Buying a car can be stressful, let alone during Covid. I called ahead and asked about the process due to the pandemic. They carefully explained the process over the phone and actually followed through on their words. Upon arriving, the car was ready, and the sanitization occurred in front of me. They appear to be genuinely concerned about their safety as well as the customers’.
I noticed that they all appeared to be related and I was correct, as they’re a family of 3 running a small operation. Everything appeared to be straightforward with no red flags. The car has been great so far and I’m happy with it. I will be taking a look at their inventory first, for my next car purchase. Cheers!

10 mile a hr accident.. 6 times my truck had to go back.. the ship is the worst. Half the hardware was put back on, front end loose.. Ac condenser not bolted down, Ac low pressure hose not mounted.. low pressure AC hose blew.. paint / clear built up a 1/8th in n the door edges.. truck had 5000 miles on it when the repairs were done. Dealership had them redo the work.. again!! Same issue shop lied expressing the paint was stripped to bare metal.. I pointed out in the blend it wasn’t..
The dealership was willing to take the truck if the repairs were not satisfactory. Now that manager had left.. no one at Marin Toyota gives two F! After two years of dealing worh issues

I've had a terrible experience with this Toyota Dealership. I'm trying to trade in my truck and put in my information on Truecar.com. I was contacted this week by a sales person named Josh. He told me that Toyota was paying way over KBB to buy trucks and that mine was one they were looking for. I gave him my truck information. He said that the owner, GM, had approved a price but I had to come in for them to inspect. When I asked what that number was, he said he had to confirm with his used car sales manager and would get back to me. Two days later......
So I get call from Savannah, two days later. She gives me the same schpeel and when I told her that I was working with someone who hasn't called me back. yet, she said that it's because I had to physically bring the car in. I said so that we don't waste each others time, I'd like to know a ballpark figure of what it's worth to you. She said I had until Saturday to bring it in for this remarkable opportunity. We went back and forth on the merits of just giving me a ballpark figure and she said "would you buy a car without looking at it or buying it?" I responded by saying no, but when I buy a car I always negotiate a price BEFORE I come in or why would I waste your time?
Rudely, she said well I will pass your information along to Josh and he can deal with you. It's a shame that smaller dealerships have to resort to cheap tactics to get people to come in. This is my first and last time I work with this dealership. My advice is to look at CityToyota in South SF, Melody Toyota (under new ownership) and possibly Toyota Fremont. I've bought cars from them and the experience from top to bottom has been remarkable. Buyer beware!

He set it up and told me about the service involved and the time line. Once I showed up for my appointment, every detail was set up. Since I had asked to check an additional item, Paul was proactive in even arranging a 'loaner' car for me. Paul was professional and customer service oriented. Our sales person mislead us about a tow package being on the car. On top of that we were told CarMax was ordering us 2 keys fobs. This was not the case!! We had to make an appointment and then they ordered ONE key fob. Very disappointed!! My whole experience was terrible. On top of that, we have had the new/used car for 2 weeks and the brakes are bad. So tell me why they wouldn’t have checked the brakes prior to selling!!?? I am sitting in the service department now and they are telling me it’s going to take an hour to diagnose bad breaks!!! What the heck!!?? So then after they diagnose, I then have to make another appointment to have brakes fixed!?! Meanwhile my family isn’t safe due to bad brakes!!!

The Company was quick to respond to my first Request For Information (RFI) and they shared the CARFAX report with me, which indicated a damage report that had been revealed by the owner. Since they were asking the top blue book estimate +, I sent a second RFI regarding this damage, from that point they become unresponsive with information and told me to come look at it, as if the damage would be apparent, but; not worth discussing. My attempt to get the information before traveling the 1.5 hours of I80 traffic to look at one vehicle that was overpriced was something everyone does every day.

DO NOT BUY from this dealer without fully testing the vehicle by a professional. They manage to make the vehicle look far better than they are. I had to pay $5,700 to repair a defect they knew was in the vehicle but didn't disclose. Bad people

I would not recommend you buy a Tesla from this dealership. Either he does not examine preexisting damage while he is getting the car from auction or he does not take proper care of his inventory once he gets it on his lot. Either way, expect him to pretend to be oblivious and feign ignorance. The guy is simply not a straight shooter and his handshake is meaningless. Plenty of other places to find a Tesla where they will take pride in selling you a car all the while being fully transparent about its paint and glass flaws.

I advise every one to get your vehicle visually inspected by another shop before purchasing and also Make sure have every thing in writing they will switch the story or end up ignoring your calls or emails like me.
