Dude is awesome! - Lukenzie
Hugh was so incredibly helpful with Luke and I today. We were in a bit of a pickle with our no good credit and negative equity on our VW. There was actually a moment where we were about to leave disappointed but High came through for us!! We ended up making a great friend out of it too, so that’s a plus!
Couldn’t wish for better service. - LJDBIRD
Went above and beyond to take care of my car.
Did work and fixed issues that could have easily been given the “its normal” or “no problem found” treatment.

Service you can trust - jazhiel
I highly recommend Southbay VW, specifically the service adviser Ricardo Sanchez. One thing that's hard to find in a service shop or dealership is honesty, but with Ricardo honesty is his policy and he's build a reputation for integrity.
I've been coming here for oil changes, repairs, and auto body repairs. Ricardo has been very attentive and does everything he can to help me out. I really appreciate that he makes sure to call or text me with the progress on my car. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to Ricardo at Southbay Volkswagen as long as he keeps working there. No question about that. Ricardo is extremely professional and knowledgeable.
You can’t find a better, smarter or nicer team - Notamorningperson99
Norman is terrific. Knows his cars but more important, a very good listener. He heard my issue and with Abe and other team members worked through the problem until there was a resolution. Super service and friendly, almost makes you want to have an issue so you can go in and hang with the team.
Painless car buying experience. - semperfi1775
Upon arriving at the dealership I was greeted promptly with friendly smiles. Within 5 minutes I was test driving the car I had inquired about online. During the test drive Rafael was explaining the various features included with the car. He never rushed me to finish my test drive and allowed me to perform various brake and acceleration checks however I saw fit. Needless to say I ended up buying the car and the whole experience took only 2 hours. A lot of the staff here, when they found I was military, went out of their way to come and shake my hand and give praise for the job I do. Coachella Valley Volkswagen is a professional, efficient, comfortable and welcoming environment that I would recommend to anyone in the market for a Volkswagen.
Don’t get your car serviced here - Supton
First off mom was really nice, but I got my car serviced here a year ago took almost a month to get it back and the same part that was fixed is now broken again. Also found screws missing and the turbo wasn’t put back properly. Whoever is in charge clearly does sloppy work and is not trustworthy. Do not get your car serviced here. They will charge you an insane amount for labor and do a horrible job. Currently looking into a different mechanic because this dealership couldn’t do the job.
Service - Carjoy
The overall price and how I was treated at time of the service was phenomenal. I was quoted a price that was a little higher than it actually was and that was a relief to me. I was also properly informed about my future service and was treated very kindly.
great experience purchasing a vehicle - metarzan17
I worked with the internet agent, Brian Dulaney. He was prompt in responding to my inquiries, and provided transparent pricing. He also was nice enough to show me the features of the vehicle.
GTI purchase - 1bixby1
I had great experience working with Danny on my GTI lease. He provided all the senders to my questions and was a pleasure to work with. Even after the fact, he checked in to make sure I was enjoying my car. Great service, great people, highly recommended.
She asked us to please not submit a review - atlas2018
We leased the 2018 Atlas, i have to say we are super happy with the SUV and the service received by Norm Reeves Volkswagen, but we are very disappointed with April Dean. She asked us to please not submit a review for her because after the SUV inspection we noticed a small dent in one of the doors, she told us that she would set up a time for us to fix that and not to give her a review until the door was fixed. She called me a fee times to find out how the Atlas was working and if we were happy, on the last call i told her that she keeps calling us to know how is everything is good however we were still waiting for the appointment, she told me that she would contact my boyfriend for that, of course that did not happen and she never called again.
