I would like to first and foremost warn everyone about... - Adolphe.anderson
I would like to first and foremost warn everyone about Mr. Crocket so that they don’t have to experience such disappointing situation. By this I am formally complain about Mr. Crocket for abusing and misleading my trust in the entire Toyota dealership and for putting my life on the line in this time where I could of been exposed to COVD 19 for a misleading cause/goal, last not least for adding an hard inquiry to my wife credit report.
great deal, efficient, but NOT TRUSTWORTHY - areviewer
I purchased a Camry, and was able to get a great deal thanks to the general manager and sales consultant Nina. Nina was very efficient in getting me a great deal via e-mail/text so that I didn't waste any extra time at the dealership. I spent maybe less than 30 min with sales, but spent over an hour with financing.
I would have given this dealership 5 stars for an excellent deal and efficiency, but I was lied to by the manager on-site at the time. They are not trustworthy if they were willing to lie to finalize the purchase. This dealership has a credit limit for the down payment so I couldn't put down as much as I wanted to keep my monthly payments low. The manager assured me that I would be able to put more down later with Toyota Financial to lower my monthly payments. This was a lie. Toyota Financial said there's nothing that can be done to lower the monthly payment after the purchase was completed. I'm now stuck with high monthly payments for the term.
I would not recommend purchasing from this DISHONEST dealership.
Great Experience!!!! - Vida M.
My experience with Jesse and Mike at Carson Toyota was great!!! I usually use a car broker to lease a new car however after my first initial phone conversation with Jesses I knew I wanted to give it a try and I am glad I did. Both Jesses and Mike were very professional, friendly and helpful. They were honest with me from the start and did not push sales tactics on me. I walked away with an amazing deal and the whole experience was hassle free, I am very satisfied with my with the overall experience. Jesses and Mike have definitely earned my business and I cant wait to come back for my next car. Thank you again for everything!
Terrible customer service costs customers! - christie.f
I bought a car from Toyota of Santa Monica in February 2019. The car is fine, but the customer service I have received since my purchase has been completely awful. Firstly, they did not do a smog check. They called and told me I needed to get one and said that they would reimburse me if I sent the receipt as well as the certificate. I did so but was not reimbursed until after I sent several emails and called several times. It took about six months for the check to show up in the mail. Secondly, I requested that my prepaid maintenance plan and gap plan be canceled. I was emailed paperwork but when I emailed it back I got no response. I sent several emails over the course of several months and got no response. I also called several times and the financial services representatives were always out of the office. Finally, I gave up and called Toyota headquarters only to find out that the delay of these several months resulted in my losing hundreds of dollars because these plans are somewhat time dependent. Had the dealership acted when I asked them to I would've had much more money in my pocket. If you can avoid going to the dealership, by all means do so.

They work for their own interest not for the customers. - Meo
Don't buy your car in this dealership, they are working for their own interest and not for the customer. They charged me so many warranties that are not needed like to Eco Black and Red Alert. Sales person did not explain that there's additional cost for those items until you got your paper works.
The Sales person, Sales Manager and Finance Manager lied to us. They trade their integrity for money.
Don't buy from this dealership!!!!!
Greedy and Deceptive - see my tips on buying a car from them - fatjake
Here is some advice if you are planning to buy a car here. Be prepared for unethical but legal tricks aimed to maximize their profit.
They list all of their used cars at a price well below what they actual want to get for the car. According to their sales manager Jake Mottram, all of their used cars have a $1300 required dealer add-on that is supposed to provide "tracking and performance" data. In all of their listings, they bury this crucial detail so you cant find it: "Advertised price is plus any dealer installed accessories." This is what they use to justify the unjustified mark-up. Its a scam.
This lets them price their vehicles below their honest competitors, which in turn, gives them higher rankings on cars.com, cargurus, etc and earns them a "Great Price" badge on their listings. In reality, if you add the non-negotiable $1300 add on fee, their vehicles quickly fall to the "Overpriced" category.
Also, they will attempt to run your credit before you negotiate the price - they acted surprised when I wanted to negotiate - so be sure you agree on price before they pull your credit.

