He was respectful and did not push me into making a decision. On a different topic, I hope I am happy with the added 800 dollars I spent on the Subaru warranty. I felt somewhat pressured to spend more money to further insure that I got a “great car.”

A bad experience turned into A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I purchased a 2017 Kia Forte that had problems from the start. It was covered under factory warranty but the Kia dealer could not fix the problem with the radiator fan. I want to stress that I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with everyone at the dealership. My salesman Scott was very friendly and accommodating. Mike Mosley in Finance is a pleasure to deal with as well and assured me the old loan would be paid off with the purchase and new loan. Amber in used car sales was also very helpful. All in all this dealership took a bad situation and made it a great experience. They took possession of the old Kia and had the General Manager reach out to me. David George then began to call multiple dealerships in order to find me another vehicle. I was not easy on any of them and they withstood the pressure in order to make the situation a great customer service experience. I ended up finding a car that was slightly more money but a solid buy. I put over 700.00 in the old car they took back and they gave that money back to me on the new car. I am overjoyed at the experience that I had. Bad things happen from time to time in this world. It is inevitable, but they lengths they went through to correct the experience and make it right with the customer will have me coming back again to purchase another car. I am very pleased to have worked with the staff at Jim Norton Chevrolet.

Beware! Looks like this place is lucky to receive a "1-Star", started on Saturday to buy a used vehicle... Was given a run around after I supplied all the docs they requested. JR said everything looked good and this should be a breeze, the deal had to be done by his finance manager, we called him a couple times finding out we got bumped every time. Was put off until Monday, promised I would be called.
Monday came and went, No call back, even after I called him three times, no one had looked at my "deal". Put off until Tuesday, JR. promised he would call me.
Tuesday, Nothing and I assure you credit is not bad at all, not the best but not bad. JR. said he would call on Wednesday. I tried to call the General Manager, Don Lindsey, three times and left a message each time, no call back here either.
Wednesday, 8:24am, called JR (his office phone was forwarded into his cellular), he said he was getting ready for work, famous words, I will call you back in just a little bit! LOL. you know what happened. So at 10:55am I tried to call Mr. Lindsey again and went to voice mail, (left another message, don't expect a return call, but I left the message). I then called back and ask if anyone in management answers their phone the operator transferred me to Arnold "The sales manager", guess what? Yep, I left a message, don't expect a return call.
Mr. Lindsey finally called me back after I started trying to reach the owner Mr. Norton, he called me, told me he wanted to check a couple things out and would call me back in 30 mins. Guess What? No call, however the finance manager called me and strung me along for a couple days, ran my credit some more.. Now my bruised credit score is now in the toilet (540-572) it was up over 650 before I started with these yea hoos.
I would NEVER consider buying a new car from this place. And after reading all the nightmare stories on here from other VICTIMS... Wow, very sad.
Update: Even Mr. Norton himself finally called me about 5 days in to this nightmare and said "well they should not have submitted to so many banks" but never offered anything to fix the situation..... Again BEWAE of this DEALERSHIP

Wasn’t pressured at all. I knew I was going to buy a car that day, so I was expecting to have to deal with a long, drawn out process. That, never happened. The paperwork was done in 30 minutes and I was down the road in the car I picked out.

I had to submit a request to ship the vehicle to a closer dealership 3 times before I got a phone call. I was told about 7 days and it’d be ready to test drive. I’m on day 9 and haven’t received a call about the test drive yet. Fingers crossed maybe soon.

We traded in a 2009 Lexus, Dave said it had to be painted and it was a mess. He was full of it. He only gave us 3400 for the car as we wanted an Arcadia. We drove it, it was pretty good. I asked alot of questions and Dave continually said "Don't worry,I'll take care of you!" We paid cash for the car AND they talked us into a 1900 dollar insurance coverage, the best in the nation! I had specifically asked Dave if anything happens to this vehicle in the first week can I bring it back? He said, not a problem, I'll take care of you! Well, we had it a few days and the motor died on the way to Midas where they were going to put a head light in for us. I called Calvary and they couldn't find a tow truck. I used my AAA to have it towed home. needles to say, Irate doesnt cover the half of it. They refused to help and we "did buy it as is!" Numerous calls back and forth, The car towed to different places. Stan says yes, you're covered, I have the insurance approval here in front of me! It wasnt approved! There was a 30 day waiting period before the coverage kicked in. They knew it! "Out of the kindness of their hearts", they gave us back the 1900 which we put into a 150000 mile motor. The car supposedly had 132000. After a month with no car, the shop finally calls and says its ready. We went and had to pay an additional 418. to get the car. I went out to drive it and as soon as I started it, the car was vibrating like crazy. I went in to complain. They said oh yeah, we knew she wanted in in a hurry so we just put the new motor in with old motor mounts but we saw they were pretty banged up! WHA?????? So we had to put another 400 into that, then more for a new battery. That I'm sure Calvary switched out and they have a real good one in the shop! They are crooked as can be! Dave is an outright LIAR! Don't do business with these people!! Absolutely ZERO stars for this company!! Major scam artists

I’m only giving it 1 star because the only thing they did right was my oil change. I needed new tires. I went to Doenges in May of 2019. I was told multiple times by their front service cashier, Olivia, that these exact tires were covered by road hazard warranty. And she AGAIN told me this when I was getting in my car to leave with the four new tires on my car. She also told me that as long as I went to Doenges it would be covered. Fastforward to today, March 13 of 2020. My tire is needing to be aired up twice a week. I go to Doenges after I get off work. I just wanted them to patch my tire. ONLY to find out that there are MULTIPLE small holes in it and they’re not able to patch, or fix it. They REFUSED. They gave me a price for ONE new tire instead. When I asked about my warranty they couldn’t even pull up my receipt from the sale of the tires. They only were able to look at the part with the part Humber, as I’m told by Megan and Rich. Now I’m doing to have to buy ANOTHER tire for my car when the new tires are still NEW! IM FURIOUS! But don’t take into account the fact that I was TOLD that I had the warranty before I drove off their lot. And now they’re saying that they didn’t get my tires from a Toyota supplier and only Toyota vendor supplied tires are covered . I’m outraged, beyond livid. I will NEVER go back to Doenges. You have literally lost a customer. First of all, honesty is best. And if you can’t honor what you tell customers what makes us think that you’re being honest with your work? I will not be recommending this Toyota to anyone. Also, I have family who work in multiple Toyotas. So there’s that. I will be taking my car and my business elsewhere. What. A. Disgrace. You’re establishment is the worst and I hope many people see this and help them turn away from your business. Honestly, don’t trust this Toyota. Seriously.

Its a buy here pay here place but even still u should be able to expect some shred of honesty even from a low rent used car dealer like this one but no Sir don't expect that here. Just theives lookin to steal from the working man. I went in to make my payment on friday and I gave the guy the cash. He doesn't give me a receipt and I get a call on Monday and they say I haven't made a payment. Dude pocketed the cash knowing I had no receipt. 330 Bucks, a significant portion of that weeks check. Live and learn and don't but from this place.