NIGHTMARE PLEASE DONT COME HERE - Tonimarie
I purchased a car from here about 6 months ago a 2016 Ford Fiesta only 55k miles I felt really good for a used car within first 6 months I’ve had to get over 4 repairs and two toes due to car not being drivable and spent over 2000$ dollars I’ve reached out to manager nick Hassan multiple times been transferred to two other dealerships and still no solutions I’ve came in here literally in years so stressed had to not pay rent for a month just to get my car fixed and I purchased the extended warranty for over another 1k which basically didn’t cover anything that needed to be repaired I just feel so ripped off and this isn’t how it should be when you purchase a car and I’m financed so all these problems and I’m still paying over 300$ every month and I’m not the only one I posted a review on yelp and instantly got messages from over 5 people wanting to protest against this dealership it has to be something we can do but please don’t be like me please DONT purchase from this dealership!! I assumed since it was a big known dealership they would have a lot to lose having such a big name but no
Car Pros is the BEST - Artg23
By far the BEST car shopping experience ever. Super fast, easy, and simple. I went in because I saw the 2017 Dodge Ram they had online. When I walked in the dealership I was nicely greeted by Jazmin. Both Jazmin and Santa were very helpful and answered all my questions. Thank you to Sales Manager Manny as well. I will definitely recommend this dealership 100%. Car Pros Volkswagen is by far the BEST!!!
Dishonest... - pmw-ps
I went to in to see a used minivan they had listed on autotrader. After spending the day looking at vehicles, I called back to Alex to go back and look at the minivan again. He told he the manager raised the price $3600 to $16,585. After cooling off, I started my search again to find the minivan still advertised on the internet at $13,995! If they are this dishonest when buying a vehicle - I have to assume it flows through the entire dealership.
2019 Volkswagen jetta - Ctoquero
We were pleased with the service we received from Derek Reyes and Andrew Barros. My daughter was very happy with her first new vehicle. The car was even delivered to my daughter’s work since she was working the day we agreed on a deal. High five to Andrew!
Very happy customers - Mrs Smith
My husband and I had been looking for a second hand car for a few weeks and after visiting many car dealerships, I have to say that VW had the best customer service! Shawn, Daniel and Ricky were exceptional and helped us secure our chosen car same day.
I highly recommend this branch..
Scam Artists - Nicholas
The initial buying experience was fine, only to be followed by complete and utter nonsense from the dealership.
Due to their own neglect and complete lack of intelligence, they are demanding I owe them over $1000, 45+ days after signing lease papers on a new Volkswagen.
They are attempting to RIP ME OFF and I will not stand for it.
These are the LOSERS / CON ARTISTS I dealt with:
EDWIN LEGASPI - Sales Manager / Scam Artist
OMAR FONSECA - Sales Manager / Scam Artist
DANNY DONAYRE - Good Cop / Scam Artist

Disappointed - Johng
On March 2nd I took my daughters Beetle in for a brake fluid flush. I noticed that evening when I got home some residue on the headlight and bumper of the car. Took some pictures and sent to the service manager for him to see that they spilled some brake fluid on the vehicle and it damaged the paint. First they said it was battery acid then they said they didnt now what it was but dont think that brake fluid will damage paint, I called VW corporate and even they confirmed that brake fluid will eat paint in a matter of hours. I shocked that they refuse to take care of their mistake even after speaking with the General Manager. I took the car back to show them the damage and even have a voice mail with the service manager saying he will take care of it.
"Not a way to treat a customer, bad service.. “ part 2 - A client like you
Yesterday I received this extremely courteous message on this forum which is the complete opposite to how I have been treated by Jerod Proulx. I tells me they will own their actions “privately “ so let’s share how this ends publicly!
After my review. I was lied continuously for a bit longer than a week, I call every day as I was promised a call with status but never received a single call back, I was able to talk to Jerod Proulx who by a miracle was not “in a meeting” or had “ a family emergency “
This is how he talks: “ I am kind enough to do you the favor since I had to review my cameras and noticed you didn’t test you car” note; that’s not how guarantees work, The job is guaranteed regardless of eat eat briefly works in front of a camera the day you pick your car. Keep in mind it took them over a week to respond however When I dropped off the car for second time it was almost 5 P They send me an email 7:45 AM next day telling me the car had electrical issues therefore they will not guarantee anything.
Funny how they can diagnose within seconds at clients cost But take over a week to respond when its at dealers cost.
