David Brooks (dealer) gets 5 stars, but the dealership gets 3.
I didn't end up buying a car here, but I came somewhat close. Had the dealership discounted the price of the > $50,000 truck even a paltry $500, I would have bought it. However, the "manager" - I assume finance or internet - was confident it was a great price even though Truecar and Carguru both said it wasn't. The irony here is that I took advantage of a great RAM deal elsewhere only 3 days after this deal didn't make and I see now that the dealership has already lowered the price only 7 days later, completely contradicting their stance with me that cost them the deal. This loss is on you, "manager".
Still going to give David Brooks a 5-star review because I think he earned it. With as much paranoia and guard-up as some of us have with even approaching a traditional dealership these days vs. the up-and-coming simplicity of online car buying, David was about as straight forward as it gets. 0 sketchy sales talk, no 4-corner pitch, no drama... just simply "going to do a deal if we can, and if we can't, we'll shake hands and walk away" (his words). That' what you want to hear (and experience) with a car dealer. If you look through this website for a trustworthy salesperson, his name comes up over and over so for me (and I would recommend for you) it should be David or no one. Good luck, David.

Do Not use the service department. I have a diesel and I... - cm223
Do Not use the service department. I have a diesel and I know maintenance is higher than a gas truck. Having said that I brought the truck in because I had a lightning bolt light come on which usually signifies the batteries have gone bad (I usually replace them every three years). I usually buy walmart batteries and I was hoping to get more time out of the batteries with quality batteries. Time will tell on that. Here is my complaint; The quote for the batteries (there are two on a diesel) on the phone was $302.00. So I show up to pick the truck up and they are charging me over $600! I had some other maintenance done and a state inspection so I am trying to figure out why the bill is almost $1,000! They charged my 2 hours of labor to change two batteries! I have changed both batteries in 30 minutes. I told him that. He came off 1 hour of labor so I still paid $467.88 for two batteries that I could have replaced for $180!!!!!!!!! (I don't know if there is a quality difference between Walmart batteries and OEM-we will see).
The second complaint. I asked them to lube the drive shaft and the front left U-joint (normally it is a sealed U-joint but I have had that one replaced with a greaseable one). I made sure they knew that it needed to be lubed because they did not lube it on a previous appointment so I made a big deal about it. They did not lube the U-joint so now I am seriously concerned they did not lube the drive shaft. Then they wrote up a whole laundry list of other maintenance they think needs to be accomplished at what I would estimate from them to be around $2500. Do I need it? Who knows, I'll take it to a reputable mechanic to find out.
THEY LOST ALL MY BUSINESS!!!!!
AutoNation if you want to make this right then refund me $123.88 for the time you gouged me and lube the U-joint and drive shaft.

NEW car:I had the worst experience of all times buying my jeep here. Please I hope this helps anyone looking into coming here. I would like to provide some feedback in regards to a salesman named LEO. The director himself came to me with no solutions and they denied any help at all. No solutions and stated they would never wash my car again. This never should have happened. Worst customer service.
HE was unethical and lied during purchase. He stated I would get free car washes no service needed for this. He denied this when I went back today. Note : I had already gotten 3 car washes before. I would not recommend buying a car here to anyone. Who knows what else they may lie on, please everyone make sure to check your paperwork and never believe the salesman. I would not advise you to go to this dealership location. There are plenty of options here in Texas you can go to with better service. I hope this helps the next person and never choose this an option. The least I deserved as a customer was a commitment from the dealership after their employee lied to close a deal. DO NOT GO HERE.

Would not honor the advertised sale price.
The best they could do was 1300 over the advertised sale price because of dealer add on items that were not disclosed on the sale price

Grubbs is a great dealer. They really care about the community around them also because they were a business that was part of a career connections project for the area's schools. It was so great letting the kids of the community see how the automotive industry works. Thanks Grubbs for being a wonderful asset to the community. Grubbs is also a 5-Star dealer, which means that they are one of the few select dealers in the country that has a very high customer service index score.
