Donia was so helpful and amazing. We told her a certain amount that we wanted to spend and she matched it. Even to the color and the interior for both vehicles.
2019 Slams Brakes on While Driving - bbaldwin
Safety Alert! Faulty sensors in 2019 VW Tiguan SEL jams brakes without cause. Neftin refuses to provide service or refund when car goes rogue.
Nine days after purchasing our brand new 2019 Tiguan SEL, the Front Assist function began malfunctioning, unpredictably slamming on the brakes while we were driving. More than once this left us stranded in the middle of busy intersections.
We immediately brought these issues to the attention of the dealership. The Service Manager’s response was particularly stunning: “Didn’t you Google this before you bought it?” He went on to say, “the vehicle is acting as designed…it is unfixable”. He explained that the Front Assist sensors are “seeing” the ground when we drive across a gutter or dip, such as exiting a parking lot and pulling onto the roadway. The car responds by jamming the brakes in the middle of traffic, and requires us to take the car out of drive and return it to drive before we can move forward.
We are seriously concerned for our safety and the safety of others. Neftin refuses to return our calls. We are now dealing with the corporate office of VW, trying to get some help. We are also getting help from a VW dealership in the valley, whose service department was able to recreate this problem multiple times during a test drive. We are hopeful they will do the right thing.
DO NOT BUY FROM NEFTIN. AND DO NOT BUY ANY VW WITH FRONT ASSIST.
Buyer Beware!!!! - ET1122
I purchased my used Touareg from them long distance as I live in Northern California and I was taken by Parkway Volkswagen. Do not trust what they say about the vehicle - they don't even know what a USB port is!! The worst part is the tires - the ones they sold on my vehicle are not even rated for it!! And two wheels are bend. This in total will cost me almost $2,000, of which they are not willing to help cover.
I have to say the worst part is their dealing with me on the issues. At first I got the sales manager, Donny Levine, on the phone - but he kept telling me he would call me back after he looked at the safety reports, etc. Never got a call back. And then when I would call I would just get transferred around and voice mails. When I finally got another manager he said again he would look into it and call me back - but he didn't.
It's pretty sad that you can't trust a dealership to do the right thing and you can't buy a vehicle over the internet these days.
Lastly, they kept telling me that the car was owned by the dealership's owner's wife. Don't believe them!!! There is no way the owner's wife would have been given a car with tires that are dangerous as they are not rate for the car.
My salesman was Henry and his boss is Donny Levine.
Good luck to you on your purchase - I hope this helps you.