Would picked the car up for the second time we tested it in front of the cameras just like Jerod Proulx wanted however he didn’t even bother to show his face .
Not to surprise the car doesn’t work properly I called immediately and Jerod Proulx talked to me in this terms “ Do you whatever you want I want pay more money for your car”
There you have it McKenna Volkswagen Cerritos at its best
Following this there will be formal complaint unless the situation is rectified and the job Is honored in full.
Will keep everyone posted.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
They have no idea how to do business. - Anonymous
This dealership desperately needs to hire more professional and friendly people to value their customers, unless they are doing that well that they can afford turning costumers away in less than 1/2 hour. Went to lease our 4th VW from them and was treated very unprofessional that had to leave ASAP. Will never go back there ever again.
Awful customer service with the service center - UpsetVWcustomer
Never take your car here! I brought my car to get the engine light diagnosed. When I went to pick up the car, they had damaged it (it was hit on the back left, see picture). They denied doing any damage. I had them look at video footage and they realized there was NO damage to the car when I dropped it off originally. They agreed to fix it for me. However, when I went to pick up the car again, there was MORE damage and they hadn't fixed the entire car! They only fixed part of it (the black plastic part was still broken!). It took a ton of haggling back and forth to get them to agree to fix the rest of it. I had to wait at the dealership for 3 hours. Additionally, their staff was rude and insulting to me and accused me of only taking my car to them to get diagnosed for free and then having pep boys work on it. This is completely untrue! They had sent me a coupon for a free diagnosis. After it was diagnosed, I decided to sell the car instead of getting it fixed. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this dealership for oil changes, engine diagnosis, and air bag repairs. They accused me of not being a "regular customer". Even if it was the first time I was going there, if you damage someone's car, you should fix it immediately and not insult the customer. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I would NEVER go here again! The guys that work in the service center are rude and disrespectful. They also put down other service centers (ie: pep boys and jiffy lube) and say that other service centers are incompetent and don't know what they're doing. The guys that work here are egotistical and arrogant and think they know everything. Clearly they don't know how to give good customer service.
Horrible customer service - Atlast515
Completely shocked! We were being helped by a very nice salesman who forgyot to tell us the prices are completely non negotiable. The manager who we felt is not very customer oriented and felt like he was talking down to us. The car had a crack in the windshield which had spider legs all round it and he said he will have them repair not replace the window. I’ve had many cracked windshields and know that this for sure will become much bigger in time. He said he would only repair it and if down the road it became bigger they would fix it. Why not just fix it??? It is a LARGE crack. We ended up leaving without the car because the manager wouldn’t hear of coming down on the price at the least.
The next day received a text from them asking if we found a car yet. I said no but If they brought the price down $500 and fixed the windshield we would come today pay cash. They declined our offer.
Later in the day my family and I talked and decided if we pay full price for the car then it shouldn’t be a problem for them to fix the crack in the windshield. We are offering FULL price.
The manager was rude and short and said NO.
I’m just very surprised that they would try to sell this car with a crack in the windshield. Anyone who would look at it can see how bad it is even our salesperson admitted it had spiderlegs that will spread. We are buying a car for my 16 year old daughter and this is a definite safety issue. Just commen sense and safety.
Very disappointed in dealership and this manager.
The original salesperson was really nice but this manager definetly tainted the whole dealership.
Josue Centella you definetly need better customer service skills. I can’t imagine the owner of this dealership would commend you for this transaction.
