Me and my family purchased four vehicles from Auto City. Each time, there is no nonsense, no pressure and no games. They are very helpful when choosing a car and getting financing. There is no price haggling because the prices are extremely fair...and I know how to verify the value of a vehicle. I recently purchased a 2019 Nissan Sentra with all the fixins'. I purchased the car for about $900 less than any other dealership I shopped. Plus, it was in great condition, except for some minor things one would expect a used car to have...but their service department fixed them very quickly and perfectly. My last car I purchased at Auto City was a 2011 Chrysler 200 which had 54000 miles. I am still driving that car in the family and it currently has 218,000 miles. My son bought a Toyota Matrix and drove Uber for 3 years, trading it in with 230,000 miles. Another car bought was a Chevrolet Malibu that was purchased and is driving great with no problems and well over 100,000 miles. All of the cars we purchased had no problem other than an alternator, battery and minor things like that when cars reached over 160,000 miles, and this is to be expected. We never had any major issues with any car, and no problem until many miles later after purchase. My most recent purchase at Auto City took in to consideration that I was self-employed this time. Isaac Duran, the finance manager, did everything in his power to get financing with a lower interest rate, and he did it. All I can say is that if you go anywhere else, you will pay more, put up with weird sales games and miss out on an easy, positive experience in buying a car. And, to boot, they will stand by your car for 6 months, 6,000 miles along side the dealer warranty (they have a huge auto service department to ensure the cars they sell are good). They have always backed us up and made buying a car a positive, easy, confident and a no-risk transaction. Anywhere else I went to check, I always got the "weird-ar" pegging out. Very good, honest people and great cars, with no worries! This is a very positive review, but there is truly nothing I can complain about after buying all of our family cars there for years. Talk to salesperson Mike or Alex...they are both very helpful, friendly and know what they are doing. The sales manager is great and ensures everything goes quick, smooth and I get a good deal.

Let me start out by saying that this and other places like this place should be shut down.
My grandson and I were totally scammed into buying a used car, the dealership must have done something to the dash readings to show not accurate info.
After only around 5 months the engine on the vehicle has blown, we are looking at different mechanics to see what can be done, and it comes down to the same prognosis, the engine needs to be replace.
The dealership knew that the car was a totale lemon but made sure to make the car seem great.
This world is a horrible place, and people like these at this dealership make you really see how horrible it is, how do they sleep at night.
If I could I would give a -star cause they don't deserve not even a 1 star.

I have done business with multiple dealerships and this was the best car buying experience of my entire 49 years. They accomodated bring me up to Oceanside from Pacific Beach in my car I choose, so it was a great test drive! The owner really cares about making your car buying experience 5stars! I spoke with the owners father who also has worked at the dealership for over a decade, and he was a friendly, knowledgeable, and really cared about getting me in the right car. The cars the have on their lot are in great condition, they take pride in what they are selling. I have referred complete strangers to them, and I am a guaranteed life long client for myself and my family and friends! Thank you 5 Grand Autoland, your staff and vehicles are honest and genuinely care about the customer, it wasn't like I dealing with a sales person!

Jon was friendly, fast, and very efficient. Market West Motors is small, and is nothing like dealing with a large dealership--Jon runs everything and there are no middle-men to go through. But like a dealership, he helps to take care of all of the paper work and gets you on the road fast. So it's the best of both worlds: Craigslist-level used car prices with dealership service. I'm really happy with the 2014 Prius Plug-In that he sold me. Don't bother making low-balls though, he's immune to offers on cars that he has priced competitively already :D

I already had my financing taken care of, however Mike in finance was able to find me a local Credit Union who had an amazing interest rate compared to my bank. Literally saved me thousands. They could have just sold me the vehicle and took the money, however Mike went out of his way to save me and my family some of our hard earned money. Not just a good dealership, but an establishment of great people. Will recommend them to anyone I know looking for a vehicle in the future!

Classic bait & switch - I went to look at a used car for my daughter as seen online. The salesman Michael was very nice and said it had been sold, then showed me more expensive alternative. I left, but returned the next day to make a deal on the car, and made an offer of $1,000 off the online price. Michael had me sign the deal and he presented it to the manager in the back office, came out and shook my hand said its a deal. Then, about 20 minutes later, the manager comes out and says he can't sell me the car that low, showing me his invoice, but I could pay full price.
I told him I don't understand, the deal was already made, approved by manager, and hand shake. He says he was busy. Never experienced this before, obviously they have no integrity and cannot keep their own word! I mentioned that the original car I came to see at a much lower price is still being showed on the website, he said they go off after 24 hours. Well not true, on the day of this review (1 week later) the car still shows on page 1 of the website, for a car they don't even have. "Classic bait & switch" followed by the manager pushing to get full price after the deal was made! This was my second visit to the dealership. Unbelievable, don't approve deals in the back, then come out and push to get a higher price. Total joke!
No worries, I left and will never return. Found the same car at another ford dealership the same day, purchased online DONE!
These kind of tactics are the reason I hate going to car dealers. Seriously!!
