was insulting. If it hadn't been for my wife being in the room I would have called him out on it. I have been in sales for 30 years and I understand that he wanted to make the sale, but come on grow up. Anyway other then this one thing all went well.
I will call Ed the next time we are looking for a vehicle but I will not work with this finance guy again.

I highly advice NO one use this to dealership. I've been in business for my self for 40 years and I would NEVER treat a customer like this place has done me. Took me over 1 and half years to order a new truck with them. There was always problems and somebody else's fault. Should of ran away as fast as I could and bought new truck at another dealership. After having truck for awhile radio went out. Took it back to shop and they said they would order one. Instead of checking out truck to even see what the problem was. 4 MONTHS taking off work going there to get my radio fixed excuse after excuse. They kept telling me it was on back order. And then they told me last wk no even ordered one. They don't have honest people that work for the company even manger of store will not return calls. Worst guys I ever seen working in their shop. There's so many dealerships in Ark do not go here. Hoyt
The most deceitful encounter I’ve ever had buying a car - Lf0109
I have never had such a terrible car buying experience, and I am an extremely patient and understanding person. I also never post reviews on businesses so that alone should tell you how sincere I am about this. If the car I got had not been the price it was I would have never tolerated what I did with this dealership, and honestly, I shouldn’t have even with the price it was.
They played the back and forth game with me for hours about the trade in on my car until I finally had enough and left because I simply had been there too long and they could not get anywhere near what it was actually worth. The run around was not appreciated. Not to mention, we dealt with three different employees through all of it - building a customer relationship is not a priority there obviously.
My second problem was that after I was told my credit had only been ran once, I got multiple emails notifying me the next day that I had four different inquiries. When I called to see why they had lied to me, no one that had dealt with me previously called me back. Multiple inquiries can drop your credit quick. Extremely rude conduct in my book.
After I saw they dropped the price (which they could have done with me in the first place but didn’t because I suppose they just didn’t want a sale sooner), I decided to email the initial salesman I had talked to and tell him what I wanted for my car and if they could do that, we’d have a deal. He told me he his “manager might be able to squeeze that much out of it”. So I returned to the dealership...
They tried to DROP what they had told me they’d give me for my car AND tried to raise the price of the car I wanted above what it was listed for! The smell of shady was palpable. Still I gave them a chance to get right.
Finally, we seemed to come to an agreement and we started paperwork. I made clear I did NOT want GAP insurance and I kid you not, every time they came back to me with a break down it still included GAP. I thought they finally got the hint and when I went to actually sign papers the payment had changed and I started getting frustrated. Guess what they said? “Oh, well that’s with GAP insurance.” They literally tried to sneak it in there and hoped I wouldn’t notice or would just give in!
Believe it or not, it doesn’t end there. During this entire process, it was made clear that a family member would be the co-signer and me the primary signer so I could get a better interest rate. After all was said and done, they had switched it on us to make them the primary borrower and me the co-borrower. No one said anything about it changing. Maybe that’s not the end of the world to some, but after everything we went through it was the cherry on top of a gigantic deceit sundae.
I can not convey to you enough how much I do not recommend this dealership. The only words that come to my mind are: deceitful, conniving, and fake. Do not go here for your next car.

I had previously made some negative comments but the dealership offered clarifications and made amends so I'm retracting any negative comments that I previously posted. The dealership did respond right away and it is obvious that they take social media comments seriously.