Buyer beware! Do not buy a used car from this dealership!!! - Margaret B
I bought a used 2015 Honda Accord Sport from PHVW. It was advertised with low milage and a clear Carfax report. When I test drove the car I asked if the car had ever been involved in an accident and I was told no it had not. The car appeared to be in pristine condition, but it did have two small dents on both sides of the rear quarter panels which their body shop repaired before I took possession of the car. I owned the car less than 5 months when I was stopped at a traffic light and my car was rear ended. When I took the car to the collision repair shop the accident appraiser took one look at the car and stated that the car had had previous body damage. Needless to say I was shocked and upset. I had searched for months for just the right used car that had NOT been involved in an accident, only to find out I had bought exactly what I had tried to avoid. When I contacted PHVW they feigned ignorance, stating the Carfax was clear and they did not know about any prior damage. I do not believe them for one second!!! I am well aware of the very thorough inspection and vetting process a reputable dealership puts a vehicle through when taking a vehicle in for trade or purchase to sell on their lot. Any appraiser worth their salt would have noticed that my vehicle had prior body work done on it. I truly believe that they knew about the damage and even if the appraiser didn't catch the damage their body shop surely noticed the prior damage when they repaired the two small dents on the rear quarter panels. They should have notified me of the prior damage at that time so I could make an informed decision whether I wanted to go ahead with the purchase or not. It turns out the car had been involved in a prior rear end accident......the previous owner had failed to file an SR1 Accident Form with the DMV that is why it did not appear on the Carfax. Forwarned is forearmed.....If you are considering purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership do not trust their statements or documentation as to the condition of the vehicle. They will lie to you with a big smile on their face. Before you sign any paperwork, take the vehicle to a competent mechanic and collision repair shop for evaluation. I was deceived ......... Maybe I can spare another unsuspecting customer the grief of being taken advantage of like I was!
Not loyal to customers - Oriol Serra
Don't get fooled by the smiles and red carpet when buying a car there, because if at some point your interests as a customer do not align with their business needs they will not go the extra mile they go for when making money out of your pocket. I bought a 2014 VW Tiguan R-Line end of 2014, before the VW scandal...obviously while my car was not diesel , the VW scandal affected my car value now that i want to sell it out as i am moving out of the country. I went back recently to the dealer asking if they could re-buy my car , they declined buying the car i bought from them 2 years ago and suggested me I go to carmax as they already have enough inventory...i get it, but as they get creative to buy your used car when you are going to buy a new car from them it seems that when this is not the case their creativity gets dry and they ditch you as customer...think twice about buying with them because they will only cater to their needs and selfishness
Service history on my new beetle in this dealer: $800 to... - wkqe03a
Service history on my new beetle in this dealer:
$800 to fix airbag indicator yellow light. The light came back two weeks later and it was not under the work warrant because it was not the same problem.
$500 to replace transmission seal but still see slow leaking one month after the repair work.
More scatches on dash covers , steer wheel and door panels after each oil change (new interior became worn interior after oil changes).
Oil level extremely low (no oil on dip stick) one week after oil change at one time.
After an oil change, radio (both AM and FM) recieves no signal and make very load noise. Service advisor comment: It is normal for VW in this area, Escondido, CA. Somehow, It gets signal again four years later after a battery change in Murriata VW dealer, CA.
This car could blow up in my wife or kids face and kill them - Mike Hosley
Bought a Passat, not a Diesel, just a regular Passat with the defective airbags.
Now, a year later, I can't sell it , trade it, or get a resolution, but I know that employees of this dealership were able to take the identical car, with the identical defect, and trade that car for a brand new one.
They do a great job servicing cars, but the uneven response and program offered to employees underscores the contempt for the customers.
I wrote a detailed letter to Oscar Martinez, and afforded the dealership, and the salesman the chance to make it right, even by putting my wife into a different car at our expense- . My wife. In a year, my kid will be driving- should I let her drive the car? Would you let your kid drive the car? So it's of little use to me at all.
He quit the dealership, went to a more reputable product line but I'm the one with the worthless car, he drives a brand new Passat and was able to turn his in.
Great Dealer with Great Deal - Autolease
This is a small but very honest and hard working dealer who wants to business with you. I returned 2012 leased Volkswagen vehicle (Passat) (prior to 9 months of expiration). Sales team were very honest, kind and very helpful. Within 2 hours, I walked away with leased a brand new 2015 Passat at the same monthly price with Sign N Drive (0-0-0-0) I was paying for my 2012 Passat.
NOW THAT'S GREAT DEAL & GREAT EFFORTS BY SALES TEAM.