Do not buy a new car here! I had agreed on a price with a sales representative over the phone, the DEAL was APPROVED and SIGNED by a manager. They had me come in, spend over an hour running my credit/signing paperwork and then instead of handing me the keys they decided to ask for significantly more money and tear up the signed contract. The manager's explanation, "you aren't going to walk away after all that"... well he was wrong, thanks for wasting a month of my time while I waited for the vehicle to arrive and my whole night. They changed written deals on me twice now, do not go here
Friendly Staff, Terrible Process, No Accountability. - Frustrated Customer
The system used by the service department to book appointments apparently does not actually work, besides blocking a time slot with the department. Add any notes or details about additional service, maintenance, or other issues you'd like to be looked at, and the service team doesn't receive it. Says their system has always been broken and they never see the details of a booked appointment.
Lots of wasted time, lots of confusion and lack of answers.
This is just one of many bad experiences here.
When I submitted a fair and detailed review via the Toyota service survey, I got a call back from a service rep who said he was going to be fired because of my poor review, and I needed to send a note to his boss to save his job.
When I've asked if there's someone in management that I can speak with about my experience, even pointing out that it has nothing to do with the individual service reps, everyone gets terrified and says they don't know how I'd go about doing that.
I made no comment about any individual's poor service, but rather poor process and accountability, and it seems to fall on deaf ears and become the fault of the individual employees.
Management seems to not care, despite multiple calls to discuss my experience.
Was really excited to get a 4Runner and I had found one... - blayne.thacker
Was really excited to get a 4Runner and I had found one right in my price range with just over 100k miles. My salesman, Palash (spelling). I went for a test drive, noticed a small noise on the car that i wanted to have looked at. I was told that he would be having the service department look over the whole car anyways so i trusted that would happen. We go inside to start the paperwork, and he brings me a credit application. I ask him why i needed to fill this out if i had already been approved through Navy Federal Credit Union, and had all the necessary paperwork with me to show that I was approved to purchase a car. He said that unless i come in with cash money, or his words "green" money, that I HAD to fill out this credit form. This is NOT true, and him telling me I had to, was a total lie. While im filling out the paperwork he says that hes going to get me at least $500 off the vehicle. Once i finish the paperwork he then says he spoke with his manager and his manager denied giving any discount on the price so im not sure why I was told that PRIOR to him being able to make sure it was okay. Once im finished with my paperwork, and had paid with check that I had brought with me FROM my credit union (still didnt understand why I HAD to have my credit ran, but I will be disputing that inquiry), i was taken to the vehicle. When I arrived, Palash had told me that he had them look over everything, and they couldnt find any issues but if I had any that came up, to give them a call. The car came with a limited 30 warranty. Fast forward to two and a half weeks later, a check engine light appears and the car wont start. I needed it for work and had to call in that day. I ran the codes using my own OBD2 reader and there were several fault codes. Upon reading them, they had been there since august, long before i bought the car, meaning that the service department didnt even do the most simple task of checking to see if there were any issues that the cars computer could pick up. I contacted Keyes Toyota, and explained the issue to them. They wanted me to bring it in to have it serviced, but two issues: one, I live about 85 miles away, and two, the car wont start. After a bunch of calling back and forth, I eventually come up with the idea to purchase the part and do the work myself, saving them hundreds on towing the car down there. They eventually agreed and I purchased the part. When i went to go replace the part, however, it seems that it had already been messed with prior to me purchasing the car and required that a bolt that had broken off be extracted and it seemed as though whoever did the "repair" before had used superglue to keep the sensor in place. So i call Keyes toyota back, they tell me that I have to bring it in but THIS time, I have to pay for the towing. I tell them that the car will start intermittently, and that if i can get it to start, then ill make the 170 mile round trip drive to have this sensor replaced (all couldve been avoided had they actually looked over the car as they had claimed). I show up at the appointed time, they request the part that I purchased. I had returned it because I was never told to bring it with me, and also, I felt as though they would like to use a part they know is going to work as opposed to the cheapest one I could find at autozone. SO, i ended up having to run to another auto parts store, repurchase the part, bring my car back and it ended up taking almost exactly 4 hours, even though the Service Director Derrick, had said my car would be worked on immediately. I leave, VERY disappointed, but happy to have a "working car". Then yesterday, the Check engine light appears again....not one day after making that long drive there and back. Ive left a voicemail with the service director, but have not heard anything back. I figured going with a larger dealership would be a better option and that I would be taken care of as a customer, but that was NEVER the case. so many empty promises made and even blatant lies were told to me, just to get me to purchase the car at the FULL price.

Took in my Scion XB for 30k service this afternoon and was very happy with the excellent service. My service advisor was Daniel Choo - he was courteous, prompt, fair, reasonable, and took the time to explain and provide advise on the details/items involved in the service. Never felt any pressure ... and ended up just getting what I really needed done at this point and at the same time got the recommendations for anything that needed to be addressed in the future. These dealer scheduled maintenance are usually never a good experience (expensive, unreasonable, etc.) but Mr. Choo made the experience a lot more pleasant and I will not hesitate to come back to this Toyota dealership in the future.

This place is ran irresponsibly. The customers are given appointment for service and they take over 4 hours just for oil change ! General manager doesn't have management skills. Why you give appointment when you have 130 cars and only two technician in the back! Very bad management at toyota of miller. They really need to hire good skilled people! I made mistake coming to miller but never again !
